Sapthagiri LLB Teaser : Extra Commercial!

Share

Star comedian Sapthagiri who made his debut as hero with ‘Sapthagiri Express’, is back with his next film in lead role, ‘Sapthagiri LLB’. The film’s teaser has been unveiled, and it looks more like a song teaser than film teaser.

The film is the official remake of hit Bollywood film ‘Jolly LLB’, which was praised for solid content, nicely packed emotions and entertainment. In the teaser of Sapthagiri LLB, not a single clue about the plot was given, not even the character of Sapthagiri was introduced properly. It seemed like an attempt to showcase Sapthagiri as a commercial hero with a heroism-elevating introductory song, dances and fights. Sapthagiri’s dances however deserve applause.

It needs to be seen whether the remake stays true to the original or gets diluted for the sake of adding masala.

Fans of Pawan Kalyan who were expecting the unveiling of first look and title of his upcoming film, PK25 on the eve of director Trivikram’s birthday (Nov 7), will receive a gift for sure, albeit a surprising one.

The first single from the film, ‘Baitikochi chuste’ will be released on Nov 7. This is probably the first time a song is coming out from a film whose title hasn’t been announced yet. Fans, who have been patiently waiting for months, are obviously elated and they have already started trending the #BaitikochiChuste hashtag on social media. This could be the beginning of the film’s promotional activities.

Actually, a glimpse of ‘Baitikochi Chuste’ song was unveiled on the eve of Pawan Kalyan’s birthday in September as a musical surprise. And, the full single is coming out on the eve of Trivikram’s birthday. It is the first Telugu song composed by Anirudh to be officially unveiled.

The film’s shooting is currently underway in Bulgaria. January 10, 2018 is the D Day.

Hyderabad Princess to Debut in Tollywood

Share

Gorgeous actress Aditi Rao Hydari, who stole the hearts of movie lovers with her charismatic looks and commendable performance in Mani Ratnam’s “Cheliyaa” is widely considered as a Bollywood import. But, what not many knows is that she was born and raised in Hyderabad, that too in a royal family.

Hydari’s Wikipedia page reads, “Hydari was born into two royal lineages, that of Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari and J. Rameshwar Rao of erstwhile Raja of Wanaparthy family. She is the great granddaughter of Akbar Hydari, former Prime Minister of Hyderabad and the grand niece of Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari, former Governor of Assam”.

This 31-year-old royal Hyderabadi actress is now all set to make her debut in Telugu film industry (Cheliyaa was the dubbed version of a Tamil film). Critically acclaimed Telugu film director Indraganti Mohana Krishna has reportedly signed Hydari to play the female lead in his next film, a romantic comedy. Sudheer Babu is on board to play the hero. Hydari is the perfect mixture of elegant looks and acting prowess, probably the reason why Indraganti chose her for a meaty role in his new film.

She will be next seen in upcoming Bollywood biggie, “Padmavati”.

Why She Is Not Getting Offers in Telugu!

Share

Andrea Jaremiah has proved herself as a successful singer, musician and, a talented and bold actress. Despite being a busy actress in Tamil and Malayalam industries, she has done only one Telugu film till date, what could be the reason? Andrea says that she is not getting interesting offers from Telugu.

Andrea was first seen on Telugu silver screen in Karthi’s successful dubbed film, ‘Yuganiki Okkadu’. She was later seen in Kamal Haasan’s “Viswaroopam” and “Uttama Villain”. She is counted among those set of Beautiful actresses who could get very Bold as well, if script demands. She has earned good fan following in Telugu with the aforementioned films. Surprisingly, she however has done only one straight Telugu film till date, ‘Tadakha’, where she paired opposite Sunil.

Since she is having two Telugu releases – Siddharth’s “Gruham” and Vishal’s “Detective” this Friday, on November 10, Andrea has interacted with media. Both the films have already released in Tamil and won critical acclaim as well as commercial success. Andrea is confident of her two films succeeding in Telugu too, and thus opening doors for her in Telugu film industry. She says that she is waiting for interesting scripts from Telugu filmmakers.

