Ram’s next titled Hello Guru Prema Kosame is directed by Trinadharao Nakkina who delivered back to back hits with Cinema Chupista Maava and Nenu Local.Dil Raju who had a terrific 2017 is hoping to continue the success streak in 2018 with this film.

Akhil’s Hello received a rare world honour!
Akkineni young scion Akhil’s Hello may have failed to set the cash registers ringing at the box office, but the film has received a rare world honour. Hello has been nominated at the 17th Taurus World Stunt Awards 2018. The festival began on May 12 in Los Angeles.
Hello has been nominated in the Best Action in a Foreign Film category. The film will be vying for the top honour along with other nominees from Argentina/Spain, Russia, China and Germany. The final results will be announced on May 18.
Hello had some stunning action sequences and free running stunts choreographed by Hollywood stunt coordinator Bob Brown. Bob had earlier worked on Hollywood biggies like xXx: Return of Xander Cage, Transformers: Dark of the Moon and Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief.
Two Absolute References Behind ‘Mahanati’ Story
Even the likes of Megastar Chiranjeevi are stunned the way director Nag Ashwini has carved a storyline to depict “Mahanati” on the silver screen in the much adorable way. But there seems to be a stunning reference that helped the director big time. Here goes an interesting find by our team.
Apparently, the base for Savitri’s scenes related to her film journey is taken from one particular reference and her personal life from another reference. The base for her film scenes including that of her uncle rejecting the idea of sending her to dance, the way she’s out of ANR’s movie (her debut film), how she imitated SV Ranga Rao with a ‘gadha’ on her shoulder and how she ended up singing a song for Ghantasala are revealed by none other than Savitri only.
Yes, her radio interview given to “All India Radio” Bezawada station is the literal reference for those scenes. If you could listen to that interview on YouTube, you could notice that all the incidents she mentioned have turned into scenes.
And the tragic side of her life, especially her personal life, including that of doing unwanted charity, getting addicted to alcohol after Gemini Ganesan made her drink, and the way IT raids took place, all these stuff are chronologically taken from a sensational article published about the actress in early 80s. The reference image of that article is freely available on the internet too.
After going through these two references, one would feel that Nag Ashwin got most of the original inspiration from these two only. But anyway, he crafted a terrific film in the end.
Young Hero Upset With Beer Scarcity In Krishna Nagar
From last two years, as Summer comes, beer consumption is increasingly quite large and rapidly. Those who love to consume hard liquor are shifting towards chilled beer to quench their thirst.
Exceeding the states like Kerala, last year Telangana registered a record in beer sales by selling almost 40 lakh cases in April alone. This year it looks no different as the soaring temperatures are making the hard-liquor-state turn to beers and even celebs are also running like a common man from shop to shop to fetch their beer crates.
Other day, being a Sunday, many youths indulged in lengthy parties at their rooms and also bars. And this young hero who is currently running out of films in hand is wandering in Krishna Nagar area with his friends to grab a couple of beers. Known for three popular wine shops in the area, Krishna Nagar is a hub for cinema technicians, Jr artists and sometimes for some young heroes also. While the three wine shops that are closely knitted to each other generally maintain full stock in any season, other day this hero got stunned to see that he’s not able to get a beer.
By 7’0 clock in the evening, all the chilled beer stock ran out, making this hero wander from shop to shop in his car and only to his friends finding out that there is no stock. Though some shops have unrefrigerated stock, our hero wants only chilled ones, hence he didn’t buy.
While the hero and his gang are upset with the scarcity of beer, his well-wishers are advising the hero to stop living on beer in this way. Already his bulging body is being associated with this hardcore drinking habit.
Shocking! Nela Ticket Producer Close To Profits
What is buzzing in trade circles and what is coming from the producer’s close quarters is quite contrasting when it comes to Mass Raja’s latest film “Nela Ticket”. Though the film is set for May 24th release, the theatrical rights business unfinished, here comes a shocker.
Producer Ram Talluri is said to be betting big on Nela Ticket right from the beginning. And he has wrapped the whole movie under 30 crores budget including that of paying whopping 10 crores to Mass Raja. That said, he has already sold the film’s satellite, dubbing and digital rights for 24 crores to a third party. That means, already a massive investment is recovered by these deals and producer needs only nominal amounts to get profits.
With his last film, a flop of epic proportions, “Touch Chesi Choodu” theatrical rights sold almost for 25 crores, right now the producer is expecting that Nela Ticket will make at least 20 crores in terms of rights. Though they are demanding more than 25 for now, in the end, they sell for 20 crores only. But that pushes the producer into almost 15 crores profit, isn’t it?
As Telugu films are making most in North India these days, many big digital and satellite buyers are investing hugely in Telugu movies. That’s the reason Raviteja’s films are fetching 20+ crores through satellite rights and that’s why Mass Raja is demanding such huge remuneration as well.
TV Rights: Rumours on Mahanati Are False!
Contrary to rumours, the satellite rights of Mahanati are yet to be sold. Leading entertainment channels Gemini TV, Maa TV and Zee are vying up for the film’s TV rights. A few reports had indicated that the TV rights have fetched Rs 11 Crore. However, it is reliably learnt that there is no truth in it. The talks are going on and the deal value is also not yet finalized.
Producers are reportedly quoting 18 to 19 Crore only from the TV rights. On the other hand, Amazon Prime and Yupp TV are also quoting big figures to bag the rights of this epic.
Billed to be the biopic of legendary actress Savitri, the film features Keerthy Suresh, Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Deverakonda, Samantha, Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Krish in pivotal roles.
Made in Telugu and dubbed into Tamil, Malayalam, the film earned rave reviews from critics, audiences alike. The film turned out to be a money spinner at the BO. Especially, in the US, the film is doing very well.
Amidst this, the film’s producers Swapna and Priyanka are planning to cash in on the film’s craze from the TV rights.

