Ending the weeks of confusion over the clash of Allu Arjun film and Mahesh film, finally, the makers of Bunny’s Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India have advanced their film’s release by a day.

With this NPS would release on April 26, 2018 against to the earlier date of April 27. One of the film’s producer Bunny Vas has announced that NPS would arrive a day before BAN’s release.

Whereas Mahesh’s Bharat Ane Nenu is expected to hit the screens on April 27 as announced before.

Though both are releasing in a gap of a day, certainly, this is a clash in theatres. Since both are big stars in the industry and holds good number of brands in hand, this clash is one of the most awaited clash in trade, industry circuits.

It needs to be seen who’s going to come out flying colours.

For the sake of a movie, one can say anything and can project their characters do anything. But in reality, one needs to stop and think what exactly they are doing. Right now some films just find whatever they are doing is simply right and sadly it is Varun Tej’s happening flick “Tholiprema” that is indulging in such stuff.

Generally, we don’t look downside of our creativity, like we encourage racism from the roots by advertising more about fairness creams and by spreading an ideology that people with fair skin get better chances in love, life and anything. Now, Tholiprema makers have announced a contest to attract audiences by asking people to upload their videos in case if their first love is their life partner.

While this sounds good for those people who really got married to their first love, isn’t it a bit bad to the ones who broke from a relation and got married to someone else? To justify the title, again and again, it is sad to see ‘Tholiprema’ getting glorified this way. That makes the contest look like anything done for publicity. Love is love, whether it is first love or 23rd love, as long as both partners trust, believe and respect each other.

With the title Tholiprema just pulling youths and college-going audiences to theatres, it seems like makers have come up with this contest to attract family audiences now. But for many lovers who broke a couple of times from a relation and finally married to another loved one, this isn’t digesting. Tholi Prema is Pawan’s biggest hit, but that cannot be applied to his own life, isn’t it? So Varun’s Tholiprema makers should understand reel life should be limited to reel only.

Film Industry not only provides entertainment to the audience but also offer livelihood and employment to thousands of people who are working in it. Piracy is, however, becoming a grave threat to them. When the piracy makers are pirating the movie and uploading it on their websites on the release day itself, no doubt film industry is suffering hugely.

From producers to distributors, everyone who invested their blood and sweat in the film are getting immersed into losses with these acts. Talking about the same, writer Kona Venkat other day tweeted that we need an immediate intervention from government and tagged Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao, requesting him to take action against one particular website. He also posted a picture of the website’s screenshot as a proof.

Now, young hero Nikhil also reacted on piracy and gave a hint about another website which is also posting the piracy copies of latest movies online. He also posted a picture proof through a screenshot. Tagging his reply to Minister KTR, he reminded the authorities that their conventional methods to cease piracy have failed to block these specific websites.

Piracy is a crime and has become a life-threatening aspect of the film industry. We have to see if KTR will dive into action and initiates action against these websites.

Gone are the days where we can simply lift the scenes from other language movies and use them accordingly. Few directors like Rajamouli generally take the content and recreates it in their own way. But some like Trivikram are making a frame by frame copy of certain scenes. That is troubling now.

In the olden times, easily Tollywood has lifted scenes from foreign movies and replicated them. For example, in blockbuster Arundhati movie, we have this drum dance sequence where the leading lady hits drums with her saree pallu and makes sounds. The whole sequence is a direct lift from the Chinese film “The House Of Flying Daggers”. Back then, definitely neither producer Shyam Prasad Reddy nor director Kodi Ramakrishna would have taken any permission from the Chinese counterparts.

Cut to present, we have the whole story of Agnyaathavaasi blatantly lifted from Largo Winch movie. Not stopping there, Trivikram copied the whole of climax sequence, frame to frame, reproducing the same terrace scene with similar guns and swords fights, by recreating the same location. And French director Jerome Sally already clarified that there is no permission sought from the Telugu makers for copying that way.

