Popular producer Dil Raju has been unstoppable this year as he already tasted four blockbusters in a row with Shatamanam Bhavathi, Nenu Local, Duvvada Jagannadham and Fidaa. His next production Raja the Great is all set for release during Diwali and the makers unveiled the theatrical trailer last night. Anil Ravipudi directed the movie and Ravi Teja played the lead role. He will be seen as a visually challenged person in the film.

During his speech, Dil Raju said “I watched the film couple of days ago and I confident that Raja the Great will break the jinx of films releasing for Diwali. Raja the Great is the fifth blockbuster for our banner this year and Nani’s MCA will be the sixth this year. I count every film like a ball and we are scoring our fifth boundary (a six) with Raja the Great. Congrats to Anil Ravipudi and Ravi Teja for their exceptional work”.

Mehreen essayed the female lead and Sai Kartheek composed the music. Produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations, Raja the Great will hit the screens on October 18th all over.

NTR’s “Jai Lava Kusa” has managed to find an audience for itself despite mixed word of mouth and new releases. By the end of its two weeks of run, Jai Lava Kusa’s total earnings at worldwide box office stand at approx Rs 129 Cr with a distributor share of 73 Cr.

In the Telugu states, the film raked in Rs 9.40 Cr share in the 2nd week, which is the 3rd highest week two of 2017 behind Baahubali 2 (42.25 Cr) and Khaidi No.150 (13 Cr). The two weeks total total share reached to 55.3 Cr with a gross of 92.5 Cr.

Trade analysts predict the film to collect 80 Cr worldwide share in its full run, and finish at All Time Top 6 in Telugu film industry as the film has got one more week of easy run, thanks to the absence of notable performers except Mahanubhavudu.

In this age when films of even star heroes make their way to Small Screen within a few months after their theatrical release, here is one biggie which is gearing up to have its world TV premiere 2 years after its release, a very rare scenario.

The film in news is, Anushka and Allu Arjun starrer historical epic, ‘Rudramadevi’. Released on 9th October, 2015, this Gunasekhar directorial is going to have its world TV premiere on 15th October 2017. The reason for this much delay is said to be the reluctance of director-producer Gunasekhar in selling the satellite rights as he wasn’t being offered the amount he was expecting.

The satellite rights were finally bagged by ETV after prolonged negotiations. We need to see how well the film attracts viewers after so much delay.

King Nagarjuna has been quite cautious on his next project Raju Gari Gadhi 2 which is said to be a horror comedy. Directed by Omkhar, the entire shoot of the film has been wrapped up and Nag wanted the film to hit the screens at the right time.Samantha and Seerat Kapoor played other pivotal roles in Raju Gari Gadhi 2 which completed all the censor formalities today. The movie has been awarded U/A certificate.

Raju Gari Gadhi 2 has been passed without any cuts and the censor board members appreciated the film for the emotional content and horrifying episodes. Raju Gari Gadhi 2 has been made on a decent budget and the trailer ended up impressive.

Anchor turned actress Rashmi Gautam is in the news recently for her bold statements. During her recent live Facebook chat, she received comments that her next outing Next Nuvve will end up as a debacle for which she replied saying that the film’s result is not in one’s hands. Not stopping there, netizens asked her about dating, her affair with ‘Jabardasth’ fame Sudheer and other cheap stuff.

What is to be admired is that Rashmi handed all that criticism bravely and showcased how a woman with iron-fist could answer it. “I have been frequently asked about dating Sudigali Sudheer. We are close friends and we bond well on sets. We are working together for Jabardasth and Dhee from last five years, and that lead to mushrooming of several rumours. But I’m equally close to others as well and there is nothing sort of an affair between us” she said.

“We are not much bothered about the rumours and they are quite common as we are of same age. Also, I like Sudheer’s skits a lot as they are quite enjoyable, which doesn’t mean skits of other Jabardasth teams are not that fun”, she further added.