Here is the never-seen-before Venkaiah Naidu. Wearing a coat and hat, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu looked totally different and casual compared to his usual white dhoti and white shirt.
Venkaiah was in Peru where he was visiting the historical places of Peru. He took to Twitter and shared the above pic. Drunken Driving : Telugu Actor Caught
Despite serious punishments and serial check-ups, the arrests in drunken driving continues to be on the rise. Even film celebrities seem to have learnt no lessons. After famous TV anchor Pradeep Machiraju was caught and given serious counselling, here is another film actor from Tollywood who was caught in the drunken driving tests conducted by the city police on Saturday night (May 12).
As per regular drunken driving tests, cops have done check-ups in 6 spots in the Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills last night.
80 Cars and 30 bikes were seized. Cases have been filed against at least 110. One among them is Kireeti Damaraju. Kireeti, who is seen in side roles in films, was caught in drunk and drive test conducted in the Jubilee Hills. Kireeti was seen in Ram and Sri Vishnu’s Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi.
Sick CM’s Video Message From US
Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, who has been undergoing treatment for a pancreatic ailment at a hospital in the US since 69 days, has finally released a video message.
While Opposition Congress has been demanding for a full-time CM in the absence of Manohar Parrikar, BJP leaders have telecast the video of Manohar where he said he would be back in few weeks. The video message was played at a BJP workers’ meeting that was addressed by party president Amit Shah. BJP leaders of Goa also confirmed that Manohar would return to the state in May itself.
Presently, a three-member advisory committee, comprising cabinet ministers, is looking after the day-to-day affairs of the government, in the absence of the CM Manohar Parrikar.
62-yr-old Manohar has left to the US on March 6 for the treatment for a pancreatic ailment. Earlier, Manohar was treated at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital and he was discharged. But after a few days, his health suffered again. That’s when he has left to the US for the treatment.
Meanwhile, an emotional letter of repentance purportedly written by Manohar Parrikar was circulated online. However, BJP leaders and the CMO has later clarified that the letter was not written by Manohar.

Being honored with the Royal elephant ride on Hyderabad streets in this iconic photo moment is the legendary actress Savitri. The actress’ husband Gemini Ganesan is also seen riding on the elephant along with his wife.
