Here is the powerful selfie. Pawan Kalyan’s close friend, confidante, director Trivikram Srinivas has captured a beautiful moment on the sets of his ongoing film PSPK 25 (tentatively called as Agnatavasi). Trivikram took the selfie while Pawan is sipping his coffee on the sets. Also seen alongside Pawan is beautiful Anu Emmanuel.
The film features Keerthy Suresh as female lead. Pawan will be seen as a software engineer. The action entertainer with family elements has music by Anirudh Ravichander of Kolaveri Di fame.
Produced by Radha Krishna of Haarika & Hassine Creations, Agnatavasi is all set for release on Jan 10, 2018 for Sankranthi.
Post the demise of film industry veteran, legendary director Dasari Narayana Rao, many are worried who will take his position as a champion of the needy in Tollywood. It seems like Megastar Chiranjeevi is slowly taking that responsibility.
In the recent times, Megastar is seen entertaining every single guest who seeks a meeting with him. During their birthday times, many Jabardasth comedians are going and meeting Chiru and taking his blessings. At the same time, many big producers and directors, and veterans are also keeping in touch with him. Some young filmmakers are making him launch their teasers and first look posters. And the recent meeting of Chiru with Rajasekhar and Jeevitha is another stunner.
Putting their differences or misunderstandings whatever, aside, Megastar Chiranjeevi wished with a true heart that Rajasekhar should bounce back faster and stronger with PSD Garudavega movie. Like never before, Rajasekhar couple met Chiru to show their film’s trailer and take his word for obvious reasons.
While Chiru’s meetings are getting limited to blessing and promoting, maybe soon he will jump into addressing problems of cine unions, clashes between producers and financial fights as well. That way, he’s like to take the Mega seat of Dasari and stand as torchbearer for this wonderful film family.
In a bid to stop Revanth Reddy from emerging as a strong leader in Telangana in coming days, arch rival KTR is pulling out all stops to hamper his political progress. As soon as Revanth joined Congress by quitting TDP & the MLA position that he secured with, the TRS scion has initiated a fresh game to put a check to Revanth.
To begin with, KTR is poaching Revanth supporters in his Kodangal Assembly Constituency. The senior leaders in Revanth’s team have been reportedly offered huge gifts. If rumours are anything to go by, they’ve been offered cars, bikes depending on their needs.
KTR has reportedly met the several leaders from Kodangal – both from TDP and Congress – with in a week time, and trying his best to turn them towards the ruling TRS.
While Revanth has planned to irk KCR morally by resigning his MLA post and teach a lesson to KCR through a by-election, KTR targeted to weaken the Congress by poaching all Revanth’s supporters much before the by-poll.
Simultaneously, KTR is also holding talks with TDP leaders (in all districts of Telangana) who are keen to join Congress following Revanth. Revanth has been maintaining big fan following in the party and also enjoys support from many Telugu Desam leaders.
KTR is of the view that if all TDP leaders join Congress and support Revanth, the TRS would face difficulty in consolidating the party in TDP dominated districts before the 2019 general elections.
Leaders said KTR already entrusted his cabinet colleagues to launch hunt for strong TDP leaders and join them into TRS before they switch loyalties to Revanth-led Congress.
Actor-filmmaker Prakash Raj on Friday supported actor Kamal Haasan’s views on “Hindu extremists”.”If instilling fear in the name of religion… culture… morality is not terrorizing… then what is it. Just asking,” tweeted Prakash Raj, a popular name in the Kannada, Telugu and Tamil film industries.
In an accompanying post titled “To whomsoever it may concern”, Prakash Raj wrote: “If abusing and manhandling young couples on the streets of my country in the name of morality is not terrorizing… If taking law into hands and lynching people on slightest doubt of cow slaughter is not terrorizing… If trolling with abuse, threat… to silence even a slightest voice of dissent is not terrorizing… Then what is terrorizing… Just asking.”
His comment came after Kamal wrote in a Tamil magazine that earlier rightwing Hindus used to argue but without indulging in violence. But as their “cunningness” started to fail, they began to resort to violence.
“Extremism has spread into their camp as well,” said Kamal, who is said to be preparing for a political plunge. “This extremism is not a victory or progress to those who call themselves Hindus.”
The Congress party in Telangana, which was extremely euphoric over the entry of Kodangal MLA A Revanth Reddy, has got disappointed within no time, as it has not received the expected large scale influx of leaders from other parties.
Soon after the defection of Revanth into the Congress, Pradesh Congress Committee president Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy said there would be large scale exodus of leaders from the TDP and other parties into the Congress. But, so far, nothing of that sort has happened.
As a result, the PCC leaders have started leaking names of some TRS and TDP leaders who would be coming into their Congress party.
On Friday, there was a strong rumour that former minister and Warangal (East) MLA Konda Surekha along with her MLC husband Konda Murali would be joining the Congress shortly.
Apparently, the Congress leaders felt that she was feeling uncomfortable in the TRS following differences with another TRS MLA Errabelli Dayakar Rao and was upset for being denied cabinet berth in Telangana government.
It appears some Congress leaders even consulted the couple and tried to persuade them to join the party. As the news about Surekha’s defection spread like wild fire, she had to come before the media to give clarification.
“The Congress leaders are playing a mind game. They are feeling as if Revanth’s entry has given them much power, but it is just swelling. The Congress party was dead long ago. I came into politics with the blessings of Y S Rajasekhar Reddy and got the second life because of KCR. I will never quit the TRS,” she said.
The debate of whether celebrities should endorse ‘fairness’ products has been going on for years but hardly any celeb has taken a firm stance on not endorsing the products which claim to make people ‘fair’.
Curly beauty Taapsee Pannu is reported to have become one of the very few celebs to reject a fairness cream brand endorsement besides turning down the offer to promote an alcohol brand.
With the newly found stardom in Bollywood, Taapsee is being approached by advertisers to endorse their products. While she has given her nod to endorse a few products, she has rejected to be the face of a fairness cream brand and an alcohol brand, say reports. She reportedly refused to compromise on her principles despite being offered lucrative sums to endorse the aforementioned brands.
On work front, Taapsee hasn’t yet signed a Telugu film post the success of ‘Anando Brahma”.
Senior Telangana politician and TRS party leader Potla Nageswara Rao has announced to join the Congress party on November 8. He accused the TRS party chief and CM KCR of draconian leadership, and alleged that KCR is the only CM in the country who doesn’t come to Secretariat. He added that he decided to join Congress since he couldn’t tolerate KCR’s leadership.
Potla said that Revanth Reddy (who recently jumped from TDP into Congress) encouraged him to come out of TRS’ clutches. Buzz is that he has been lured into Congress by promising him a key position in Khammam district.
Potla defected from TDP into TRS in 2015, and now joined Congress.
