One of the major factors for the success of Allu Arjun’s films is, ‘timely promotions’. Bunny has employed a special team which works quite efficiently as far as promotion of his films is concerned.
Take the example of Bunny’s upcoming film, “Naa Peru Surya”. The film’s promotions started with the unveiling of ‘First Impact’ on the eve of New Year. Besides the impactful content in the promo video, the timing helped the promo clock millions of views in no time. Next, the film’s first single, a patriotic song, was unveiled on the eve of the Republic Day. Can there be a better day than the Republic Day to release a patriotic song?
Afresh, the team is set to release the film’s second song, a romantic melody, on the eve of Valentines Day. The theme of both the songs is perfectly in sync with the significance of the respective day, thus amplifying the impact the song can create.
Titled, ‘Lover also fighter also’, the song will be unveiled at 8.30 AM on Feb 14. The enticing poster hints how romantic the song is going to be. Bunny and Anu’s chemistry in the poster itself is very palpable. Composed by Bollywood duo Vishal-Sekhar, the melody is expected to become another chartbuster.
Naa Peru Surya Song Accidentally Leaked?
For an hour or so, mega fans started rejoicing with two mega treats enthralling them at the same time. One happens to be the ‘Em Sakkagunnave’ song from Rangasthalam and the other one is ‘Lover Also Fighter Also’ song from Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya movie.
Yes, Bunny’s NPS song was supposed to release on Feb 14th, but accidentally a teaser version of the lyrical song was up and live on YouTube on Tuesday itself. Well prepared for the song launch, both NPS makers and their music partner Aditya Music has uploaded the song and kept it under private mode before actually releasing it to the public. But shockingly, the song got onto live mode and got leaked with few fans finding it.
By the time Rangasthalam’s melody composed by Devi Sri Prasad started doing rounds, this song created by Vishal-Sekhar for Allu Arjun and Anu Emmanuel’s romance started doing rounds. The teasing continued for an hour and then the makers identified the glitch and deactivated the link. Before that, nearly four thousand people already felt the vibes of the song.
Some mega fans felt that maybe the makers should have released Naa Peru Surya song as well as that would have given a double kick to them. Okay, in a few hours, Bunny’s song will be officially released anyway.
Young Telugu Actor Introduces His Fiancee
A couple of days ago, we have informed our readers that young Telugu actor Priyadarshi, who became an overnight star with ‘Pelli Choopulu’ movie, is in love with a girl named Richa Sharma. The conformation has now come from the actor himself.
On the eve of Valentines Day, Priyadarshi introduced his Valentine, his fiancee, Richa Sharma. He shared a lovely of his fiancee and himself, and penned heart-touching words in his effort to tell how much he loves her and how blessed he feels to have her as his soulmate.
According to reports, Priyadarshi and Richa’s wedding will take place on February 23 in Hyderabad. Neither the actor nor his family members however have made an official announcement regarding the wedding yet.
Teaser Talk: Chal, Nithin’s Breakup Story
Young hero Nithin has scored some good hits of late, but he wants to solidify his position at the box office with some solid hit after A..Aa. And he has picked Rowdy Fellow director Krishna Chaitanya to do the same. Produced by Pawan Kalyan and presented by Trivikram, “Chal Mohan Ranga” teaser is released today.
It seems like this season is dealing with full of love-breakup-patch up kinds of stories. After Sumanth’s Malli Raava and Varun’s Tholiprema, it looks like this is another such love drama with a dose of romance and comedy. As Nitin says, “We met in the rainy season, started loving each other in winter and got broke up by Summer”, it is pretty clear about the content. As he says this, the joke comes from the comedian, ‘Are you both weather reporters, bro?’.
While the background score given by Thaman stands out in the crowd like he did a magic for Bhaagamathie and Tholiprema, other things seem to be usual for now. Both Nitin and Mega Akash are looking cute like in LIE, and we have to see what sort of magic Krishna Chaitanya has done inside the movie.
Also, we have to say, the title design animation with the line ‘everything is a sign’, looks pretty interesting.
Three Heroes, Two Targets, One Season!
After Sankranthi season, the biggest and entertaining season will be Summer where three Telugu stars are now getting ready to test their luck. While Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam is set for March 30th release, both Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya and Mahesh’s Bharat Anu Nenu are heading for an April 26th collision. You know, these three films are actually aiming at two targets for those heroes.
From a time, Ram Charan is not scoring those big hits and his contemporaries like Allu Arjun and Jr NTR raced into that 70 crores club. So for the first time, Rangasthalam is looking like a big film that has potential to enter that club if all goes well. And if that is the first target, the second target is to appease mass fans. Charan’s recent film Dhruva targeted A centres most of the time and B-C centre fans are waiting to see him in a mass avatar. We have to see if Sukumar’s creative carving will fulfil these two targets or not.
