Earnings in the film industry will be very fruitful if all the projects are resulting in successes. And sometimes these film projects can bring anyone to roads, fearing which many celebs invest in other businesses such that they will be safe during tough times.

A famous hero, his brother and their friend did the same thing long time back. Though the hero has a successful career for a long time, he got faded out a couple of years ago and busy doing other characters upon request. At the same time, this hero’s brother has quit films long back and started a company. Recently an investor in this company, who is a good friend of hero and his brother, made a movie and lost heavily.

A little digging into the matter revealed that this friend, our hero and hero’s brother had got completely washed out due to their poorest strategies in a software and animation company. We hear that they are nowhere near a saveable point that anyone could bring them back to safe shores.

The only way is, either a big hero should give them dates for free, or the fading out hero should switch his ways and earn differently.

For both critics and audiences, the game of Jai Lava Kusa appeared little interesting in the second half only. Typical eye feels that Jr NTR’s Jai character arrived at right time and saved the film. As the momentum picked up after the arrival of this character, it bagged all the credit.

But if we observe, the dynamics of the film picked up at the interval with versatile actor Sai Kumar arriving as a cop, then revealing his true identity. And then his character narrates the whole of second half giving the much-needed hype, pace and boost the film. Definitely, we have to agree that he is a secret ingredient who changed the game.

However, Sai Kumar is not the original choice picked by Jr NTR, but he’s brought in by director Bobby. Though NTR checked from North to South all the way to find one big actor to play that role, he has got tired. Speaking about this, Bobby revealed that NTR ran out of all the options due to various reasons and then asked him about the actor who in his mind for the role. Then Bobby has revealed that Saikumar is on his mind from the beginning after which Nandamuri Brothers have brought him onboard.

Had Jr NTR brought some other actor like a Mohan Lal in Janata Garage for this role played by Saikumar, the film would have got more hype, but audiences would have got disappointed that have to hear some dubbing voice yet again for the narrative part.

After a long wait and few missed chances to be a part of Mahesh babu movie, Rakul finally got into Spyder. Unfortunately, her role was designed at awful best and one wonders how she agreed to act in such unimportant role, though she remains the main female lead of the film. Her character given by Murugadoss turned hot topic, as her roles in previous films like Nannaku Prematho and recent Jaya Janaki Nayaka were involving and important too. Though some of her roles were just glam dolls, she grew to top league by choosing worthy roles. Now that the role played by her in Spyder could not impress Telugu audience and not even her fans.

Rakul gets introduced in the film as a nerdy girl loves to have sex, after she watches porn for hours together. She defines a logic of improving her academic score to 98 percent, only by staying away from ‘love’ yet she wants to have sex on a blind date only to gain her focus and concentration back. She appears for a few times in the first half just before the songs and not even for that time in second half. Being one of the top league actresses in Telugu cinema, Rakul could have chosen a better role to play rather going ahead with a porn watching-sex craving nerdish girl.

Looks like she signed in the film only because she did not want to miss a chance to act with Mahesh babu. It is better if Rakul tries to bag decent roles, and just being a glam doll is way better than her awkward role in Spyder.

We have read about the gradual fuel hike in last few months and to keep a control on it, union government is looking to bring a new policy that would ease things for consumers.

Underlining the importance of safety while driving, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday passed orders to all fuel stations in state to decline petrol and diesel from tomorrow – if two wheelers fail to wear helmet and 4-wheelers fail to wear seat belt while driving. The new orders passed by state government will come into effect from Thursday, announced CMO to the media.

Let’s look into ten Key decisions taken by AP government:

– Wearing Helmet and seat belt is must in Andhra Pradesh state.

– Released 10 Crore funds for equipment required for highway safety.

– Enhancing accountability in Police and Transport department.

– Constrain Over-load Autos which are causing more number of accidents.

– Mulling the idea of setting up GPS system to all vehicles in state.

– Establishment of rehabilitation centers to take care of those affected due to road accidents.

– Vehicles such as 108 which are used for road-safety will be geo-tagged and it will notify the accident information to all near by vehicles.

– Speed governance to all school buses and other passenger vehicles in state.

– CM advised a specially designed mobile application to instantly notify the accident information to near by public and private hospitals.

– Finally, appreciated the efforts of state police & transport departments for good amount of depreciation in road accidents in state.

Now, rumours on Samantha’s political entry!

There is no dearth of imaginations for people to make wildest speculations, as long as they are harmless and interesting.

Now, the latest speculation is that the Akkineni family is planning to enter politics in Telangana and that the person who is going to make a political debut is none other than the would-be-daughter-in-law Samantha.

It is learnt Samantha is already interested in politics, which was evident from the way she is moving in the circles of Telangana Rashtra Samithi. Because of her interest in politics, Telangana government made her brand ambassador for Telangana handlooms.

So far so good. The speculations went to the extent of finalising the constituency Samantha would be contesting and who her political rival would be.

