Right from the beginning of this modern era, this happened many times in Tollywood where filmmakers inspire from the same foreign film and write their own story basing on it. And if such inspired Telugu films clash, sometimes only one of them will succeed.

There are some American romantic comedies like ‘When Harry met Sally’ that inspired Telugu films a lot. A couple meets in different timelines as their life progresses and breaks up twice but ends up in a relation for the third time. Taking that concept, recently we have seen “Malli Raava” movie and then there is Varun Tej’s “Tholiprema” as well. Buzz has that even Manjula’s Manasuku Nachindi is also of similar them.

But what is pretty surprising is that Trivkram’s story written by Nitin’s 25th film “Chal Mohan Ranga” is also the same, a source reveals. For that reason, Nitin is said to be little worried because Tholiprema is a grand success and people may feel it difficult to watch similar stuff again on the silver screen that too just a month later.

Going by the visuals and also the shooting locations, it looks like Nitin and Mega Akash will be seen in a love story that happens in India and USA, while it is like India and London, UK in Tholiprema. Let’s see what happens.

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha have worked together in a couple of films earlier but fans want to see more of them together. Curiosity levels are high as to know which director will bring the star couple together for the first time after their wedding.

Mahesh Babu’s most anticipated Bharat Ane Nenu is progressing at a breakneck speed and is likely to complete its entire shoot by March. The makers of the film are planning to release the film on April 27 of this year as announced earlier.

Though, Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya too slated for release on April 27 and was announced before, the makers of the BAN are also keen to arrive on 27th of April without any change. Though both the producers had announced dates earlier, many thought that at least one would postpone their film giving wat to others. Buzz had it that the producers Danayya and Bunny Vas would sort it out amicably through talks. But the latest reports have it that both are unlikely to postpone their film.

With two big stars are clashing on April 27, naturally, trade is betting big. While Bharat Ane Nenu is being directed by Koratala Siva and marks the reunion of Koratala Siva and showcases Mahesh as the Chief Minister, Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India is the directorial debut of Vakkantham Vamsi featuring Arjun as an army officer. Fans of both the stars are all set to lock horns as well.

Like most biggies of the recent times, Akshay Kumar’s “Padman”, the film that has won rave reviews upon its worldwide release on Feb 9, also fallen prey to the plagiarism controversy. A budding writer named Ripu Daman Jaiswal has accused the makers of ‘PadMan’ of copying his story and lodged a police complaint.

Padman is based on the life of Tamil Nadu-based Arunachalam Muruganantham, who had made low cost sanitary pads for rural women.

Jaiswal alleged, “I had researched on the work of Muruganantham, written the script and registered it with Screen Writer Association before sending it to two big production houses – Karan johar’s Dharma productions and Phantom Films. Just ten days after I had sent my script, an announcement was made by Akshay Kumar’s wife Twinkle Khanna that she is producing a film based on Muruganantham’s life’.

‘I however waited till the film’s release to find out whether they copied my script or was it just a coincidence. Now, as I have seen the film, I can conclude that they copied my script as most of the scenes that I had written featured in the film. They even lifted the fictional characters I had created and also copied some of my dialogues as it is,’ he alleged.

The budding writer said that he would take the matter to court and fight a battle against the makers of Padman for allegedly plagiarizing his work.
