We have already reported that hit director Maruthi, fresh from the success of ‘Mahanubhavudu’, will direct Akkineni Naga Chaitanya in his next project. Now, here is the exclusive information regarding the film’s launch.

Our sources have informed Gulte that Chaitu-Maruthi film will be officially launched this Saturday. Pooja ceremony will be held in the presence of film’s main cast and crew. Regular shooting will commence sometime later.

S Radha Krishna of Harika Hassine Creations will bankroll this film. He is producing a non-Trivikram directorial after a long time.

The film is tentatively titled ‘Sailaja Reddy Alludu’. Both Ramya Krishna and Sridevi are reportedly in talks to essay the character of Sailaja Reddy. Our sources revealed that the film will have Maruthi-mark entertainment and also substantial emotional quotient. Some unconfirmed reports say that Samantha might play the leading lady.

Chaitu meanwhile is busy shooting for Chandoo Mondeti’s ‘Savyasachi’, also starring Madhavan and Nidhi Aggerwal.

Tollywood hero Sudheer Babu said that women in Hyderabad BJP MLA Raja’s house should spit on him. The actor has got this much angry after watching a video, which he shared on his Twitter page as well, where Raja was seen making heinous comments against women belonging to film industry.

In the video, Raja was seen indulged in a discussion live on TV. When a journalist asks him whether he supports the comments made by a fellow BJP MP that ‘some women change husbands daily’, the Hyderabad politician replies that he accepts it. Appallingly, the BJP MLA stuck to his derogatory claims even when the journalist asked him doesn’t he feel making scathing remarks against certain women! The discussion was happening over the Padmavati controversy, and the alleged comments made and threats issued by some BJP leaders against Deepika Padukone.

Sudheer Babu might be so disgusted and angry at the BJP leader’s comments against film industry women that he wished women to spit on him. “#RajaSingh shame on you. That’s the image u have about women. Women in your house should spit on you,” he tweeted.

After dilly-dallying for long, mass maharaja Ravi Teja has finally signed a new film.

A while ago Gulte has broken the news that ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ fame Kalyan Krishna was in discussions with Ravi Teja for his next film. Now, our sources have confirmed that the project has been materialized. Impressed by his characterization and the final narration, Ravi Teja has signed Kalyan Krishna’s film. This could be his immediate next project after ‘Touch Chesi Choodu’.

Before this, Ravi Teja was on the verge of signing the remake of Tamil film, ‘Bogan’. He however backed out of the remake at the eleventh hour. Now, he is doing Kalyan Krishna’s film for the same producers who were supposed to bankroll Bogan remake. An official announcement will be made very soon.

The pre-production work is currently in progress. It is said to be a complete village-based entertainer, on the lines of Soggade Chinni Nayana. Some reports suggest that Kalyan Krishna has developed the Bangarraju character from Soggade.. with the plan of making it as a prequel, but since Nag didn’t show interest to do the film, he has set up the same project with Ravi Teja.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that Ravi Teja’s next film, ‘Touch Chesi Choodu’ could join Sankranthi 2018 race.

It is known that milky beauty Tamanna is pairing up with Nandamuri Kalyan Ram in an upcoming romantic entertainer directed by Jayendra. The makers have released a still from a montage song in the film, and looks quite lovely.

Actress Nidhhi Agerwal, who made her Bollywood debut with “Munna Michael” earlier this year, says she will be seen as an innocent and independent girl in her upcoming Telugu film “Savyasachi”.

“‘Savyasachi’ is an action romantic film and I’m getting to work with some very nice people. I play the role of a simple girl who’s very innocent and independent,” Nidhhi said in a statement.

“So, it’s not so glamorous like ‘Munna Michael’. It’s fun, actually, to play a contrasting role. The Telugu industry and their scripts are extremely nice. I’ve noticed that Hindi films do well in the north, but they don’t do that well in the south. But, I want everything! I want the north and the south,” she added.

“Savyasachi”, which also stars R. Madhavan and Naga Chaitanya, has been directed by Chandoo Mondeti.Niddhi, who comes from a non-filmy background, says she had “a lot of struggle” becoming an actress.

“But, I think that if you have a difficult dream then there will be struggle. In my head, I was prepared that the journey is going to be very difficult, but it is what I want. During difficult times, I never complain because it will be there and I know that.

“I accepted that it would be very difficult to become an actor and it’s even tougher once you become an actor. When you’re in the process of becoming an actor, you think that you just need to get that one film. But once you get that one film, the stress increases. So yes, a lot of struggle, a lot of loneliness sometimes self-doubt also,” she said.
