Going on vacations with friends is one of the best ways to forget work-related tensions, pressures and have a memorable and cherishing time.

Here are a couple of pictures taken during a holiday by the four current sensations of Tollywood – the very hawt and sassy Seerat Kapoor, bold and bubbly Shalini Pandey of ‘Arjun Reddy’ fame, Hebah Patel, the gorgeous ‘Kumari’ who stole the hearts of Telugu youth and the charismatic Ritika Singh, who essayed the badass boxer in Venkatesh’s ‘Guru’.

They do look to have had a hell of a time together in Dubai.

Tamil Hero In Savyasachi!

Tamil actor R Madhavan who has been seen in romantic roles during the start of his career has been re-inventing himself as an actor. His recent films have been critically acclaimed and the actor is all set to make his Telugu debut with a straight film.

He has been asked to play a crucial role in Naga Chaitanya’s next film which will be directed by Chandoo Mondeti. The film is said to be an action thriller and it has been titled Savyasachi.

Chandoo gave a brief narration to Madhavan recently about his character and the movie after which the actor gave a positive nod. Madhavan has been excited about the film however he is yet to reveal his decision about signing the film. Savyasachi is currently in final stages of pre-production and it will start rolling from October.

Naga Chaitanya who is on a break for his marriage will start shooting for the film after he returns back from his holiday. Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling this project.

Who Is Real Mahanubhavudu?

Mahanubhavudu in Sharwanand and Maurti combination generated curiosity for its content and atypical protagonist characterization suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). People suffering with OCD have unwanted and repeated behaviors that drive them to do something over and over to get rid of their obsessive thoughts.

Sharwanand in the film is an OCD patient with repeated behavior for cleanliness. Director Maruti seems to have made enough fun of this disorder which has become the USP of film. Maruti says, he found few of such persons in day to day life that inspired him to pen the script.

In fact, one person in Mahanubhavudu team has also got such disorder and he is none other than music director SS Thaman. He has got the habit of changing his shoe socks in multiple numbers in each day. Isn’t this really funny to have such character within the team? This could have made Thaman to get so hooked with subject as the music he composed for Mahanubhavudu is winning all the applause.

Sharwanand is also learnt to have performed the protagonist character flawlessly and UV Creations promises one more hilarious wholesome riot in theaters from Sep 29th.

Sachin Gifts Sehwag a BMW Worth Rs.1 Cr

Indian cricket legend and Rajya Sabha MP Sachin Tendulkar, who had last gifted swanky cars to Olympians PV Sindhu, Sakshi Malik, Dipa Karmakar and Badminton coach Pullela Gopichand after the conclusion of Rio Olympics last year, now stumped former India opener Virender Sehwag with a luxurious gift.

Just recently, Sehwag took to twitter to thank Sachin for gifting him a BMW 7 series car, worth a whopping Rs 1.14 crore. Neither Sachin nor Sehwag divulged the reason for this swanky gift.

It is known that Sehwag and Sachin were together one of India’s most successful opening pairs. They are known to share a warm relationship off the field too. Sachin on many a times lauded Sehwag as a ‘true champion’ and that it was an absolute joy to play alongside him.

Sehwag on the other hand revers Sachin and calls him a huge inspiration. The best compliment he has ever given to Sachin is by referring him as the man ‘who could stop time in India’.

US Premieres: SPYder Failed to Beat Khaidi No.150

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s latest outing ‘SPYder’, which seemed all poised to break the non-Baahubali US premieres held by Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Khaidi No.150’, fell well short of the expectations.

As per trade reports, SPYder collected close to $1 million from premieres held in 300 locations in US (a few centres yet to report so the the final number will be updated very soon). Going by the strong advance ticket booking, the film was expected to rake in around $1.5 million from premieres but it couldn’t go past 1 million.

Nonetheless, this is the second highest number of 2017 and the fourth overall. Baahubal 2, Baahubali and Khaidi No.150 still retain the Top 3 places. The film comfortably beat Jr.NTR’s “Jai Lava Kusa”, which had collected $588K from premieres.

