Bunny Waiting For Jai Lava Kusa Result

Share

No matter what critics say, Allu Arjun is proving time and again at the box office that he’s a money machine whose films will work irrespective of the content inside. His films like Sarrainodu and DJ Duvvada Jagannadham which collected more than 70+ crores are the typical examples of this phenomenon.

Currently, this talented mega hero gave a chance to writer Vakkantam Vamsi, such that the proved writer will now show his direction talents. Titled “Na Peru Surya,” the film’s shooting is going on at a brisk pace. And Bunny is now looking forward to seeing how this triple role of Jr NTR will click at the box office. Why? Does he desire to make one such feat?

Other day we hear that director KS Ravindra has narrated a story to Allu Arjun through Kona Venkat’s mediation. Like every time, the mega hero got pretty excited, but he wants to take a call about this project only after looking at the result of Jai Lava Kusa. Though Allu Arjun never cares for the hit/flop stature of a director, as he worked with the likes of Boyapati even after they delivered a flop. But, what he wants to check is how KS Ravindra’s ideas are working at the box office.

A source revealed us, “If Jai Lava Kusa scores a hit, then Allu Arjun will accept the story of KS Ravindra as it is, if that under performs, then he will be suggesting significant changes to the script. But a film will surely happen”.

Bald, Fat Hero Vs. Bold, Fit Hero

Share

Here we are not comparing two heroes, but a hero is being compared to two different times. He’s none other than Arvind Swamy, the handsome lad who made the whole of South fidaa with his looks and acts in movies like Roja and Bombay.

Apparently a few years back, a picture has emerged from nowhere and shocked many cinema lovers. It’s none other Arvind Swamy who appeared with a bald head and fatso look. That missing hair on his scalp is a worry for his fans from opposite sex, while his growing tummy has upset even his admirers among men too.

And then, Mr. Swamy decided to come back to films and he essayed the role of a Church Father in Maniratnam’s Kadali wherein he covered his hair with a wig (or maybe sported a permanent one he got with hair transplantation) but left his physique as is. While some are happy, many are not convinced.

As time passed, he worked on the physique too and impressed with his manly looks as Siddharth Abhimanyu in the movie Dhruva. Furthermore, he has chiseled a six-pack like a body in no time and now he’s getting ready to flaunt that in the upcoming Tamil film Vanangamoodi. Check those pictures and you’ll surely go jaw dropping for his bold and fit looks.

Passion, hard work, and commitment are the major differences in these two pictures apart transforming himself from bald and fat to bold and fit. Way to go Arvind Swamy!!

Asus Zenfone 4 Series All Set To Debut In India Next Week: All You Need To Know

Share

Taiwanese smartphone-maker Asus is gearing up to launch the new Zenfone 4 series smartphones in India next week.

The company has officially begun sending invites to media for a product launch event in New Delhi on September 14. Asus has confirmed in the invite it will reveal a new smartphone series, which is mostly likely the Zenfone 4 series.

The company has, in the invite, also emphasised the importance on photos, hinting that it would be showcasing only select models — especially the camera-centric Zenfone 4, 4 Pro, 4 Selfie and Selfie Pro — out of the total six announced in Taiwan last month.

Asus Zenfone 4 & Pro series:

The generic Zenfone 4 sports a 5.5-inch full HD super-AMOLED screen with fingerprint sensor-cum-home button, an 8MP front-snapper, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630/660 CPU (depending on region of sale), 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB storage, Android Nougat, NFC (Near Field Communication) and a 3,300mAh battery.

One key attribute of the Zenfone 4 and other 4 series models is they come with dual-camera. For the standard variant, the company has incorporated a 12MP (main) + 8MP (120-degree Field of View) with Sony IMX362 OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation), F/1.8 aperture.

The Zenfone 4 Pro features almost the same design feature, display resolution and front camera specifications, but differs in certain aspects such as a faster and more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor, 6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB storage and a bigger 3,600mAh battery.

Even the camera gets bumped up in the Pro version, which houses 16MP+12MP (wider 120-degree Field of View) dual shooters with OI and larger f/1.7 aperture.

Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie and Pro series:

Asus’ new Zenfone 4 Selfie and Selfie Pro models share the same design language and some internal hardware such as a 5.5-inch screen, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 16MP rear-camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 3,000mAh battery. Rest of the features are different.