Pawan’s Heroine Selected After Auditioning 100 Girls

Share

In his stellar career spanning more than two decades, Pawan Kalyan has romanced several non-star heroines, and Kannada beauty Kriti Kharbanda was one of them. Currently testing her luck in Bollywood, she is awaiting the release of her November 10 release, “Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana”.

The makers of the film have divulged that they had selected Kriti to play the female lead in their film after auditioning more than 100 girls. They had a specific vision of the heroine character and found the gorgeous actress fit impeccably. The film’s producer revealed that he was so confident of Kriti pulling off the role that he convinced two other producers to release her dates.

Kriti had two Bollywood releases thus far, and both bombed at box office. She is hopeful of striking gold with her new film, and make inroads in the Hindi film industry.

She is counted among the unlucky set of actresses who failed to make it big in Tollywood despite having gorgeous looks and decent acting skills. Her luck didn’t favor her even after playing Pawan’s love interest in “Teenmaar”. She is currently dabbling with Kannada and Hindi films, and is awaiting for a good opportunity to make her comeback to Tollywood.

The Only Time Rajasekhar Got Angry With Jeevitha

Share

Senior actors Rajasekhar and Jeevitha are one of the ideal couples in Tollywood. Rajasekhar often says marrying Jeevitha was the best decision he has ever taken in his life, and that she is his biggest strength. The actor has recently talked about the only time when he got angry with and felt jealous of her.

On a chat show hosted by comedian Ali, Rajasekhar recollected his first film with Jeevitha, “Talambralu”. “I didn’t want to act in that film in the first place. I however signed it after listening to the story, which was arresting.

During the making, I used to take 2-3 takes for scenes where dialogues were lengthy but Jeevitha would complete every scene in single take however lengthy the dialogues are. I felt very jealous of and got angry with her as she was making me look like an amateur. I waited to see her taking a second take for at least one scene but she never game me that joyous moment.

I thought that she would win huge appreciation after the film’s release, but I got bigger name with that film. In fact, a girl kissed me in a theatre after watching the film. Later, “Aahuthi” and “Ankusam” also became hits, and Jeevitha eventually became my life partner,” Rajasekhar revealed the interesting stuff from past.

Rajasekhar won the Nandi Award in “Best Villain” category in 1986 for “Talambralu”. The actor is currently enjoying the success of his latest film, “Garuda Vega”.

T-Town Talk: Foreign Mallu Girls Dominating

Share

From a long time, we have these Mallu beauties dominating the telugu film circuits. From Radha to Nayantara, Sobhana to Nitya Menon always they have excelled in either glamour or acting prowess or sometimes both. But here is a new trend coming off these beauties.

Making Telugu industry go gaga with their performances, many Malayalam beauties are on the top even now. However, some talented Mallu girls who come from Kerala are not willing to flaunt glamour. The likes of Anupama Parameswaran, Nivetha Thomas and also Keerthi Suresh are best examples. At this juncture, some foreign raised Mallu beauties are threatening these hotties.

Firstly it is USA based Anu Emmanuel who is becoming the former Nayantara, by teasing everyone with her glamorous looks. And then, we have Dubai bred Catherine Tresa, Bahrain raised Ester Noronha doing their best. There comes Priya Lal from United Kingdom who is debuting with Guvva Gorinka movie and soon may sizzle in her glamorous avatar. Earlier another Bahrain based hottie Mamta Mohandas also took Tollywood by a glamour storm.

With glamorous NRI Mallu divas giving strong competition to local Mallu divas whose gang consists of mostly non-masala loving starlets, it looks the fight is going to get interesting in the coming days.

6 Failures From The Team of Rajamouli

Share

A director feels very happy when his assistants go on to make him proud. Ace director SS Rajamouli, who has arguably become the country’s top director with “Baahubali”, however is facing embarrassment as his assistants are delivering disaster after disaster.