SPYder is the fourth film starring Mahesh, after Brahmotsavam, Srimanthudu and Aagadu, to collect more than half a million dollar with premiers. Mahesh is the only hero to have 4 films in the Top 10 list of US Premieres grossers.

With mixed talk and impending threat with Sharwanand’s ‘Mahanubhavudu’, Spyder may have difficulty in recovering the investment.

Gorgeous actress Samantha is all set to enter her wedding lock on October 6th with actor Naga Chaitanya. The actress is busy wrapping up all her current commitments and will take a break for her wedding.

The latest news is that Samantha has been approached for the biopic of Indian women cricketer Mithali Raj who set new benchmarks with her performance. She is the only women cricketer to score 6000 international runs.

Viacom 18 Motion Pictures has been in talks with the cricketer after which the biopic has been announced to be made in multiple languages. However we are yet to know if Samantha play a crucial role or reprise the Indian star cricketer on screen.

There are talks that the makers are in plans to produce the film separately in all the Indian languages. This will be Samantha’s first film post marriage in case if it comes true.

Bigg Boss reality show has fetched recognition to all the participants but if we have to name one contestant who reaped maximum stardom with the show, it is actress Oviya Helen. She was the center of attraction in Tamil Bigg Boss until she got eliminated.

Oviya has now signed a new film that stars young Telugu hero Aadi Saikumar in lead role. Titled ‘Kaatteri’, the film marks the Tamil debut of Aadi. It is a horror comedy. In fact, Aadi is currently awaiting the release of his first ever horror comedy, “Next Nuvve”, which is slated to hit screens on November 3.

Tamil director Deekay, who directed “Yaamirukka Bhayame”, the original version of “Next Nuvve”, is directing Aadi in “Kaatteri”, which will be made as a Telugu-Tamil bilingual. The makers have recently released the first look poster of the film and it looks promising. The shooting of the movie will start from October this year.

Meanwhile, Oviya is set to make her debut in Telugu film industry with Tarun’s comeback film, ‘Idi Naa Love Story’. The film looked all set to release a few months ago but it got postponed indefinitely.

The leading ladies to reprise the role of Kangana Ranaut in the remake of ‘Queen’ in all the South languages have been finalized at last.

The Tamil remake starring Kajal Aggarwal and titled ‘Paris Paris’ was recently launched officially. The shooting of Kannada remake starring Parul Yadav, with ‘Butterfly’ title, has already commenced. Actor-filmmaker Ramesh Aravind is directing both the Tamil and Kannada remakes. The Telugu remake will star Tamanna and it will be directed by National Award winning filmmaker Neelakanta.

Now, beautiful Malayali actress Manjima Mohan, who made her Telugu film debut with Naga Chaitanya’s “Saahasam Swasaga Saagipo”, has been roped in for the Malayalam remake titled ‘Zam Zam’. She called it her privilege to enact the lead role in such an acclaimed film.

Amy Jackson will be seen as the heroine’s friend in all the four versions.

Rajasekhar’s Mother Passes Away

Senior Telugu actor Rajasekhar’s mother, Aandal Varadharajan, passed away in Hyderabad this morning. She breathed her last while undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital.

Aandal, 82, was survived by three sons and two daughters. Rajasekhar was her second child. Her last rites will reportedly be performed tomorrow in Chennai.

Former US President Obama said dropping his eldest daughter Malia off at college felt like undergoing an open-heart surgery for him.

Delivering an emotional speech at an event for the Beau Biden Foundation on Monday, Obama said that he was proud of himself for not crying in front of his daughter when he brought her to start her freshman year at Harvard University. He called it a very difficult moment for him as a father. “All fathers who have daughters, may feel the same,” he said.

“At the end of our lives, whatever else we’ve accomplished, the things that we’ll remember are the joys that our children, and hopefully way later, our grandchildren bring us,” the ex-President said.
