Secret Voice Recorder in AP Minister’s Car
In what could be an attempt to snooping, a voice recorder has been found in the car of Andhra Pradesh Roads and Buildings minister Ch Ayyannapatrudu. This came to light when the attendants at the minister’s residence were cleaning the vehicle.
The minister shocked to see the recorder in the car used officially by him. It is suspected that some rival forces might have fixed the recorder and tracking his regular activities.
The minister immediately alerted police who rushed to the house and questioning the workers and the minister’s staff. Police also launched hunt to find whether such audio recorders are fixed in the minister’s residence.
Mahesh Hires Powerful Social Media Team
Superstar Mahesh Babu is quite shocked with back to back debacles in the recent times. While he has been badly criticised for his story selection, people close to Mahesh often felt that ‘negative’ word spread on social media is the prime reason for misfiring of those films.
Though Mahesh moved on to his next project titled Bharat ane Nenu which is being helmed by Koratala Siva, he’s said to have come with measures to check negative talk. We hear that his wife Namratha is now keen on building a strong social networking base apart from the actor’s Twitter and Facebook pages.
Much to the delight of Superstar’s fans, now a social media page called ‘MB Official Team’ or “Team Mahesh Babu” is appearing on Facebook, Twitter and also Instagram. We hear that Namratha hired a strong social media team to manage all these official social networking accounts. A bunch of experts in SEO and digital media is in place to make sure that right information at right times is spread about Mahesh and his films.
Buzz says that a team from top digital promotion firm which has been handling Rahul Gandhi’s twitter account is helping set up this social network for the Superstar. The authenticity of this information couldn’t be checked, but the pages people are talking about are active from the last couple of days.
Balayya Blocks Beach Road, Public Upset
Nandamuri Balakrishna is shooting for his next film ‘Jai Simha’ non-stop to make sure that it will hit screens during Sankranthi 2018 season. Currently, some crucial scenes of this KS Ravikumar directorial were shot at surroundings of RK Beach, Vizag which happens to the favorite tourist spot for tourists. And that created some problems, as per reports.
While many films have been shot on the beach in all these years, filmmakers always promised that they would never interrupt the people residing and commuting across the beach. For the first time, however, RK Beach and the adjacent Beach Road has been blocked for the entire day (Friday) without any prior information, which troubled the locals, school children, and tourists. The entire day witnessed massive jams across the roads connecting RK Beach, due to the shooting of Jai Simha.
It is being said that this never happened even during the visit of Prime Minister and President to the Beach City. Balakrishna shot for an action episode in which he fights with a group of political supporters and the pictures already went viral all over. Some of them called it a misuse of power in the state. Police, however, stated that Balayya’s producer took proper permission for the shoot.
Jai Simha produced by C Kalyan is slated for January 12th, 2018 release. Nayanthara, Hari Priya, and Natasha Doshi are the female leads.
Revanth Touches Babu’s Feet Before Leaving?
Revanth Reddy and Chandrababu Naidu share a very special bond. Chandrababu has always encouraged Revanth and the latter has that gratitude towards the former. Beyond professional front, Chandrababu too liked Revanth for his passionate, aggressive approach. And Revanth did keep upto the expectations of Naidu and carved a niche for himself.
Even at a stage when KCR allegedly tried every possible technique, trick to bring Revanth on board for TRS, but Revanth stood like a steady rock against KCR, TRS. Although he was jailed, Revanth decided not to give up and continued his uncompromising battle against TRS.
Revanth always has a high regard for Naidu and treated him as his Guru i.e more than a Boss. This was once again proved as some emotional scenes took place during Revanth’s last meeting with Chandrababu in Amaravati. Revanth’s close aide Vem Narendar Reddy too accompanied Revanth in his meeting with Chandrababu.
After conveying the circumstances that led to his resignation, Revanth gave a formal yet emotional resignation letter to Chandrababu (via his PA). During then, Revanth said to have touched Naidu’s feet as a mark of respect and sought his blessings for his future endeavors.
Chandrababu too apparently got emotional and said to have told Revanth, “Vellipothava?”
Revanth’s eyes filled with moist and he gently replied, “Avunu Sir. Kani Ekkadunna Mee Vadine!”
