Yes, when he went to Japan recently for a week-long tour to promote Baahubali 2, he’s not only greeted warmly but he’s also given various gifts. And the director is unpacking them every day to find out what he got.

From artworks of scenes in Baahubali to Rajamouli’s own portraits, from sketches of Prabhas to drawings on hand-fans, Japanese has stunned the director with interesting gifts. Rajamouli stated that every gift he got was so unique and amazing and he says that Japan became his most favourite now. So what are the gifts given to Prabhas and Rana then?

The director says, “I don’t want to open the gifts given to Prabhas and Rana. We will unbox them once we all meet”. That’s a gentleman’s gesture and probably Rajamouli wants to capture that original elated expression on the faces of Baahubali and Bhallaladeva by doing so.

From a time, Krish is busy carving out the life story of Rani Jhansi Lakshmi Bhai, the first ever freedom fighter coming from the royal family to oppose British. Titled “Manikarnika”, the film is expected to release on August 15th, on the eve of Independence Day this year. Featuring Kangana Ranaut in the lead role, there is huge hype around the movie.

Reports are coming that the film might miss out the release date due to a delay in visual effects work. Like other films, the Computer Graphics work of the movie is not distributed to various VFX houses, but only one company is said to be handling it. And with Krish demanding quality work with realistic looks, the work is getting extended.

In case if the 2018 Independence Day date is missing, then the makers might opt for January 26th next year. But the film has to sustain momentum and buzz till then.

Many a time there are rumours that Dutt is upset with the way his daughter does things abroad. And it is revealed that she will not be setting screens on fire as her father don’t want to do. But here is another stunner.

Apparently, Sanjay Dutt’s daughter from his first wife Richa Sharma, Trishala Dutt is raising the temperatures by a couple of degrees back home. Puri Jagan felt that the film is a genuine product from him and want the support of audiences to make it more successful. “I’ve done a genuine love story for the first time without usual comedy and item songs. In my career, this is the first best film I’ve done it wholeheartedly” he added. But here is another point Puri highlighted.

“I never got chance to thank Balakrishna garu for his support. During the making of the movie, he used to call me now and then to inquire about the progress. He has always been a pillar of support and I had never expected that he would give such value to friendship. Thank you, sir. Jai Balayya” said Puri, in an elated tone.

He further added, “I’m happy that they wrote great words about Akash even though they gave a bad review of the film. The audience with whom I’ve watched the film with, whether in USA or here, they all are super excited about the movie. Currently, Mehbooba needs the support of everyone, so please support us”.

Forget about what critics say or what Puri Jagan says, but what are the numbers saying about his Indo-Pak love story? In the last weekend, the film collected 51 lakhs nett from all the multiplexes in Telugu states. That’s good, but not enough.
