Virat, Anushka To Marry Next Week In Italy?
December 12. That’s when Anushka Sharma will tie the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Indian skipper Virat Kohli in Italy, if reports are anything to go by.
The reason we are stressing upon the date of the wedding is because the actress shares a very special connection with it.Well, it was on this day nine years ago that Anushka stepped into the world of films with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi that starred Shah Rukh Khan opposite her. December 12, 2008.
Yes, that’s when the Aditya Chopra film had hit the screens before Anushka haule haule seeped into our hearts to rule them forever.Interestingly, one of the initial scenes of the film is a marriage scene between the lead couple.
Anushka’s character of Taani helplessly marries Surinder Sahni (Shah Rukh Khan), a much older and old-fashioned man from Amritsar. She does that for the sake of her father, who is on deathbed and fears that Taani will be left alone in the world.
Reality, however, is far cry. Anushka has been dating India’s most loved cricketer Virat Kohli for the last four years and has been much vocal about her love affair with him.
The two had met on the sets of a shampoo commercial and felt an instant spark between each other. And in no time, they had started dating each other.
Vishal submits petition to CEO, tweets to President, PM
Chennai: Actor Vishal Krishna on Wednesday met the Chief Electoral Officer of Tamil Nadu and submitted a petition to review his nomination papers filed for the December 21 by-election for the Radhakrishnan Nagar Assembly constituency.
He also tweeted to President Ramnath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and brought his plight to their notice.
Vishal, as he is popularly known, met Rajesh Lakhoni, the Chief Electoral Officer, and gave a petition to review the decision of the Returning Officer for Radhakrishnan Nagar who rejected his nomination papers.On Wednesday night, the Returning Officer rejected Vishal’s nomination papers saying two of the proposer’s signatures were forged.
In his tweet to Kovind and Modi the actor said: “To the people, I look upto, Hon @narendramodi & Hon @rashtrapatibhvn I am Vishal,I hope u r aware of wats happening in the RK Nagar Election process in Chennai.”My nomination was accepted & later rejected. Totally unfair. I bring this to your notice & I hope justice prevails.”
He also tweeted: “5th Dec 2016, Amma died, 5th Dec, 2017, Democracy died… RIPDemocracy.”In Tamil Nadu, late Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa is referred to as Amma.
Vishal also said he was consulting legal experts. He said the Returning Officer had cleared his nomination and later disqualified him.According to Vishal, the Returning Officer was getting up from his seat and going out to speak to somebody on the phone.
Vishal said the rejection of his nomination was preplanned and the two proposers (Sumathi and Deepan) were threatened.
“The Returning Officer should be transferred,” said VCK leader Thol Thirumavalan.
As per law, a candidate has to be proposed by 10 persons.
On Tuesday, the Returning Officer had first rejected Vishal’s nomination forcing the actor to protest on the road. Subsequently Vishal submitted a recorded conversation with a person named Velu, said to be relative of a woman who had proposed his candidature.
As per the phone recording, Velu told Vishal that the woman was threatened to give a letter to the poll body stating that she did not sign the nomination form.
Later, after meeting the Election Commission, Vishal told the media: “My nomination has been accepted. I thank the Election Commission. The Returning Officer has done what has to be done. The audio recording that you all heard is true.”
But late on Tuesday night, the Returning Officer announced the rejection of Vishal’s nomination after two persons who had signed the papers said their signatures were forged.

Pawan categorically chose his words and said he doesn’t know Lokesh’s talent and added that Chandrababu has probably seen the ability of Lokesh. He quickly added that his father is no Chief Minister and he is son of a police man who started from a constable to assistant super-indent.
Pawan understood how his words would be projected against Lokesh and hence quickly covered saying that he was just referring only to his party’s ideology but not about any individuals.

Mahanati Video : Epic in the Making
Savitri’s biopic Mahanati title logo has been unveiled in an interesting manner through a magical box a la Priyadarshini in Maya bazar. The title logo is simple and plain. The makers state that it is an epic in the making and ask the audiences to be part of the history.
Directed by Nag Ashwin, Keerthy Suresh is playing the title role as Savitri while Dulquer Salman will be seen as Gemini Ganesan. The film has an assembly of talented actors in the cast including Mohan Babu, Samantha, Vijay Devarakonda and others.
Produced by Vyjayanthi Films, Savitri is all set for grand release on March 29th coinciding with Ram And Sukumar’s Rangasthalam.
Nag On Nandi: We Got More Than Oscar
Ever since the Nandi Awards are announced by Andhra Pradesh government for three consecutive years, there has been a huge debate about the winners and losers. With some bigwigs criticising the jury’s decisions, it became a huge controversy.
Among one of genuine criticism is none other than “Manam” missing out Best Feature Film trophy from the Nandi Awards committee. While the jury members opined that the film has reincarnation theme which cannot be considered for awards, celebs like Bandla Ganesh and Bunny Vasu criticised the decision.
However, it is quite surprising to see Nagarjuna and the whole Akkineni gang staying silent on it. Finally, he responded over that, when a journo asked about at a press conference.
Nag asserted, “Manam is a great memory as it happens to be the last film of Nanna garu. People have awarded their hearts for the film and that is more than Oscars for us. So we don’t need any other awards”.
After listening to Nag’s words, it seems like the idea of keeping the lines, “From the makers of Manam, to whom people awarded their hearts” in the trailer is an intentional jibe taken a Nandi Awards.
Akhil, That Magic Ingredient Is Missing
After going through those lovely conversations exchanged between Nagarjuna Akkineni and his younger son Akhil on Twitter, many felt that the song they are actually releasing is going to break the internet.
So with Nagarjuna releasing the video of the song finally today, what is it like? Is it really addictive or routine?
In fact, we have to say that the song hasn’t lived up to the expectations raised by Nagarjuna on this project. Pointing a specific reason wouldn’t be possible, but one can say that the magic ingredient is missing in it somehow.
After Anup delivered some melodious and soul-stirring albums like Ishq and Manam for this director, somehow this tune is not sounding of that calibre. At the same time, though Akhil danced well, it looked quite routine. Newcomer heroine Kalyani is looking very pretty, but that ease seems to be missing. At the same time, the white theme of the song hasn’t really connected.
Whether all these reasons may justify the missing ingredient or not, but that magic is really missing. What do you say, guys? Do you agree?