Probably director would have thought about Arundhathi or his own other copied scenes and proceeded to Agnyaathavasi. But like the way Arundhati escaped by lifting such a major scene, now no latest films could escape. Because copyright laws got stronger and the whole world is watching every other neighbour.

Varun Tej’s “Tholi Prema” had an excellent hold on first Monday after a terrific two-day weekend. On Monday, the romantic drama raked in over 1.9 Cr share (75% of Day 1 on worth), and passed the Monday test with flying colors.

Trade experts predict the film to witness a big jump in collections on Tuesday because of the Maha Sivarathri holiday. Mid night shows have been planned today in good number of theatres, which will further help in raking moolah. Tholi Prema, being a love story, is likely to attract young audience to theatres in big number tomorrow as well since its Valentines Day.

The break even is approx. 23 Cr.

Blockbuster director Koratala Siva may not teamed up with Ram Charan for their own reasons, however, Koratala would soon be directing Allu Arjun. Going by highly-placed sources, after the release of his film with Mahesh – Bharat Ane Nenu, Koratala will collaborate with Bunny. It’s heard that Allu Arjun has already given his nod and a formal announcement would come in May.

Be it Mirchi or Srimanthudu or Janatha Garage, all the three have delivered much-needed hits to the respective stars. This made Koratala one of the most sought after directors in Telugu joining the likes of Rajamouli, Boyapati, Trivikram and etc.

After BAN, Koratala will take a break where he would fine tune the script he has for Allu Arjun. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya too would be released and Bunny too would get ready to work with Koratala.

Though Koratala was supposed to work with Charan, the film got shelved after its puja ceremony. While both Koratala and Charan openly maintaining that they’re ready to work with each other, looks like, it is taking time.

Forget becoming a star heroine, even grabbing good movie offers is not an easy task. Hard work and passion can get one or two projects in the initial days but maintaining that image is not a trick out of the sleeve. Hyderabadi beauty Poonam Kaur who has debuted into the industry years ago became a topic of discussion now.

The actress failed to establish her career in the industry as a heroine and started doing supporting roles. She played notable roles in movies like Souryam, Gaganam, Vinayakudu, Nagavalli, Attack, etc but haven’t carved a niche for herself. Last seen in Trisha’s horror movie Nayaki in 2016, whether Poonam is not getting offers or she is not okaying one is not known.

In the recent times, Poonam became a sensation on social media after she spoke about Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. By commenting on Pawan’s anti-fans, and teaching some philosophies on twitter, she’s very much in the news. And with some allegations leveled by a critic, she’s almost a prime-time topic for weeks. If such things happen, naturally our hype loving filmmakers approach such celebs with offers, but it seems like Poonam hasn’t gotten one.

Keep bagging movie offers aside, Poonam hasn’t even got any branding deals as well. All she gained are the interview offers from a couple of small YouTube channels and nothing more. One wonders why, but things are going like that.

Always there is buzz somewhere or the other that few ‘playboy’ heroes always love to spend some private time with their heroines. None is coming forward to talk about this like a #metoo thing because here both the parties are said to be getting benefited with such acts.

A well-known hero has gone to Bangkok recently to take part in the shooting of a film. And this heroine got huge craze with her debut film itself though she failed to live up to it later. As part of arrangements, producer of the film has booked rooms for all the cast and crew at the same 3-star hotel. But in no time, the hero and heroine moved to a 7-star hotel in Bangkok city.

Though the shooting completed on time, these two have stayed back in the hotel for a week more and the heroine shopped for almost 10 lakhs rupees and took extra 30 lakhs from the hero. Surprisingly the hero pushed this additional burden of 40 lakh which was spent for his pleasure to the producer’s account. Shocked by this happening, the producer started crying in front of his friends, but there is nothing much he could do.

If heroes are deriving their pleasure from heroines that too out of producer’s money, when will film budgets come down? If this is the situation of a medium budgeted hero, imagine what is happening with others, says a production manager.
