Senior actress Nagma has at last responded to the rumors of Raai Laxmi’s upcoming bold film ‘Julie 2’ being based on her real life.

Pahlaj Nihalani, the former CBFC Chairman and the producer of ‘Julie 2′, has recently managed to evoke interest on the film by claiming that it is based on a popular South heroine’s real life. Although he didn’t reveal the actress’ name, he gave enough clues which allegedly pointed all fingers towards Nagma. As rumors have started spreading like wildfire on social media that Julie 2 is based on her life, Nagma has finally responded.

She called it a cheap publicity gimmick of makers, and said that they might have made such claims in order to create hype for their film. She further said that it would be unfair to confront the makers at this point of time as the film hasn’t been released yet. She said that in the wake of rumors connecting her name with the film, she has decided to watch Julie 2, and that she would take an appropriate action only after that.

Buzz is that Julie 2 makers had deliberately revealed the Nagma connection just a few days ahead of release so that she couldn’t take any legal step, and free, albeit cheap, publicity is a bonus.

Thala Ajith is equated to Pawan Kalyan of Kollywood for the unconventional decisions he takes. No star hero would do four consecutive films under the same director, especially after facing a disaster in their latest attempt, but then he is Thala Ajith!

An official announcement on Ajith’s new film has come out, and unsurprisingly, the director is Siva only. The duo had earlier teamed up for Veeram, Vedalam and most recently Vivegam. While the first two films were box office hits, Vivegam became a massive disaster. Ajith however has kept faith in Siva, and gave him another chance, much to the alleged disappointment of his fans.

By naming the film, ‘Viswasam’, the ‘V’ letter sentiment has been retained for Ajith-Siva combo’s fourth film as well. The producers of Vivegam will bankroll this film as well. The entire technical team of Vivegam except the music director has been retained for Viswasam. Yuvan Shankar Raja is expected to replace Anirudh.

Unlike Vivegam, Viswasam is said to be a complete family entertainer with substantial mass elements and humor. The producer has announced that the film will release for Diwali 2018.

Director Sukumar is not charging any fee to the makers of Rangasthalam. Instead, he has been offered the theatrical rights of the US. Talk is that this has fetched a fancy rate of Rs 9.5 Crore.

Considering that Ram Charan’s last film Dhruva surpassed 1 Million USD making it first for the hero, Rangasthalam rights got good rate. Sukumar has always had great market in the US. All those who have been expecting a big announcement from Superstar Rajinikanth on the eve of his birthday, December 12, regarding his political entry, will have to wait for some more time as the senior actor is still keeping his cards very close to his chest.

On Wednesday, when Rajini was asked by media at Chennai airport, he said that he was in ‘no hurry’ and that he would meet his fans once again after his birthday.

While interacting with his fans from 15 districts of Tamil Nadu in May this year, the 66-year-old said he would meet fans from the remaining 17 districts in September or October, and he called his fans to be ready for an upcoming war.

Based on his statement, and also from the revelations of people considered close to the actor, including his brother, it was expected that Rajini will announce his new political party on the eve of his birthday. But, no such thing is going to happen as the superstar himself gave an update on the proceedings regarding his political entry.

Comedy king Allari Naresh, who has been struggling to score a hit since ‘Sudigadu’, his career biggest hit, happened in 2012, is getting ready to revive his career with a sequel to that film.

Sudigadu is the Telugu remake of super hit Tamil film, “Thamizh Padam”. The makers of the Tamil film are currently making a sequel titled, “Thamizh Padam 2”. We has exclusively learnt from our sources that Naresh and director Bheemaneni Sreenivas have acquired the remake rights of the sequel as well, and they are planning to start the shooting of “Sudagadu 2” from January 2018.

Interestingly, the remake rights have been acquired notwithstanding the result of the Tamil sequel, which is yet to be released. It seems Naresh and Bheemanani are relying on the ‘Sudigadu’ brand to recreate the magic. Pre-production work for the sequel is currently in progress.