The exit of Revanth, indeed, sets a new precedent in today’s politics. At a time when many TDP leaders of Telangana have crossed to ruling TRS for political gains and a few even didn’t resign to MLA seats but instead leveled allegations against Chandrababu & TDP, Revanth did an other way round.
Revanth also resigned to his MLA seat that he secured via TDP. On the whole, the episode of Revanth’s exit from TDP conveys a strong lesson to many ‘selfish’ politicians cutting across political parties.
Lavanya Tripathi Should Pay 3 Crores Fine?
Looks like a small issue got snowballed into a major trouble for sexy seductress Lavanya Tripathi, who hasn’t anticipated problems with her moves. When it comes to Kollywood, such restrictions and harassment are always there, and she seems to be the latest victim.
Recently for reasons best known to her, Lavanya has exited herself from 100% Love Tamil remake, titled 100% Kadhal. While the internal rumors revealed that Lavanya felt upset with the film’s director imposing some conditions on her, she revealed later that due to the clash of dates and other commitments she took an exit.
Latest buzz coming from Kollywood circles is that the makers of 100% Kadhal have approached Tamil Producers Council demanding 3 crores fine from the actress for causing loss to their investment and time. Though there is no formal press-note or anything regarding this, even Producers Council is said to have granted the demand of 100% Kadhal producer.
Both the parties including 100% Kadhal producer and also Lavanya have remained tight-lipped about the news, but they say there comes no smoke without fire. Anyway, how come an actress who charges somewhere around 30-40 lakhs per film will pay 3 crores?
Meanwhile, 100% Kadhal is currently being shot with GV Prakash and Arjun Reddy fame Shalini Pandey as the leads.
Trade: Raja Collects Nearly 50 Cr
Thanks to a decent second weekend following career-best first week collections, Ravi Teja’s “Raja The Great” took its cumulative worldwide gross to nearly Rs 49 Cr, and is likely to cross the half century milestone in a day or two.
As per reliable trade reports, RTG collected Rs 7 Cr gross with a share of 3.4 Cr in the 2nd weekend. The worldwide distributor share stands at 28.4 Cr.

Mega Hero’s Tholi Prema On Feb 9th
Mega hero Varun Tej, who scored a huge blockbuster this year with “Fidaa”, is coming up with his follow up project on the eve of Maha Shivaratri festival early next year.
Senior producer BVSN Prasad, who is bankrolling Varun’s new film has announced that the film will hit screens on February 9, 2018. He divulged that the team had recently finished a 40-day long schedule in London and that he was quite impressed with the output. ‘ We have completed 70 percent talkie with this schedule, and the entire shoot will be wrapped up by December end. Thaman’s music and George C Williams (Tamil ‘Katthi’ fame) cinematography will be big assets for our romantic entertainer, which we plan to release on Feb 9′ he added.
Feb 9 is Friday, and the Shivratri festival holiday falls on 13th Feb, on Tuesday, so a very good date indeed for the upcoming Varun Tej and Raashi Khanna starrer which is reported to have been titled ‘Tholi Prema’. Considering its a conducive release date, the film can find competition at box office from one or two notable films.
Venky Atluri is making his directorial debut with this film.

Mersal Breaks Baahubali 2’s Record
Tamil star hero Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s latest film “Mersal” has broken yet another record held earlier by “Baahubali 2” at the Tamil Nadu Box Office, if the trade reports are anything to go by.
Trade reports say that “Mersal” has crossed the Rs 100 Cr gross mark in Tamil Nadu state alone, and became the only third film after Rajinikanth’s “Enthiran” and “Baahubali 2” to achieve this milestone. By doing so in just 11 days, the Vijay-starrer broke the ‘fastest 100 Cr grosser in TN’ record which was held previously by Baahubali 2, which did so in 17 days.
Baahubali 2 is however still the All Time highest grossing film in Tamil Nadu. We need to see if “Mersal’ can break this record in full run.
Meanwhile, a senior Tamil distributor has openly said that the collections of “Mersal” are fake.On a related note, there is no clarity yet on the release date of ‘Adirindhi’, the Telugu version of “Mersal”.