According to these rumours, the TRS might field Samantha from Secunderabad constituency, which has sizeable number of Christians. Since Samantha is a Christian, she can attract a good number of votes.

At present, Secunderabad constituency is represented by excise minister T Padma Rao, who would be shifted to Secunderabad parliamentary constituency to facilitate Samantha to contest.

And her rival in the constituency would be senior actress Jayasudha, who had represented it between 2009 and 2014. She had resigned from the Congress and joined the TDP and so, she might prefer to contest from Secunderabad again. Since she is also a Christian, there would be a tough fight between junior and senior actresses.

Well, there is no confirmation from the Akkineni family on these speculations. The family is now busy with the arrangements for marriage between Naga Chaitanya and Samantha. And 2019 is still a long way to go!

Lotus Pond to shift to Amaravati shortly!

If everything goes as per the schedule, YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is all set to shift his Lotus Pond office in Hyderabad, where the party state headquarters is located, to Vijayawada in a week or two.

According to party sources, Jagan would start functioning from his new party office located at PWD grounds adjoining Bandar road in Vijayawada shortly. The office building is nearing completion and will be ready within a week’s time. It is constructed on the land of YSRCP leader Golusu Pardhasaradhi in 6000 square feet.

Jagan has already announced that he would shift his house and office to Amaravati, the new capital region of Andhra Pradesh this year.

The new building at Vijayawada has all the arrangements for Jagan and other party functionaries. There are special rooms are going to be allotted for Legislature party meetings and video conferences. It is learnt work on Jagan’s chamber and other senior leaders rooms is in progress and will be completed shortly.

However, it is only temporary. Once the new building near Mangalagiri is completed, the state headquarters would be shifted there, party sources said.

Jagan Needs A Second-In-Command!

There is no doubt that YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy is a valiant fighter and has been taking the mighty Telugu Desam Party and its president N Chandrababu Naidu single handedly.

However, as has been reported in these columns in the past, Jagan does not have a back-up leader who leads the party from the front in his absence or implements his decisions with full authority.

Every decision has to be taken by Jagan and every authority vests only with him. This is the general feeling being expressed by his own party leaders. So, there is no second-in-command in the party, who can take shoulder the party’s responsibility and do crisis management.

Nobody knows what is in Jagan’s mind and nobody dares to ask him what step they should further.

If there is a disgruntlement in the party and if any leader decides to quit, there is none who can negotiate with him or her so that they would remain in the party. Only if Jagan comes to know about it, he will ask the seniors to look into the issue, but the ultimate decision lies with Jagan himself.

The other day, there was a report that YSRC MP from Kurnool Butta Renuka is contemplating shifting loyalties to the TDP. When it was brought to Jagan’s notice, he just ignored it. Nobody, on behalf of Jagan, could talk to Renuka as to why she wants to leave the party.

Nobody could assure her that she would be given the party ticket for the Kurnool MP seat again in 2019 or she would be shifted to the assembly so that she could become a minister if Jagan comes to power.

So is the case with several other leaders, whose fate is in the hands of Jagan and nobody else. If there is a second in command in the party, such issues could be handled easily. And what is more important is that there is none who has been entrusted with the responsibility of mobilising funds for the party.

If this situation continues, Jagan might have to face a tough time before the elections!

Tamil Hero In Savyasachi!

Tamil actor R Madhavan who has been seen in romantic roles during the start of his career has been re-inventing himself as an actor. His recent films have been critically acclaimed and the actor is all set to make his Telugu debut with a straight film.

He has been asked to play a crucial role in Naga Chaitanya’s next film which will be directed by Chandoo Mondeti. The film is said to be an action thriller and it has been titled Savyasachi.

Chandoo gave a brief narration to Madhavan recently about his character and the movie after which the actor gave a positive nod. Madhavan has been excited about the film however he is yet to reveal his decision about signing the film. Savyasachi is currently in final stages of pre-production and it will start rolling from October.

Naga Chaitanya who is on a break for his marriage will start shooting for the film after he returns back from his holiday. Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling this project.

Mahanubhavudu in Sharwanand and Maurti combination generated curiosity for its content and atypical protagonist characterization suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). People suffering with OCD have unwanted and repeated behaviors that drive them to do something over and over to get rid of their obsessive thoughts.

Sharwanand in the film is an OCD patient with repeated behavior for cleanliness. Director Maruti seems to have made enough fun of this disorder which has become the USP of film. Maruti says, he found few of such persons in day to day life that inspired him to pen the script.

In fact, one person in Mahanubhavudu team has also got such disorder and he is none other than music director SS Thaman. He has got the habit of changing his shoe socks in multiple numbers in each day. Isn’t this really funny to have such character within the team? This could have made Thaman to get so hooked with subject as the music he composed for Mahanubhavudu is winning all the applause.

Sharwanand is also learnt to have performed the protagonist character flawlessly and UV Creations promises one more hilarious wholesome riot in theaters from Sep 29th.
