Shriya’s Marriage: A Shocking Angle Involved?
We have seen both Chay and Sam denying about being in a relationship till their parents fixed their engagement date. It looks like hottest senior in the arena, Shriya Saran is also following pretty same ideology. Here is a shocking angle involved in the latest gossip featuring her.
A couple of days back news has come out that this hour-glass beauty is likely to get hitched to her Russian boyfriend in March at Jaipur. But her mother, speaking to a leading media house, has claimed that there is no truth in that. However, a leading media house that originally published this gossip is yet to publish this denial news. Wonder why they didn’t do that yet?
As per some reports, a close friend of Shriya who happens to be head of that media agency was asked why he’s not publishing the condemnation said by Shriya’s mother? He’s said to have replied, “Wait till March end, you’ll know the truth”. Is he indicating that Shriya is really getting married but only denying the news such that her commitments won’t get affected is the question now.
Last year in August, Shriya went to the Maldives for a diving session and it’s not known whether she met this Russian beau there or they went there together for a date all the way from Bombay. But ever since the reports surfaced that Shriya is in Russia to talk to her in-laws, she’s not hyperactive on social media where she spends most of her life. No wonder, we might hear some sort of shocking news soon.
Good Samaritan Vinayak Gives Cheque Again?
Sai Dharam Tej’s latest release ‘Inttelligent’ ended up with a flop talk and the film is showing no signs of recovery. The movie utterly failed at the box office due to the bad story and routine screenplay, and the distributors are likely to suffer heavy losses.
Almost all the cast and crew have pinned their hopes on this VV Vinayak directorial but it turned out to be a disaster in the end. For that reason, compassionate person, Vinayak jumped into the situation to take stock of the producer’s position. Reports are coming that the director has come forward to return a part of his remuneration. Guess how much?
Earlier when Vinayak introduced Akkineni Akhil to the industry as a hero with ‘Akhil’, that movie also became a disaster at the box office. Made with a budget of 40 crores, theatrical revenues of Akhil garnered just 17 crores which made the distributors face a huge loss. At that time, kind-hearted director Vinayak came to the rescue by giving back some money to the distributors involved in the movie. And now we hear that out of the 9 crores remuneration he has taken, he is giving 5 crores to producer C Kalyan to take care of Inttelligent losses.
Being a director, Vinayak is thinking about the producers who bankroll the film and is giving back his cheques when the movie turned out to flops. Can our heroes do the same? Whatever it may be, Vinayak is a good Samaritan, say trade circuits.
#Nithin25: Names Of Brands Only For Hype
From the last couple of days, Nithin’s 25th movie “Chal Mohan Ranga” is trending on the web with Pawan Kalyan’s film production company tweeting about it. And there are stories everywhere that Trivikram handpicked this director for Nitin, Pawan Kalyan handpicked a story and budget for Nitin and so on. What’s the truth in them?
Buzz has that Nitin’s film is entirely conceptualized, written and directed by lyric writer Krishna Chaitanya. Going by this promotional line, the film won’t fetch good hype because the director’s debut film Rowdy Fellow with Nara Rohit was a disaster. And then, Nitin is also not on a hit scoring spree with his previous flick LIE being a disaster of epic proportions, though his A..Aa is a good hit. At this moment, this film needs to huge hype to get amazing openings.
Naturally, Nitin would have used either Pawan Kalyan’s song or would have invited him to audio launch, but this time he made him a producer of the movie. And then he made Trivikram the presenter of the film, says a source. With Trivikram also a patronizer of Krishna Chaitanya’s lyrics, he naturally agreed with the idea. But the reality is that neither Pawan nor Trivikram got nothing to do with the movie, except being brands that could bring hype.
What should be really worrying is that, if big names like Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram are used, people will naturally develop high expectations on the content. Any slight mismatch will lead to disastrous result. Though some reports are claiming that it is a science-fiction film, insiders revealed that the film is a simple love story with some good moments.
Megastar Or No Megastar? Here Is A Talk
One thing is for sure, some films get unanimous applause not just because they are too good but also because the opposition is too bad. That’s what cine experts say when it comes to the super success of some films like Chalo and also Tholiprema. But also, they have other factors that merit a talk.
The big debate is happening in film circles as to how much Megastar Chiru helped Chalo and how it worked for Tholiprema even though there are no ‘mega’ shouts in the promotions. We have to agree with one fact that both these two films are running successfully at theatres not because they are backed by mega tags, but they have content that impressed and content that will work. However, the openings of these films are something for us to discuss.
With Megastar Chiru gracing Chalo pre-release event, no doubt, the film witnessed huge footfalls on day one. Unmistakably, the presence of megastar impacted the reach of this film. But after the first show, it’s the mouth talk that added to more audiences flooding theatres.
Cut to Tholiprema, Varun Tej never bragged about this mega backdrop neither any mega hero (or any star hero) attended an event to beat a ‘dappu’ in favour of the film. Varun clearly mentioned to the audiences to watch the film only if they liked the content. Unquestionably, for being a mega family hero, he has that readymade set of fans, but he need not talk about them all the time. Those fans also watch films only if the content is interesting. And with Tholiprema, they got impressed.
So whether Megastar comes to a pre-release event or a mega family hero doesn’t talk about his mega backing, the only thing that works is content.
2 Young Heroes Rejected Manjula?
Superstar Mahesh Babu’s sister Manjula is all kicked about her directorial debut, ‘Manasuku Nachindi’, which will release worldwide this week. Despite having a powerful background, she had to toil hard to materialize her debut film.
We hear that Manjula had earlier narrated the script to young heroes Raj Tarun and Sudheer Babu, in that order, but both rejected it. Hero Sundeep Kishan, wasn’t her first choice, but she reportedly had to approach him after the two heroes she thought would be best fit, rejected her story.
During the promotional interviews, Manjula made vert tall claims about her film. Its natural for any director to have special love for their debut film but Manjula angered a section of film buffs when she allegedly said that only the people who don’t have heart, wouldn’t like her film. Was it confidence or overconfidence? Anyhow, we will all find it out in just a couple of days.
