Actually few kids, aged between 7-10 years, have started crying inconsolably after watching the pre-climax episodes of Jai Lava Kusa movie. Especially the scenes where Jai gets pleaded by his brother Lava and Kusa to escape the scene where villains try to kill him and the way the younger siblings try to save their big brother has turned those emotional movers for kids.

“When I’m watching the film with family, suddenly my 7-year-old son started crying during that pre-climax episode. He’s neither a Jr NTR fan, nor he understands such dialogues better. But still, he got moved by the way the young siblings ask their brother and tears were flowing all over” a parent shared, chatting about the incident. When the same thing is discussed with some other parents who have kids of same age group, they also revealed that pre-climax portions made their children wet their eyes.

Whether to take this crying thing positively or negatively is a different debate altogether, but kids getting moved into such deep emotion are what films do to them. So filmmakers should be more careful with the kind of content they come up with, as that could influence children in any way.

Telugu audience, especially Akkineni fans are eager for the release of ‘Raju Gar Gadhi 2’ as the film stars now-officially Mama-Kodalu pair, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Samantha.

The duo have earlier shared screen space in ‘Manam’ but RGG2 is the first release after Sam became the daughter-in-law of Nag. People must thank senior hero Venkatesh for the materialization of the mam-kodalu combo, which is arguably the biggest USP of the horror comedy.

The director of ‘Raju Gari Gadhi 2’, Ohmkar has in a recent interview divulged that he had first approached Venkatesh to essay the character of ‘Mentalist’ in the film. “He was busy with ‘Guru’ and another film at that time so Venky sir asked me to go ahead with someone else. I then approached Nagarjuna and he immediately agreed to do the film,” revealed Ohmkar.

Clarifying the reports that the film is a ‘freemake’ of Malayalam film Pretham, Ohmkar confessed that he indeed borrowed the central theme of that film. “I have however changed the entire script for the Telugu version so as to include Samantha’s role, which wasn’t there in the Malayalam film. Approaching Samantha was the producer’s idea as Nagarjuna sir was already on board,” revealed the director talking about his third directorial venture.

Raju Gari Gadhi 2 is slated for an October 13 release .

In a small town in Andhra Pradesh, Rs. 130/- is the price of ticket at an A/c theatre, while non A/c theatres are collecting nearly 100 rupees. Though the same is not printed on a ticket, they are collecting that much price at counters. At a time when multiplexes in Hyderabad do charge only 150 rupees, one wonders how come small-town theatres charge such high in the second week.

When checked, a theatre-management person revealed that rate was decided for first two weeks. Of course, government has given a provision to hike ticket prices only in the first week. Despite being a small budgeted movie involving a mid-level hero, how come Mahanubhavudu went for such a ticket hike even in towns and villages even in second week?

But as long as these films are providing 100% entertainment, it looks like audiences are also not bothered about the ticket rate hike. Buzz is that these soared ticket rates fuelled Mahanubhavadu to collect staggering 18+ crores ‘share’ in the first week alone.
