Following a complaint by Movie Artistes Association (MAA) over a few YouTube channels and a few illegal websites, the Cyber Crime police of Hyderabad have arrested one Pradeep in Bangalore on Sunday.

Pradeep, who owns four YouTube channels, allegedly has been doing photo-morphing where pics of celebs faces would be attached to nude bodies and thus demeaning them. Allegedly, the YouTube channels owned by Pradeep also spread gossips, rumours on some celebs especially actresses to gain more clicks and views.

Cyber Crime police have brought Pradeep to Hyderabad and are expected to present him in the court on Monday. As per reports, complaint has been registered against 30 YouTube channels and a few websites. Cyber police say that they would chase the rest.

Young actor Vijay Devarakonda turned out to be an overnight star with the film Arjun Reddy. The way he was presented and the performance he delivered made Arjun Reddy one of the finest films of Telugu cinema.

However the overdose of lip locks and cuss words did not go well with a section of audience. The censor board chopped off some of the words and episodes and television premiere will rarely have them on small screen.

Arjun Reddy makers chopped off the film for an hour even before the release however now the complete film will be available on Amazon Prime videos. The episodes trimmed by the censor board and the makers too will be available online.

Directed by Sandeep Vanga, Arjun Reddy raked Rs 30 crores after it has been made on a budget close to Rs 5 crores. Amazon Prime subscribers will have this golden opportunity to watch the complete version of Arjun Reddy.

Apparently these days ‘criticism’ is being handled with an iron hand by many celebrities and filmmakers. Though there are incidents where critics are also crossing the line, increasingly many filmmakers are not taking criticism constructively.

Recent buzz in film circles is saying that some people from “Spyder” team are not even hesitating to take a legal attack if someone calls the film a flop. A popular box-office tracker has sometime back pronounced the figures made by this Mahesh starrer in a week time and declared that the film is a flop. Guess what, he has now received a legal notice from the makers claiming that revealing box-office numbers of a film is an infringement of copyrights, a source revealed.

As long as these box office trackers reveal positive figures about big-stars and their films, there is no problem. But when the truth is being revealed in the case of a disaster, these big producers are not even bothering to maintain some calm. They want to tackle the truth with legal attacks, it looks like.

On the brighter side, actually, governments should come up with a mechanism where the collections of any movie from any theatre will be made public through an online system. If online ticket system is introduced to all theatres, then there will be a chance of such transparency. One may ask, why would a business establishment reveal its collections openly? Then don’t slap thighs about records!!

Bollywood’s veteran actor Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sarah Ali Khan is already a star even before her debut. This star kid is making news with her debut film Kedarnath which started rolling recently. Special workshop has been conducted for Sarah Ali Khan before her debut and the film’s director Abhishek Kapoor is confident on her. Saif Ali Khan is not too keen on her choice and he is said to have given enough freedom for the focused kid.

Even after a grand launch of Chiru’s Sye Raa and unveiling of it’s first look by SS Rajamouli in August, the film’s shoot has been deferred which is expected to take a toll on the planning.

While the replacement of cinematographer Ravi Varman with Ratnavelu and non availability of Ratnavelu as he is currently working on Charan’s Rangasthalam is one of the reasons, it is learnt that the film’s script has not yet been locked. And this is another crucial reason why the film’s shoot is delayed. Inside talk is that director Surender Reddy is still working on the script and making necessary changes with the help of noted writers. Apparently, Chiru told Surender to work on script further and asked him to come up with a bound script. Also the fact that Charan himself is producing this big-budget multi-lingual film, Charan wants to free himself from Rangasthalam shoot to execute things hands on.

Meanwhile, Chiru is the only one who is perfectly ready for the character and even in complete shape, style for the role. On other hand, Surender Reddy is also hunting for notable cast alongside Chiru in this historic biopic. And the moot question is whether Surender Reddy can match up to make a grand film on par with Rajamouli’s Baahubali.

If a heroine centric film turns a blockbuster, will that really help the hero of the film in gaining stardom?

There were huge expectations on Nithiin after his A Aa super success and then came costly LIE, with more hopes pinned on Nithiin’s market. Producers spent a bomb on LIE, much more than usual on a film like it. The movie ended up as a cost failure and what’s more surprising is that A Aa left no impact on Nithiin’s market.

Now after A Aa lied to Nithiin, the next spotlight goes on Varun Tej. Though Fidaa was a blockbuster, Sai Pallavi and Sekhar Kammula walked away with success credit. Varun Tej scored a blockbuster with Fidaa undoubtedly, but not the expected stardom. At this stage, Varun tej’s next film turned crucial to his career and only his next success can boast of Fidaa.

If at all Varun Tej fails with his next film, he has to face what Nitiin is facing now. Already Varun Tej’s Mister was a disaster before Fidaa!
