Young Hero Fall Out With Cameraman
He is a young hero who is riding high with the success of his recent film. Buzz has it that the hero had earlier promised his film’s cameraman that he would do a film with him in the latter’s direction. The cameraman, who was pinning all hopes about his directorial debut with the young hero, has received a shocker of his life when the young hero apparently turned down the cameraman’s proposal to direct him.
For this cameraman, the whole world came crashing down. Buzz is that the cameraman and the hero had a huge fallout and shouted on each other.
This is apparently the hot topic in the industry circuits. It’s heard that the hero is getting many big offers from top producers, production houses under well-known directors. This naturally put the hero’s plans of doing film with his cameraman on the back burner.
While such things are not new in film industry, however, the young hero’s attitude getting changed after tasting success is the talking point in film circles.
Highest Paid Chiranjeevi Heroine Is Here
Those were the days of Gang Leader. And Chiranjeevi became megastar by taking home 1.25 crores as a remuneration for that film. Like him, the heroine of the movie, Vijayasanthi has also shot to headlines by charging nearly a crore for her part. She’s the highest paid ever heroine and highest paid Chiranjeevi’s heroine so far.
Naturally, in Megastar’s movies, heroines roles are etched well apart from the amazing songs they have to be part of. For his comeback movie Khaidi No. 150, Chiru’s makers have reportedly filled pockets of Kajal Agarwal with nearly 2 crores. She became the highest paid heroine of Chiranjeevi then. But that record is broken now.
Buzz has that latest superstar Nayantara who has teamed up with Chiru for “Sye Raa” is taking home nearly 3 crores for enacting the wife of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy inside the film. With Nayan being a big starlet of huge market potential, the team of Sye Raa has to agree to her demand, a source says. That made Nayan the highest ever paid heroine of Megastar.
Definitely, with the matinee idol’s age crossing 60, it will be tough to find young star heroines who would like to get paired with him. So that makes his options thinner. And then if any star heroine agrees, then the price would be surely touching the sky.
Sr Actor Gundu Hanumantha Rao No More
Well-known comedian, actor, TV artiste Gundu Hanumantha Rao is no more. The popular actor breathed his last early today (around 3.30 AM on Feb 19, 2018) at his residence in SR Nagar, Hyderabad. He was 61.
Gundu Hanumantha Rao is survived by his son who completed his MS in the US and returned to India to look after his ailing father. Gundu Hanumantha Rao had been suffering from heart-related ailments for the past three years. According to his relatives, Hanumantha Rao underwent dialysis followed by heart surgery last year. His health slowly deteriorated leading to his sudden death.
Hanumantha Rao is quite popular for his role in Amrutham tele serial which went on to be one of the successful TV shows. Hanumantha Rao was a famous stage artiste before entering into films, TV serials. He had won 3 Nandi Awards from AP State government for his work for TV and one being for his role in Amrutham.
Gundu Hanumantha Rao made his film debut in 1987 with Jandhyala’s iconic film Aha Na Pellanta and there’s no looking back for him since then. He went on to acts in films such as Pellaniki Premalekha Priyuraliki Subhalekha in 1992, Rajendradu Gajendradu, Mayaloodu, Jodi No.1, Nenu Seetamahalakshmi, Kedi No.1, Apparao Driving School, Kalyanam, Original, Neramu Siksha, High School, Kothoka Vintha, Colors, Panchamukhi, Sri Sai Sankalpam, Mano Balam and etc.
Telugu film fraternity and the Movie Artistes Association has expressed deep condolences for the untimely death of Hanumantha Rao. His final rites will take place today evening at Erragadda Burial Ground in SR Nagar. Many film, TV actors are expected to pay their final tributes to Gundu Hanumantha Rao’s mortal remains.
Chiru’s Sweet Warning To Menalludu?
Following the release of Inttelligent, there was plenty of outcry from Mega fans those who didn’t like the story selection and direction. As it was fifth consecutive disaster from Sai Dharam Tej, some of the Mega fans directly expressed it to the actor and wanted him to make a strong comeback with a solid story. The media is also pointing at his failures and attacking Mega family for launching so many actors from same family.
Apart from fans, Megastar Chiranjeevi himself seems have fired a sweet warning shot at Tej in view of continuous flops from him. Considering the huge criticism that’s directly tarnishing the image of entire Mega family, Chiranjeevi straight away stepped in and advised Supreme Hero to become more serious and concentrate on the story lines rather than remaking his super hit songs.
Yes, Tej has made sure to remake Chiru’s super-hit songs in most of his films, but it’s no more a thing of attraction for both fans and regular audiences. He should soon walk out of the idea of remaking Megastar songs.
At the same time, other Mega actor Varun Tej is racing ahead with successive hits – Kanche, Fidaa and Tholiprema. Also, another Mega hero Allu Sirish scored some brownie points with his last flick ‘Okka Kshanam’.
Let us hope these fans, who’re disappointed with nonstop flops from Sai Dharam Tej, will find something they like in his upcoming films.

Made with a budget of 17 crores, Vidya Balan’s “Tumhari Sulu” collected 50 crores from the box office. The film has Vidya playing the role of a Radio Jockey who will be speaking in a sensuous honey laced tone and gives relationship advice to the callers. We hear that acclaimed director Radha Mohan wants to make this film in Tamil with Jyothika in the lead. Provided with the casting gets more interesting, the film might make more at the ticket windows and he found Jyothika quite suitable for the role.
Already Jyothika has shed her good girl image with films like Magalir Matiyum and Naachiyaar. So playing the role of Sulu wouldn’t be a tough one for her now. Let’s see what happens.
‘Porn Kalyan’ – RGV Crosses Limits!
Controversies and RGV’s tweets always go hand in hand and when it comes to tweeting about Pawan Kalyan, the filmmaker goes to extreme levels in choosing the words to either praise or contradict him.
But, this time, RGV discernably crossed his limits and associated his fondness for porn with Pawan Kalyan – which did not go well with the fans of Pawan Kalyan.
Hours after attending the interrogation by CCS official in a case booked for making derogatory comments on a social activist Devi on Saturday, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma detonated a couple of offensive tweets on Pawan Kalyan.
Equating the actor-turned-politician with porn, RGV called him ‘Porn Kalyan’ and said that is as real as ‘God Sex and Truth’. In his following post, RGV detailed more about it- ‘Because of the tremendous popularity of both Porn and Pawan , I think Porn Kalyan is an ultimate brand ..I personally like Porn and Pawan unequally equally and equally unequal.’
He also started a tweet poll between Porn and Pawan which shows Porn with a 2% lead over Pawan Kalyan – out of 35000 votes, 49% of votes were polled for Pawan and 51% for Porn. Unsurprisingly, the maverick director today tweeted – ‘I truly believe that Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena party is a tremendous beacon of hope for the next coming elections.’
It looks like the director is making use of Pawan-Porn comparison to deviate everyone’s attention from his police interrogation. While some of his followers are enjoying the useless tweets, most of them are bashing at him and the bad films he is making. Even the hard-core fans of Varma want him to switch his concentration over to ongoing film with Nagarjuna, rather than speaking about Pawan Kalyan and a disappointing web series GST (God, Sex and Truth).
