Attacking Pawan, But Helping Agnyaathavaasi
Apparently, the mood and hype in Telugu states at the moment is like all the roads leading to Pawan Kalyan only. While political analysts are feeling that all these brickbats blasted on the Janasena president are tarnishing his image, cinema lovers are finding a silver lining in this happening, however.
Till a couple of days back, the issue of copyright allegations from a Bollywood producer as kept Pawan Kalyan’s latest movie Agnyaathavaasi in the limelight. Despite the film’s trailer unreleased and no official promotions happening, this single of piece of news went like a TV serial and created super hungama. Then we have Mahesh Kathi shooting some logical and also illogical punches all the time on Pawan Kalyan, thereby giving free publicity to Agnyaathavaasi indirectly.
And then, with this critic dragging Poonam Kaur into the issue, it only added more food to people discussing the film. At the same time, with a couple of TV channels intensifying their debate against PK through MK, some channels started exclusive telecasts of Agnyaathavaasi related cake-cuttings and car-rallies that are taking place in the USA and other European countries.
Even if Trivikram and his producer Radha Krishna spent a hefty amount, they wouldn’t have got such an enormous publicity. While the outer may look like all these comments and happenings attacking Pawan, on the inner side they are helping build up Agnyaathavaasi hype big time.
During last Sankranthi, we have both Khaidi No. 150 and Gautamiputra Satakarni carrying the same buzz, but now with all these happenings, Agnyaathavaasi is walking away with more weight than Jai Simha and other releases.
Govt’s U-Turn on National Anthem in Theatres
The Centre on Monday took a surprising U-turn from its stance of playing the National Anthem before the start of a movie in cinema halls across the country. The Union govt. told the Supreme Court that it is not mandatory to play National Anthem in theatres anymore.
In an affidavit submitted to the Apex court on Monday, the Centre requested the Court to modify its order that makes National Anthem mandatory in cinema halls. The government further informed the court that an Inter-Ministerial Committee has been set up to frame new guidelines on the issue, and that the final decision will be based on the committee’s recommendations. Six months time was sought by the Centre for completing the entire exercise.
The Centre has now made its stance clear in response to the Supreme Court’s earlier order dated, October 23, 2017. The Supreme Court then said that standing for National Anthem in theatres was not a measure of patriotism, and asked the Centre to come up with a response in that regard by January 2018.
Jagan Steals KCR’s Scheme That Made Him CM
Plagiarism is not just confined to movies. These days it is rampant in politics too. Stealing ideas, statements, renaming the schemes and boasting it as a new scheme has become a fad in politics. And YS Jagan stands in the front row when it comes to stealing such ideas.
The latest is that Jagan Mohan Reddy has conveniently stolen KCR’s 2014 poll promise of free education from KG to PG. Apart from the strong Telangana sentiment, the free education promise has influenced many voters in Telangana and played a crucial role behind making KCR as the CM. Now, Jagan is promising the same to people of AP.
Strangely, revenue-surplus Telangana with cash cow Hyderabad as capital, couldn’t make the promise a reality for various reasons. Since it is practically not viable, even KCR has shifted his focus on to 24 hours power supply and free power supply to farmers of all sections.
Whereas the successor state of Andhra Pradesh is mired in financial troubles. AP is struggling to generate revenue and is already battling with debts. Despite knowing its bad state, Jagan has announced an unrealistic promise of free education only to lure voters and to gain power.
Once again Jagan has proved his greed for power and left the State’s benefits to the last.

The commonalities between Pawan Kalyan and Kamal Haasan are that both are huge stars in their respective states, currently aspiring to bring a revolution in politics, don’t follow the conventional path in doing things etc. As both are now aiming to take active plunge in politics, they apparently have devised a similar strategy to stay a part of films.
As Pawan wouldn’t get much time to act in films after he becomes active in politics, he has plans of producing films on his banner, PK Creative Works. He is already bankrolling a Nithin-starrer and plans are underway to make his banner one of the most active production house in near future.
Treading the similar path, Kamal Haasan is also planning to produce films starring other heroes.
