The police have solved the mystery of robbery in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. The thief was none other than one of the trusted servants in the house.

It is almost impossible for an outsider to enter Megastar’s house, which obviously has very high security, and rob. Thinking in that angle, police detained one of the servants in the house, Chennayya on the pretext of suspicion. During the interrogation, he has reportedly confessed to have stolen a whopping Rs 16 lakhs over the past several months.

Chennayya has been working in Chiru’s house for ten years. He knows the intricate details of where the the money is kept in the house and that how he can steal it without getting caught. He then started stealing small amounts on a daily basis. Chennayya came under suspicion only recently when he stole Rs 2 lakhs in one go in his latest pilferage.

It was reportedly found during the investigation that he had stolen around Rs 16 lakhs over the last couple of months. Police also confiscated the documents of two plots which he had bought in Hyderabad outskirts recently. They suspect that he could have stolen more than what he had confessed about, and are reportedly further interrogating him to extract complete details.

Despite lacking a strong story and draggy second-half,  Garuda Vega has got good word-of-mouth, all thanks to gripping stunt scenes. Now, the buzz is that the film is helping its director Praveen more than anyone else. Praveen managed to grab his next with Nithiin under the latter’s home production.

Industry grapevine is that Rajasekhar may not gain much or may gain very little out of Garuda Vega whereas director Praveen is taking away the complete credit.

While Praveen has signed his next film on the dotted line, Rajasekhar is yet to get offers. Let’s hope, Rajasekhar too would gain out of Garuda Vega.

Telugu film comedian Sudhakar, who entertained audience as one of the top comedians in 80s and 90s, has been missing from silver screen for more than a decade. The actor is now staging a comeback.

Sudhakar’s last notable appearance was in Venkatesh’s super hit family entertainer, “Sankranthi” in 2005. He was in news a few years ago when his health condition had deteriorated. After recovering, the actor maintained a low-profile for months, and is finally making a comeback to films with the upcoming Telugu film titled, “E Ee”.

The trailer of of E Ee was released recently, and it was a pleasant surprise to see a healthy Sudhakar featuring in it. He has scores of followers for his comic dialogue delivery and comedy timing. They hope that he gets active in films again and entertains all.

Title naming convention always follows sentiments in Telugu Film Industry. With ‘Preminchukundam Ra’ becoming hit, there are many films later that got a title with the word ‘ra’ in the end. Using words and lyrics from popular songs as a title is another trend.

With ‘Chitram’ becoming hit, director Teja himself followed the sentiment of naming his films with three-letter-word. Guess what, now he’s following yet another sentiment, as the film ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ became a super hit. Teja wants his next to be titled with a similar four-word line. And here it goes.

Apparently Teja’s next featuring Sr hero Venkatesh will go on floors from December 13th on the eve of the Daggubati scion’s birthday. Reportedly the film is likely to be titled as “Aata Naadhe, Veta Naadhe”. As the title suggests, it’s four-word line that rhymes with Teja’s latest hit ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’.

More than following sentiments, it is the content of a film that actually makes it work at box office. Leaving his trademark forests, exaggerated love stories and cliched heroism, Teja came out of the closet with his recent hit film. Hope he finds such smashing content yet again that these sentiments alone.

The makers of “Mahanati”, a biopic on yesteryear actress Savitri have pulled a casting coup of sorts by roping in Keerthy Suresh, Samantha, Dulquer Salman and a few other prominent faces for key roles. However, finding actors to play the roles of NTR and ANR has remained a daunting task for them.

Producer Ashwini Dutt hoped to rope in NTR Jr and Naga Chaitanya Akkineni to play their respective grandfathers in Mahanati, but both the actors softly rejected the proposal. The latest reports suggest that a replacement for Chaitu has been found.

Vijay Devarakonda has been on board the film for a while but there was no official info on whose character he was essaying. Buzz is that he is playing the role of none other than legendary ANR. Vijay’s camaraderie with director Nag Ashwin, who gave second lead role to him in “Yevade Subramanyam” is one of the reasons why the “Arjun Reddy” star agreed to act in “Mahanati”.

It needs to be seen who plays NTR Sr.

With Pawan Kalyan all set to take an active plunge into politics, diverse opinions are being witnessed from industry people. Senior actor Naresh feels that Pawan can bring back the golden period of NTR if he becomes the CM.

The actor has made a tweet to wish Kamal Haasan on the eve of his birthday. Since the senior hero is gearing up to join politics, Naresh wrote, “Millions of fans & people are dreaming of Kamalji & POWER STAR P.K as CM. If this happens it will reflect the golden period of NTR & MGR.”

What surprised everyone is Naresh comparing Pawan with Sr NTR, and exuding confidence that he can become as big a people’s leader as the TDP founder was.

Naresh, who joined BJP when he himself decided to enter politics, quit politics a few years ago after a brief stint. The actor however maintained that politics is his passion, and still harbors the dream of becoming a successful politician.

Following Naresh’s eulogizing tweet on Pawan, some people say that he hopes to join Jana Sena party and renew his political career.
