Which Party You’re Joining? KTR Asks TDP MLA
TDP, which had already become weak in Telangana following the gradual exodus of party leaders to ruling TRS party, received a major jolt when Working President Revanth Reddy resigned to the party. Latest reports suggest that most of the remaining leaders in TTDP are also now looking to join other parties.
In this context, an interesting discussion took place between Telangana state IT minister KTR and TTDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah in the state Assembly lobby. When the duo reportedly came face to face, the topic of defection of TDP leaders came up. Its then KTR asked the latter which party he was migrating to. Sandra replied that he would stick with TDP no matter what.
He reportedly further said that there was no truth in the reports of Dayakar Reddy and Seethakka leaving TDP. He added that there was no effect of Revanth Reddy’s resignation on TDP.
‘Getting Ready For A Multistarrer’
Ever since director Anil Ravipudi has scored average success with “Raja The Great”, there have been umpteen speculations about his next film. Surprising all, the director has disclosed that he is working on a multistarrer subject.
Speaking at the success meet of RTG, Ravipudi revealed that he was penning a multistarrer subject to be produced by Dil Raju. He didn’t divulge anything about who the heroes under consideration for his film. Well, not many heroes would refuse to work with a commerical director like Anil, especially when the film would be bankrolled by Dil Raju. Further details would be disclosed when the director locks the script.
Dil Raju, who brought back the trend of multistarrers by roping in Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh for SVSC, has been longing to make more multistarrers. He seems to have found a reliable director to be entrusted with that responsibility. It may be noted that Dil Raju himself bankrolled Ravipudi’s last two films.
Meanwhile, RTG is doing decent business in the domestic circuit, all thanks to the fun factor.
Is It Possible Raja?
Senior actor Rajasekhar has pinned all the hopes on his upcoming action thriller ‘PSV Garuda Vega’ and he looks very confident that he’s already calling it a ‘Hit Film’. But, the trade pundits are wondering how it will be a success, given that the film’s budget is close to 25 Crore!
If at all Garuda Vega was made on budget of 5-6 crores, it would be comfortable for for Rajasekhar to achieve the break even. Given the market for Rajasekhar and his films, it would be a heavy daunting task for PSV unless a super strong subject & execution. Even if the film, which is popular among netizens, manage to attract overseas and A center audiences, 25 Crore share looks highly impossible.
Also, there is no proper backing from any big distributor for this Praveen Kumar’s directorial. Although PSV looks promising with stunning trailers, it remains to be seen whether it will be a successful one at box-office or not.

School Kid’s Project On Jr NTR?? Too Much
It is science, technology, and innovation that make lives prosper. Since ages, it is these developments that took mankind forward while ‘art’ is seen as torch-bearer of carrying culture forward. And then, is our cinema really one such art we should be proud of?
Apparently, some images doing rounds on social media are quite shocking that films and film heroes are becoming ‘cult figures’ than scientists, innovators, and other achievers. What is said to be a project-work done on Telugu hero Jr NTR by a school student, shows how white-page-notes are turned into scrapbooks that show adulation for the actor. This doesn’t look like an encouraging sign in any angle, even if it is not a project work but just a scrapbook.
Perhaps, project works should be done on how poor-lives could be made better, how poverty could be eradicated, things to be done to keep malnutrition at bay, improvise education system, make welfare fruits reach all the citizens, improvise socio-economic conditions and ideas to strengthen the economy. What will any student learn by writing pages about the character an actor plays on screen, the kinds of dances he does, his twirled mustaches and box collections?
Such mass worship of films and film heroes from only a ‘heroic’ point won’t yield anything for the families and countries. Cinema is a preservation of history if subjects deal with social and economic conditions, culture and history. But cinema will not be an art for punch dialogues, comedy and shaking waists.
Revealed: The 2 Persons Behind NTR Doing JLK
During the pre-release event of “Jai Lava Kusa”, NTR said that he had taken the opinion of two persons before agreeing to do the film and added that he would reveal the two names after the film becomes a hit at box office.
Its been more than a month since the release of the film, but NTR hasn’t yet revealed who the two persons were. Most fans guessed that they could be Rajamouli and VV Vinayak, since these two are very close to NTR and have given huge blockbusters to him.
Now, Kona Venkat, the writer of JLK and a close companion of NTR, has revealed that fans only succeeded fifty percent by guessing the name of Rajamouli correctly but failing to predict the second person, Koratala Siva. While answering a question posed by a follower on social media, Kona made this big revelation.
Over the course of filming ‘Janatha Gagare’, NTR and Koratala became good friends, and that could be the reason why the star hero chose to take the latter’s opinion before take the decision of doing JLK. Rajamouli is the go-to man for NTR for obvious reasons.

Just two films old, Anu Emmanuel has impressed Telugu audiences with her looks and presence in Majnu and Kittu Unnadu Jagratha. But to my surprise, I’m playing his love interest”.

What matters is the director whom I’m working with”.

‘The Nightingale of the South’ Goes Silent
Legendary playback singer S. Janaki, crowned with the title of “The Nightingale of the South”, gave her last performance, and announced her retirement.
On Saturday, Janaki bid adieu to singing with an emotional public concert in Mysuru. The night was indeed an emotional affair for Janaki, who had given her first public performance in Mysuru only, in 1957. Her fans gathered in huge number to listen to her for one last time. The crowd was so high that some couldn’t get tickets to the concert.
The 79-year-old singer reportedly said that she was happy and content having sung so many songs. She announced that it was her last concert, adding that she wanted to quit while she was doing well, while her tearful fans were listening.

The four-time National Film Award winner started her singing career in 1957. In her six decades of career, she sang nearly 48,000 songs in 17 languages. She is one of the most prolific singers of her era in the history of Indian music.
