Mahesh’s villain wants Vijay to be CM
Director turned actor SJ Suryah has been getting wide response for his work. He surprised the audience with his outstanding performance as a villain in Mahesh Babu’s Spyder and the actor is all set for his next big outing Mersal featuring Vijay in the lead role.
The actor essayed the lead antagonist’s role in the movie which is hitting the screens during Diwali. SJ Suryah revealed that Vijay is one of his closest pals and he would love to see him as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
“There is no rule that an actor cannot enter politics. India is free to do anything and I support actors making it to politics. I worked with Vijay for many films and he is a true gentleman. The actor does things with utmost perfection and I will be quite happy to see if he ends up turning the Chief Minister of the state. He thoughts and ideas are always fresh” revealed SJ Suryah.
Mersal directed by Atlee features Samantha Ruthprabhu, Kajal in the female leads. The movie is hitting the screens on October 18th.
To Touch Others, Sunny Has To Remove It
Withstanding all that criticism against her for her porn background, Sunny Leone has slowly made the tides turn in her favour. She’s a happening celebrity in Bollywood right now, thanks to her hot looks. Occasionally she picks some item numbers down south as well.
More than her glamour and willingness to flaunt it, there are some other qualities of this spicy siren that are shocking her co-stars and movie units. Recently when she shot for a song, actually there is a sequence where she needs to touch her lips to the hero’s for a partial kissing shot and lay hands on other men. Right into the filming of this shot, she requested the director to stop and ran away from the spot.
To everyone’s surprise, she actually went to her makeup assistant and gave him a ring which she removed from her ring finger. After finishing the shot, she’s said to have revealed to the director that it is her wedding ring and she won’t do any hot stuff while wearing it. Sunny is married to her former porn co-star Daniel Weber who also happens to be her manager now.
Some say that the hot siren is showing too much bhakti on a wedding ring like a conservative girl, but others feel that she has respect for the institution of marriage. Maybe it is people who look her down as a former adult starlet should need to learn a lesson from this happening.
Jr NTR Trashed All Bad Sentiments
Until broken, everything is a bad sentiment for film industry folks. They called Shruti Haasan an iron-leg until Gabbar Singh happened. They felt a director with blockbuster first-film will suffer the second-film jinx until Koratala Siva proved them wrong with Srimanthudu. And here is another bad sentiments galore, proven wrong by Jai Lava Kusa.
Young Tiger NTR tasted back to back debacles however he has been on right track since his last three films. There are actors who believe in sentiments and luck, but ultimately it is the content that drives the film completely. He managed to hold a gadha in Ramayya Vastavayya which ended up as a massive disaster. He even managed to have a long hair in Dhammu which too ended up as a disappointment. And that led to the belief that repetition of those stints in Jai Lava Kusa might cast a bad spell on the movie.
Trashing all the sentiments, Jr NTR managed to step out with Gadha in the role of Jai in his recent outing and indeed he has been spotted with a long hair too for the Kusha character he played. With the film amassing mere 70+ crores share in two weeks, all the sentiments are proved wrong. Content is the basic requirement for any blockbuster, not these sentiments anyway.
We have to see how many actors and directors will now trash sentiments and break the talks by making their moves boldly towards content-driven cinema.
Why Is Spyder Releasing In Vietnam?
Mahesh Babu’s latest movie “Spyder” might have invoked mixed responses at the box office, but the film is gearing up for some unthinkable feats. And one of them is, it will be released in Vietnam after getting dubbed into the local Vietnamese language. In case if you’re wondering why here goes it.
Actually, the film’s action choreographer, the popular stunt master of Baahubali, Peter Hein is the person behind this dubbing thing which is due to his ancestral connect. Though he speaks fluent Tamil, he’s not actually Tamilian, but a refugee from Vietnam whose family settled in Chennai since his childhood. Now that Spyder’s pre-interval rollercoaster action sequence was also shot at Ho Chin Minh city in Vietnam, he wants the film to be dubbed in his native language and released.
Till date, we have seen Rajnikanth’s film releasing in Japanese and Malay, and recently Baahubali also released in various other foreign languages. This is being followed by other movies as well and now Mahesh’s Spyder joins the list. Earlier our Superstar’s Atha
Jagan – Jeeyar Swami. What’s Up?
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy visited ‘Chinna’ Jeeyar Swami on Tuesday morning and took his ‘blessings’ ahead of his Padayatra. Jagan, who came from Bangalore to Hyderabad in the morning went directly from the Shamshabad Airport to meet the Chinna Jeeyar Swami at the Vedapatasala run by the Chinna Jeeyar Trust. Jagan met the Swami for over 30 minutes.
Jagan’s close aide and Rajya Sabha member Vijaysai Reddy and KCR’s close friend My Home Group owner Jupalli Rajeswara Rao have accompanied Jagan.
While many in politics say it as a common act, however, analysts opine that Jagan has some ‘hidden’ agenda as well behind taking ‘blessings’ of Jeeyar Swami.
Apparently, Jagan has been trying to offer an olive branch to BJP from longtime. Jagan is of the opinion that he could only beat TDP with the support of BJP. Even BJP has ‘encouraged’ Jagan and TDP simultaneously and played it very smart keeping the next general elections in mind.
However, post debacle of YSRCP in Nandyal by-election and Kakinada Municipal polls, BJP has made up its mind to sail with TDP in 2019 as well. Now, BJP is no mood to pair up with Jagan who is on a downward spiral.
But YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is in no mood to give up. Jagan ‘s meeting with Chinna Jeeyar Swami is also an indication to BJP that he has Hindu orientation as well besides being a staunch Christian. In fact, political experts say that Jagan is banking on Jeeyar Swami to coordinate between BJP, YSRCP and TRS and make it a grand alliance.
On other hand, TRS too wooing BJP but in vain. Is Jagan-Jeeyar Swami’s meeting really has more than what it looks? Only time will tell.
Petrol & Diesel Prices Goes Down Suddenly
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government has come to the rescue of people who faced big difficulty with spiraling fuel prices. The union government ha cut basic excise duty on petrol and diesel by Rs 2 per litre from Wednesday.
With this, the fuel prices will go down by Rs 2 per litre across the country. Petrol and diesel prices hit the roof ever since the centre announced daily revision of prices.
The Union Finance Ministry said that the government took decision to reduce excise duty to protect the interest of the common man.
“Revenue loss on a/c (account) of these reductions in excise duty is about Rs.26,000 crore in full year (and) Rs13,000 crore in remaining part of Current FY,” the Arun Jaitley-headed Ministry of Finance tweeted.
The ministry also claimed that the basic excise duty on petrol and diesel has been reduced in order to “cushion the impact of rising international prices of crude petroleum oil & petrol & diesel on their Retail Sale Prices.”

Baahubali 2 on same time in all langauges
Baahubali: The Conclusion is the biggest ever hit in the history of Indian cinema. This SS Rajamouli’s directorial won the hearts of the audience and all the actors got exceptional response for their performance.
The movie released during summer and is now set to be screened on small screen. Baahubali: The Conclusion will have its television premiere in all the languages on October 8th. Star network acquired the satellite rights of the movie for a massive price.
The Hindi version of the film will be screened at 1 PM on Sony MAX. The Tamil premiere will start at 3 PM while the Telugu premiere will be screened at 5 PM on Star MAA. This is something quite interesting for an Indian film as the television premiere has been planned on the same day in all the languages.
Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka, Ramya Krishna and Tamannaah are the lead actors in Baahubali: The Conclusion which has been produced by Arka Media Works.
