Call it a huge surprise. Bellamkonda Sreenivas’ ongoing film Saakshyam directed by Sriwass has earned a staggering Rs 8 Crore from its Hindi satellite rights.

Of late, the Hindi satellite rights for Telugu films have got huge demand. In addition to it, action films have great demand. Since Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Sriwass’ Saakshyam has Peter Hein as the action director, the film’s Hindi TV rights fetched 8 Crore.

This is a fancy deal. While Sreenivas’ last film directed by Boyapati Sreenu Jai Janaki Nayaka reportedly raked in 7.5 Crore from its Hindi TV rights, his latest Saakshaym got a notch higher as it touched 8 Crore mark.

Producer Abhishek, who scored success with Keshava, is now laughing all the way to bank by pocketing 8 Crore from the Hindi TV rights of Saakshyam.

Devi Sri Prasad is the of King of melodies and he proved it many times. Coming up with “Rangasthalam” now, the first single from the Ram Charan starrer proved that this music master is living up to his popularity again. Let’s have a look at the first song “Yentha Sakkagunnave” from this Sukumar directorial.

“Yeru Sangana kosam mattini tavvithe.. ekam ga tagilina lanke bindilaga.. entha sakkagunnave” is what the lyric reads as we observe that Chitti Babu is pouring his heart for Rama Lakshmi through a poetry. Needless to say, the song is a soothing melody with a little bit of folk touch. And soul-stirring string work in the background coupled with a light beat (rhythm) is simply haunting. DSP has put his heart out there yet again to deliver such a gem of a song. Also, he rendered the song himself, adding more vibe to the slow melody.

Meanwhile, we have to appreciate the lyrics written by Chandrabose that comprises of impressive old school Telugu words and lines. The song will make many Telugu film loves fly back in time as they get nostalgic with such beautiful writing.

In a short time, the song is going to win many hearts and going to get dancing on the tongues of all music lovers. It looks like the song will be a visual treat if the pictures on the lyrical video are anything to go by.

Summer 2018 is already very special for Mega fans as Ram Charan’s “Rangasthalam” and Allu Arjun’s “Naa Peru Surya” are gearing up to release in March and April respectively. Mega girl Niharika Konidela also plans to give a surprise to Telugu film buffs this summer.

After the failure of her debut film ‘Oka Manasu’, Niharika took a huge sabbatical before signing her second Telugu film, “Happy Wedding”. Happening production house UV Creations is presenting this youthful entertainer that is being bankrolled by Pocket Cinema. Struggling hero Sumanth Ashwin plays the male lead. The film’s shooting has almost been wrapped up and the post-production work is in full swing.

According to the latest update from makers, Happy Wedding will release worldwide in Summer 2018. Niharika is very confident of the film and she hopes to make up for the disappointing debut.  The brand of UV Creations is a big asset.

Back in August 2017, the makers of Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya have announced their release date as April 2018 after consulting all the stake holders including Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam.

Only after the confirmation that Rangasthalam would come on March 30, Bunny’s team has locked April 27 as its release date. Then, Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu was not in Summer race. However, post Spyder, the things have changed drastically in Mahesh’s camp.

Delay in shoot and Mahesh seeking more time for BAN’s release in order to erase the memory of Spyder in audiences have landed Bharat Ane Nenu in April release.

But this is not all. After Mahesh’s BAN was announced for April 27, naturally, Allu Arjun’s team is taken aback. Initially, the Mahesh’s team ‘covered’ on the controversy saying that they were not really aware of the NPS release on April 27.

In between, the release of Shankar and Rajinikanth’s 2.0 (sequel to Robot) have intensified the confusion. But at a time, when Allu Arjun’s team decided to come on April 26, a day advance to Mahesh’s BAN, many thought that the issue is settled and it’s announced after consultations.

But the fresh announcement of Mahesh’s BAN – made within minutes after the announcement of NPS – has left everyone shocked in industry as it coincides with Allu Arjun’s NPS. Though two biggies clash, it is always advantage for a film which releases first. Usually, this is the trade perception. So, in order to cash in on the first-come best-opening, Mahesh and his team jumped in to grab. Mahesh’s BAN too now arriving on April 26 thus clashing with Allu Arjun’s NPS.

Overall, it is unhealthy for the industry as well as to stars and their film’s producers.