This weekend release, “Angel”, which starred Hebah Patel in lead role, has received scathing reviews, and is being predictably by trade pundits to end up as a disaster at box office. The film, a socio fantasy, was directed by Palani, who assisted Rajamouli for “Baahubali”.

One of last year’s high budget films, “Jaguar” (a launch pad for former Karnataka CM Kumara Swamy’s son Nikhil Gowda), which eventually became a huge disaster, was also directed by a Rajamouli’s assistant, Mahadevan. The film had story by Rajamouli’s father, Vijayendra Prasad.

Jagadeesh Talaseela (Lachhimdeviki O Lekkundi), Trikoti (Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya), Kannan DS (Saarai Veerraju) and Karuna Kumar (Nithin’s “Drona”) are the other assistants of Rajamouli who disappointed with their debut films.

And, every time a Rajamouli’s assistant fails, he is facing embarrassment for the obvious reasons.

Saptagiri Weds Sunny Leone

Share

When a film succeeds or a lead character becomes popular, we see films coming in a series retaining that character name, for ex: James Bond, Gabbar Singh etc. Star comedian turned hero Saptagiri seems to have decided to make a series of films named after his real name.

The title of Saptagiri’s debut film as hero was named after him, ‘Saptagiri Express’. He has retained his name in the title of his second film as well, ‘Saptagiri LLB’. Will he continue the Saptagiri brand for next films too? Seems yes.

During the teaser launch event of ‘Saptagiri LLB’, it has been confirmed that his third film has been titled ‘Saptagiri Weds Sunny Leone’. The title is very catchy and what’s most important is the intention of the comedian-turned-hero to retain ‘Saptagiri’ brand. He is probably the first comedian, for that matter first Indian actor to make films named after his own name. If Saptagiri LLB becomes a hit, there might no stopping for Saptagiri series.

Coming to ‘Saptagiri Weds Sunny Leone’, it is heard that Saptagiri is trying to rope in Sunny Leone to play the female lead.

Roja is a ‘Thingara Bucchi’

Share

The verbal war between loquacious YSRCP MLA Roja and TDP leaders is a never ending saga. Often, these leaders make some objectionable comments at each other because of their loose tongue.

Andhra Pradesh State Minister for Roads and Buildings Ch. Ayyanna Patrudu has recently called Roja a ‘Thingara Bhcchi’. He reasoned that she doesn’t have iota of knowledge and that keeps commenting on TDP leaders, principally CM Chandrababu Naidu with baseless allegations.

He hit out at Roja for commenting that Chandrababu Naidu was allegedly trying to prevent the Padayatra of YCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. ‘She is a thingara bucchi, who speaks whatever comes to her mind, just with the intention of defaming TDP. People know her very well and that’s why they don’t take her comments seriously,’ he reportedly said.

Not stopping there, the minister went on ranting at Roja allegedly saying that someone who dances in TV shows in revealing clothes doesn’t have the right to comment on the CM.

What A Slogan! Ra… Jaa…

Share

YSRC Party chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy, who is all set to commence his ‘Praja Sankalpa Padayatra’ from Monday, is going into people with a catchy slogan, ‘Raavali Jagan – Kaavali Jagan’.

Political strategist Prashant Kishor, who has been hired by Jagan with the task of making his party victorious in the upcoming Assembly elections, has reportedly coined this slogan. He believes that the slogan reflects the eagerness of AP people to see Jagan as the savior of the state. Impressed by the slogan, Jagan reportedly exuded confidence that people’s perception about him will change through this campaign during padayatra.

Some say that Jagan’s slogan “Raavali Jagan – Kaavali Jagan” is inspired from TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu’s slogan during the campaign of 2014 elections, “Jabu Kavalante Babu Raavali”, which was embraced by people of AP.

Undeterred by the comparisons with Babu’s slogan, Prashant Kishor believes in his brainchild, and has planned to popularize the slogan throughout AP through banners, wall paintings, hoardings, merchandise etc. during Jagan’s Padayatra. The publicity material has already reached Rayalaseema districts, from where the walkathon will commence on November 6.