Coming to Allu Arjun, we have his Naa Peru Surya coming after two sensational hits like Sarrainodu and DJ Duvvada Jagannadham. Surprisingly both those movies got thumbs down from critics though they made 70+ crores collections. So, Bunny’s first target is to impress critics this time as audiences are anyway liking his movies. And his second target is to repeat 70+ crore collection as that hat-trick will make him most dependable mighty star in Tollywood. That’s a feat even the likes of Pawan and Mahesh failed to achieve for three consecutive films. We have to see what newcomer director Vakkantam Vamsi will do.
Mahesh has some debts to be repaid to his fans as his last two outings ended up a disaster. Along with director Koratala Siva, he’s getting ready to enthral as CM of Andhra Pradesh as his political fiction drama is coming up. The first target of this film is to score a big hit because that is badly needed at the moment. The second target will be to see how Koratala will maintain his winning streak, as he is emerging like another Rajamouli who doesn’t have a flop in his career.
Summer season is going to be next biggest entertaining period for Tollywood as these big stars along with other surprising films are readying their guns to blast on audiences.
Special Honor For Chiranjeevi & Mahesh
Megastar Chiranjeevi and Superstar Mahesh Babu will get a special honor by MAA (Movie Artistes’ Association) for their contribution to the association.
MAA President and actor Shivaji Raja said on record that two of the wings of MAA’s new building will be named after Chiranjeevi and Mahesh. He thanked the two stalwarts for giving their nod to take part in the MAA’s Silver Jubilee celebrations to be held in the US.
‘Chiranjeevi garu readily agreed to take part in the celebrations even though he is busy with Sye Raa. Mahesh also agreed to participate in the event despite his busy schedule. We can’t thank them enough for their invaluable contribution,’ Shivaji Raja said in a press meet.
The MAA President also thanked senior actors Nandamuri Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Mohan Babu and others for standing as the pillars of the association.

70% newcomers in Teja-Venky’s film
Apart from NTR’s biopic with Balakrishna, filmmaker Teja has been confirmed to direct Victory Venkatesh under the joint-production of Suresh Productions and Anil Sunkara 14 Reels Entertainments. Although the pooja ceremony of the film was finished long back, the director took out sometime to scout several newcomers for other important roles.
Finally, the principal photography of Teja-directorial will get started on 12th March and the first schedule of shoot is planned in Old City, Hyderabad.
Titled as ‘Aata Naade – Veta Naade’, this film will have senior beauty Shriya Saran as leading lady. Off late, the 35-year old Shriya Saran has widely become the one-go for most of the senior actors like Venkatesh, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, Arvind Swamy (Tamil) and Mohan Babu.
Given that the film will feature 70% of fresh faces, makers are sure going to save huge chunk of the film’s budget. Suresh Babu, who also produced Teja’s ‘Nene Raju Nene Manthri’ starring Rana Daggubati and Kajal Aggarwal, had cracked the deal to collaborate his brother Venkatesh with the maverick filmmaker.
Simultaneously, Teja is expected to work with Nandamuri Balakrishna on the much-anticipated biopic of Tollywood – ‘NTR’. And, Venkatesh will also be working on Telugu remake of super-hit Kollywood flick ‘Vikram-Vedha’.
Our MPs will resign on April 6: YS Jagan
After Pawan Kalyan, it’s YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy’s turn to escalate and fight for AP special category status. During his Prajasankalpa Yatra in Kaligiri town of Nellore district this evening, the opposition leader of state made a sensational and aggressive announcement that all the MPs of YSR Congress Party will submit their resignations if Centre is not going to give special status by 5th of April.
In one his tweets, Jagan Mohan Reddy reiterated that YSRCP will settle for nothing less than Special Category Status for Andhra Pradesh state. The declaration in Kaligiri meeting came after Jagan’s meeting his key party leaders on Monday.
‘YSR Congress Party MPs will continue to protest in the coming Parliament session from March 5th in New Delhi and if Centre offers no clarity on Special Status by April 5th (last day of session), all our Lok Sabha MPs will submit their resignations and return to state,’ declared Jagan by stating that Andhra’s interest is paramount and so, his fight for Special Status will continue till last breath.
Once Jagan Mohan made his party’s stand public, there has been several discussions, debates and comments on news channels and social media platforms. On other hand, YSRCP leaders are demanding the resignation for TDP MPs too. However, leaders of Telugu Desham Party are striking it off as a political move ahead of elections next year.
Will Tarun Bounce Back?
Tarun was one of the successful heroes who has inspired several youths. He had several hit films under his belt. However, that phase is passe. And he is now returning after a long gap with a youthful love story. Romance has been Tarun’s forte and the film’s promos are a bit interesting coupled with Tarun’s promotional tour in colleges. Apart from the wide release in USA (60 locations), the film also features noted face Oviya (Bigg Boss fame) as his female lead. All these things have together made his latest offering Idi Na Love Story to look up to it.
With the film hitting the marquee for this Valentines’ Day, Tarun is said to be pinning high hopes on the film. The other day at the film’s pre-release function too Tarun sounded very confident and look composed.
Amidst his track record, Idi Na Love Story is a like a now or never film for Tarun. Will Tarun bounce back?
