‘Ready To Play Amitabh Bachchan’s Father’
Mumbai: Actor Anil Kapoor, rumoured to be playing on-screen father to Salman Khan in “Race 3”, says he is even open to playing dad to megastar Amitabh Bachchan in a film.Anil, who steered clear from commenting on the buzz, has featured in all instalments of the “Race” series.Asked if he is playing father to Salman in the franchise’s third project, he said: “I don’t have a problem with it. I am also ready to play the role of Amitji’s (Amitabh Bachchan) father as I am an actor.
“I have signed a non-disclosure clause, so I won’t be able to give much details of the film, but all I can say is that I have been a part of both ‘Race’ films earlier.”But the story of ‘Race 3’ is very different and having said that, I think all elements of previous part of ‘Race’ are intact in this film as well for the audience’s entertainment.”
Anil has just finished shooting his portions for “Fanne Khan”, which also features his “Taal” co-star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.”I always had good relations with everybody. And I had a great experience working with Aishwarya in this film too. I finished shooting of my portions for the film (on Friday) and now the shoot of ‘Fanne Khan’ has been completed from my side.
“I think the shooting of 2-3 songs is remaining,” he added on the sidelines of an event where he hosted a screening of Amazon Prime Originals series “The Grand Tour” here on Saturday night.The event was attended by Bollywod celebrities Amit Sadh, Saiyami Kher, Natasha Suri, Atul Kasbekar, Ronit Roy, Darshan kumar, Armaan Malik, Neha Sharma, RJ Malishka, Angad Bedi, Gaurav Kapoor, Pooja Hegde and Sapna Pabbi.

Mega hero Allu Sirish is yet to score big at the box office, while his other cousins are just rocking the show. While the senior Allu already became a leading star hero with back to back commercial blockbusters in the kitty, this junior is on the way to prove his worth.
Coming up with “Okka Kshanam” that is directed by VI Anand, Sirish is testing his luck on December 28th. Like we said it already, Telangana Government is leaving no stone unturned to make sure that the “Prapancha Telugu Mahasabhalu” that will be held in Hyderabad from 15th December will be a blockbuster hit.To promote Telangana culture, history and literature at this event, CM KCR actually gave the idea of making a 40-minute documentary with 3 songs in it, which will be directed by noted filmmakers from Tollywood. As a budget of 3 crores is being spent on this documentary, they have roped in Harish Shankar, Vamsi Paidipally and Nandini Reddy to direct a song each.
In the song being directed by Vamsi, popular hero Vijay Devarakonda and heroine Mehreen Pirzada will feature, and they are seen playing Holi in front of Hyderabad’s Qutub Shahi monuments. Seems like they will explain the world about the unity in diversity and secularistic feature of Hyderabad.
At the same time, Nandini Reddy is carving out a Bathukamma song, in which Regina Cassandra is playing the lead girl. For the same song, Nandini’s last film heroine Malavika Nair also flew from Kerala to sing and dance. With film stars and directors getting hands-on for this documentary, naturally, eagerness is growing to watch it at the earliest.
BJP Hopes For A Turnaround After Jan’19
Bharatiya Janata Party has not been able to make much impact on Telangana politics as of now, as the party is yet to pick up strength despite best efforts, partially due to lack of cadre strength in the entire Telangana and effective leadership.Yet, for strange reasons, the Telangana party leaders are predicting that it would have a turnaround in its fortunes after January 2019.
According to BJP State president Dr K Laxman, there would be significant changes in Telangana politics after January, 2019 and the BJP would play a crucial role.Laxman said the results of the Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh elections would influence the politics in Telangana.The people were looking for an alternative to the ruling TRS and leaders and workers from other parties were joining BJP.“Leaders of different parties from different districts are in touch with BJP and a clear picture would come out after January. People are also looking towards BJP, which is fighting on their issues,” Laxman said.
With BJP national president Amit Shah scheduled to visit Telangana for three days in January, 2018, Laxman said the party was preparing a report on the party’s condition in 119 Assembly and 17 Lok Sabha constituencies of the State.The three-day meeting, chaired by Shah, is aimed at chalking out an action plan to bring BJP into power in Telangana in next Assembly elections. Prime Minister Narendra Modi would also tour the State extensively in February 2018.
The party also plans to hold a series of agitations, Laxman said, adding that public meetings such as Praja Poru, Dalit Darbars, BC Sangraman and Girijana Garjana will be organised to address the issues of SCs, STs and BCs.

Telangana Congress leader A Revanth Reddy made a stunning revelation against State IT Minister KT Rama Rao and his family at the birthday celebration of AICC President Sonia Gandhi at party office Gandhi Bhavan.
Revanth claimed he had the evidences that KTR’s father in law Pakala Harinath Rao got government job by submitting fake caste certificate of the ST community. Rao retired as District Forest Officer from state Forest department and enjoying pension for the last 10 years.
The Congress leader sought to know whether KTR’s in laws belonged to Schedule Tribe community. He wanted KTR wife Shailima should also clarify the particular issue.Revanth also fired a salvo at Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. He listed out the KCR government’s failures in the meeting conducted.
