Just days after marrying Naga Chaitanya and becoming a member of the Akkineni family, Samantha changed her Twitter handle to Samantha Akkineni. She even said in the promotional interviews of RGG2 that the responsibility on her shoulders doubled after she had become an Akkineni.

It seems that Sam is so excited about the newly acquired ‘Akkineni’ surname that she is even wearing nightgowns on which ‘Mrs. Akkineni’ is written. It is not clear whether it was a family custom or she specifically asked for the design. The lady has proudly posted her picture wearing the robe, likely from bedroom on social media to share her joy with her millions of followers.

Actor Sai Dharam Tej has thrown a grand birthday party to his close aides on Saturday night at a posh pub in the city. The party saw the full attendance of friends from the industry and outside industry.

Mega producer Allu Aravind was present and there till the end to bless Sai Dharam Tej. Another surprise guest at the party was Ravi Teja.

“I’ve watched Baahubali 1. It’s a fantastic film. Rjamouli is one of the greatest directors we have. And also the acting performance of Prabhas is amazing. But due to my work schedules, haven’t seen Baahubali 2 yet. Now, don’t tell me why Kattappa killed Baahubali because I want to know it myself” said Aamir, talking about the movie.

Talking further, Aamir stated that he doesn’t know anything about the Mahabharata movie Rajamouli may make or may not in the near future, but he’s looking forward to star in the role of Karna if someone offers him.

An official announcement has been made that the audio launch event of the Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar-starrer will be held at Burj Park in Dubai, which is just a stone’s throw away from Burj Khalifa, the tallest structure in the world, on 27 October. The entire team of ‘2.0’ will interact with media a day ahead, on 26 October at the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, the world’s third tallest hotel.

Lyca Productions, which has invested around Rs 400 Cr on the film, is reportedly splurging Rs 12 Cr for the audio launch related arrangements, making the event a never before seen for an Indian film. AR Rahman will perform live at the event. The audio launch event will reportedly be streamed live with 360 degree viewing.

Later, the second big event of the film will be held in Hyderabad, where the film’s teaser will be unveiled. This event will reportedly be held at Shilpakala Vedika on 22 November. Rajinikanth, Shankar, Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson and all the major team members are expected to grace this massive event.

The trailer launch of the film will be held in Chennai as the third and final huge event. The trailer launch date is not finalized yet, but makers are reportedly planning it on 12 December, coinciding with Rajinikanth’s birthday.

The makers are also in talks with Twitter, Facebook and Google for some unique social media promotions.

Ram Charan, for the first time in his career, didn’t take remuneration for ‘Dhruva’, ensured the film was made under tight budget and took a percentage in profits. Coming to his father’s ‘Khaidi No.150’, with which he turned a producer, Charan didn’t give any remuneration to Megastar, wrapped the film in a reasonable 60 Cr budget and earned profits to the tune of Rs 50 Cr, which he obviously shared with his father. For ‘Sye Raa’ too, he is not taking any hurried decision despite having the pressure of bankrolling one of the highest budgeted projects.

Charan’s special care has not limited just to his production ventures, but he is reportedly involving in the production aspects of his starrer, ‘Rangasthalam’ too. Charan is reportedly overseeing the costs from time to time, making sure the budget remains under control, and he has also asked the producer to sell the film’s rights keeping the market dynamics in mind so that buyers don’t lose money. We have recently seen a few biggies which incurred losses to buyers despite performing reasonably well, owing to high rates.

People involved in Charan’s films, both in his production ventures and starrers are praising the actor’s tactful measures in cutting costs and minimizing risks, without compromising the quality.
