Naga Chaitanya Akkineni is back to work as the shoot of his new film, “Savyasachi” commenced today in Hyderabad. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti of “Karthikeya” and “Premam” fame, the action thriller is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.

Actress Nidhhi Agerwal is making her Telugu cinema debut with the film. Tamil hero Madhavan is essaying a crucial role. MM Keeravani scores music. Also starring Rao Ramesh, Vennela Kishore and Satya in key roles, the film has a unique story line, says Chandoo.

Savyasachi is said to be the highest budgeted film in Chaitu’s career, and that there will be some innovative action sequences in it.

Ace comedian turned hero Sunil’s dry patch is reportedly getting worse. After delivering a spate of unsuccessful films, he has now lost out a potential remake.

Sunil was in talks with producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad of Nani’s “Gentleman” fame to act in the Telugu remake of super hit Tamil film, “Sathuranga Vettai”. The 2014 Tamil-language heist-thriller film received positive reviews and eventually became a hit box office. Prasad acquired the remake rights and wanted to rope in Sunil for lead role.

Latest reports however suggest that the project has been shelved following a disagreement between Sunil and the producer over script. The depleted market of Sunil is being said as another reason. Prasad is now said to be looking for an alternative for Sunil.

The comedian-turned-hero is quite unfortunate to have miss two proven subjects.

NTR’s film will have this particular scene, that particular day, that leader, this actor and those incidents- where did anyone get this information from? Ever since the topic of legendary actor and politician NT Rama Rao has taken the minds of Tollywood filmmakers, it gave scope to many speculations.

Already Balayya’s NTR, Ram Gopal Varma’s NTR and Kethireddy’s Veeragrandham are being made as biopic movies of NT Ramarao. Now another producer Tummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana other day announced that he’s also getting ready to make another NTR biopic. And guess what, storylines of these films are being speculated big time.

When it comes to Balayya’s NTR, they say that the day Indira Gandhi asked PV Narasimha Rao about NTR will be the opening scene of the film. And then, the day VP Singh sworn-in as Prime Minister with NTR’s support will be the last scene. Who would anyway reveal what is really there in that film? Will Balayya share? Will Teja reveal? Or will the producers release a pdf of story and scenes?

Looks like even media is also going crazy, churning stories related to NTR as storylines of NTR’s Biopic films and making hullaballoo about it. Otherwise, these story leaks make no sense.

Before the release of Garudavega, actually, the whole of promotions are focused in a way on Sunny Leone only. Her item number for the film was promoted aggressively by the makers. But in the end, the result is something different.

Neither the song brought any kick to the masses nor did it add some value to the content, if we have to say when it comes to the song ‘Dio Dio’ that featured Sunny. While her glamorous treat is nothing new to the audiences, the song looked like a stumbling block to the flow of film in second half.

This once again proved that if the content is pulsating and engaging, then audiences won’t care if the item song has Sunny Leone in it. Also, we are hearing that it is Rajasekhar who forced the idea of bringing in this starlet for an item number, such that film would get attention. Of course, we can understand that he’s worried about the result and hence such decisions.

But director Praveen Sattaru was completely adamant to keep such a song, but still, he went with Rajasekhar’s decision. In the end, Sunny’s craze hasn’t helped the film, but content worked out big time.
