Movie lovers will be amazed to find out the amount of expense, time and effort went into making the jewellery worn by Deepika Padukone in Bhansali’s upcoming magnum opus, ‘Padmavati’.

A noted jewellery brand which had worked on making the jewellery for ‘Padmavati’, revealed that as many as 200 craftsmen worked for 600 days moulding 400 kilos of gold to make the exotic ornaments that Deepika would be seen wearing in the film. Besides the onerous physical effort, an extensive research was also conducted before finalizing the designs of Rani Padmavati’s jewellery and costumes in order to authentically represent the historical period.

All this hard work has paid off in abundance as the first look poster of Deepika and the trailer of Padmavati were met with supremely positive response from movie buffs. Carrying staggering expectations, the historical epic, also starring Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor will hit screens on December 1, 2017.

While controversial filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is implementing every possible trick in his book to create hype for ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’, an unperturbed Balakrishna Nandamuri is silently putting all pieces together to make a biopic on his legendary father, Sr NTR on a grand scale.

Director Teja has already confirmed that he would direct this prestigious project. Besides reprising his father’s character on screen, Balayya will also co-produce the film along with Sai Korrapati of Vaarahi banner and Vishnu Vardhan Induri, the Founder of CCL (Celebrity Cricket League). The film will be made in Telugu and Hindi. Considering NTR’s popularity in South, the biopic is likely to be released in all Southern languages.

For the unknown, Vishnu Vardhan Induri is the Founder of Celebrity Cricket League, and he currently serves as its Managing Director. He is a serial entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience in the Media & Entertainment industry. His connections across film industries is the possible reason for his inclusion as one of the producers of NTR biopic.

The film will goon floors next year.

Now top actress Tabu who has been staying single from the past few years has been poked by media during her promotions of her upcoming movie Golmaal Again.

The actress lost her cool and is frustrated about listening to the same question. She asked all those to go ahead and ask something fresh or interesting. During her interview with a leading news daily, Tabu said “Everyone seems to be worried about Salman Khan’s and my wedding. I am lost with the same repeated question. My request is to come out of the zone and shoot some interesting and new questions”.

The actress recently bought a lavish villa on a beach front in Goa where she lives and parties during her holidays.

SPYder, the highest budgeted movie in Superstar Mahesh Babu’s career, has also turned out to be the biggest disaster of his career. Made on a budget of Rs 120 Cr, the film is estimated to have incurred a loss of around Rs 50 Cr.

According to reports, Mahesh has promised to return a part of his remuneration to the producer, in his bid to lessen the loss. Mahesh was reportedly paid Rs 25 Cr as remuneration for SPYder. Reports say that Mahesh assured the producer to payback some amount before the release of his next film, ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’.

Mahesh has compensated his producers and buyers of his films whenever his films bombed at box office in the past too. He either returned some amount from his remuneration or did another film for the same producer.

Bollywood Superstar Hrithik Roshan has been picking up interesting films and he signed a film for Yash Raj Films which has been announced officially today.

Young director Siddarth Anand has been asked to direct this multi-starrer which will even co-star Tiger Shroff in another lead role. Vaani Kapoor who romanced Nani in Aha Kalyan in the past has been roped in for the female lead’s role.

Vaani Kapoor has been struggling for films while she signed a deal with Yash Raj after which she has been assigned the female lead. Her last outing Befiker directed by Aditya Chopra bombed badly at the box-office. Siddarth Anand is said to have impressed with her performance and signed the movie. This untitled film has been slated for January 25th 2019 release.

Sensational director Puri Jagannadh tasted a series of debacles but he is not in a mood to relax. After a debacle like Paisa Vasool, the ace director shifted his focus towards his next which will re-launch his son Akash Puri in the lead role. Titled Mehbooba, the movie will mark the debut of Neha Shetty as the female lead in this romantic entertainer.

A couple of days back, regular shoot of the film kick-started in Himachal Pradesh and Puri Jagannadh shared the pictures of the film’s launch. The audience expected that Puri Jagannadh’s wife Lavanya will launch the film with the first clap however it was Charmme who clapped the film. She has been spotted in all the pictures and she started sharing some interesting updates of Mehbooba as well.

As this did not go well with the netizens and some of them started posting at Puri and Charmme asking about how Akash’s mother went missing when her son is making debut as a hero. Though Charmme revealed that she is leading the production department of Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies on which Mehbooba is being produced, she’s now facing ire that her presence resulted in Lavanya’s absence.

Samantha has taken a dig at ace directors and star heroes. In her first-ever interaction with media after her marriage, Sam has surprisingly thrown satires at a few of her previous films and indirectly on its directors, writers.

“In many of my (previous) films, I’m there throughout the films, but I don’t know why I’m there at all. Whereas, it is my special appearance in Raju Gari Gadhi 2. Yet it is very important role and I’m quite contented,” said Samantha.

Sam is not a new entrant to controversies. Earlier, Sam had raked up a debate when she made “regressive” comment on a still from Mahesh Babu and Kriti Sanon-starrer One-Nenokkadine. However, Mahesh and the film’s director Sukumar had taken it in their stride.

However, her latest remark on her own roles in her previous films set tongues wagging in T-town. Although she didn’t take any names directly, all those films that she had done earlier had made her what she is today. Anyways, in an attempt to highlight the prominence of her role in RGG-2, Sam seems to have crossed the line albeit unintentionally. Sometimes, it happens. Hope Sam didn’t mean disrespect towards the writers, directors of some of her films.

We have already reported that Nagarjuna Akkineni was planning to hold a grand reception in Hyderabad following the cozy wedding of his son Naga Chaitanya with Samantha in Goa. The latest reports however suggest that there will be not one but two receptions.

Naga Chaitanya’s mother Lakshmi is reportedly planning to hold the first reception in Chennai as she resides there. It will be a private affair and only her family members and close friends will be invited. The entire Daggubati family and Samantha’s family members are likely to attend this reception in Chennai this month.

Later, Nagarjuna is planning a grand reception in Hyderabad, most likely in the first week of November. As Nag couldn’t invite all the industry people and friends for the wedding held in Goa earlier this month, he has decided to throw a big reception for their sake. Joining the long list of Tollywood heroes including Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu and Ram Charan, who have ventured into production, Sudheer Babu is turning into a producer with his new film.

As per reports, the producer who was supposed to bankroll the ‘Prema Katha Chithram’ hero’s new film, backed off at the last minute, prompting himself to turn a producer. It is heard that the actor had immense faith in the subject and hence he took the decision of producing the film. The regular shooting has kickstarted just recently.

The untitled film is directed by debutante Rajasekhar Naidu, and it stars Kannada actress Nabha Natesh as the female lead.

Here is the much awaited confirmation on ace director SS Rajamouli’s upcoming films. Speaking to an international media, the ‘Baahubali’ creator has confirmed his next two films.

Rajamouli reportedly said that his immediate next film will be for producer DVV Danayya. He also confirmed that it will be a ‘Social Drama’. The director added that he had not yet taken a call on the cast and that he would make a formal announcement once everything was in place.

Following this film, Rajamouli will direct Superstar Mahesh Babu in a huge project to be produced by KL Narayana. The film is likely to roll in 2019, right after both are done with their respective commitments. Rajamouli must be applauded for honoring his earlier commitments even though he has received huge offers from top production houses after the success of ‘Baahubali’.

Fans of Mahesh can rejoice the moment as the ace filmmaker is finally working with their favorite hero. In the meanwhile, the actor will wrap up ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’, a Vamsi Paidipally directorial and a film with Trivikram Srinivas.