The top-end of the, variants Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro houses a superior full-HD resolution AMOLED display with 12MP dual-camera with f/1.7 aperture and dedicated LED flash support on the front and a more efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core CPU

The generic Zenfone 4 Selfie sports an HD (1280x720p)-resolution screen with 20MP (f/2.0 aperture)+8MP (120-degree wide angle viewing) dual-camera on the front and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor.

Asus Zenfone 4 Max & Max Pro series:

Asus also unveiled the battery-centric Zenfone 4 Max and Pro version in the Taiwan. Both models share most of the specifications, such as a 5.5-inch HD (1280x720p), Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 or 430 (depending on the region of sale), 2GB/3GB, 32GB internal storage and a massive 5,000mAh battery, which can keep the phone running for two full days under mixed usage.

Key difference between the two is the camera hardware. The generic Zenfone 4 Max houses a 13MP+5MP dual camera setup and an 8MP front snapper (with f/2.2 aperture). On the other hand, the Zenfone 4 Max Pro features 16MP+8MP shooters on the back and a 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Both models feature 120-degree field of view and f/2.0 aperture.

How much will Asus Zenfone 4 series cost in India?

As per the press release, Asus Zenfone 4 is priced $399 (€340/Rs 25,590) and the Zenfone Pro will set you back by $599(€510/Rs 38,417). The Zenfone 4 Selfie and the Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro cost $279 (€238/Rs 17,894) and $379(€323/Rs 24,307), respectively.

On the other hand, the Zenfone 4 Max is the cheapest of the lot and costs $235 (€200/Rs 15,072), but the Zenfone 4 Max Pro is expected to be revealed during local launch events.

We expect the prices of the new Asus phones to be more or less the same in India.

Asus Zenfone 4 series will be initially released in Taiwan followed by select Asian markets, Europe and the US in coming months.

Mokshu’s B’day: Nandamuri Yuvasena Bad Behavior!

Celebrating Nandamuri scion Mokshagna’s birthday yesterday, a group of students from an engineering college in Kanchikacharla of Krishna district have reportedly created havoc on national highway.

The students identified in the name of Nandamuri Yuvasena allegedly partied hard aside of Perakalapadu road. And allegedly created a mini mayhem of sorts on National Highway by driving cars, bikes as a rally from cross road upto Kanchikacharla.

With this, it caused a great inconvenience to workers who are doing repairs on NH. Allegedly, the plastic cones that were placed as an indication, safety for workers were damaged in the rally.

When workers reached the police station to lodge a complaint, NHAI (National Highway Authorities of India) officials stepped in to pacify the workers and brought the situation to normal.

Google Pixel 2 Series Tipped To Boast IP68 Water-Resistant Durable Certification

Share

The much awaited Google Pixel 2 (& XL 2) series, which is rumoured to hit markets early next month, are tipped to come with upgraded camera and more durable exterior cover.

Technology blog, 9to5Google claims to have got their hands on the pictures and also hardware details of the upcoming Google Pixel 2 series. In the intentionally blurred (to protect the source inside the company) photo, we see the rear camera with LED flash and two dots below it, which are believed to be the send and receive sensors of Laser Autofocus system.

Tipster has also confirmed that Google Pixel 2017 series will be more durable than first generation, as they are coming with IP68 certifications. This meaning the Pixel 2 series device owners will be able to take it for a dip in the swimming pool, close to five feet underwater up to 30 minutes and even be able to take/make calls. You could even snap underwater photos as well.

The previous edition has just the IP53 certification. And the Google Pixel series owners could safely answer calls during rain. But taking the phone along for a swim was unthinkable.

Google Pixel 2 series: All you need to know

As it did last year, Google is launching two phones, a generic Pixel 2 (aka Walleye) and big-screen Pixel 2 XL (aka Taimen), which are going to replace the first generation Pixel and the Pixel XL.

The Pixel XL 2 is said to sport a 5.99-inch QHD (2560x1440p) OLED display (made by LG) with thin bezel design language and boasts of AOD (Always-On-Display) feature.

On the back, it is expected flaunt a dual-tone glass and metal finish similar to the 2016-series models. However, there will be minor changes in design; the glass will cover only the topmost part, while most of the rear will have metal. The fingerprint scanner will be out of glass enclosure.

Inside, it will house 4GB RAM, 64GB/128GB storage and a 3,000 (or more) mAh battery.

Google has decided to keep a single primary camera on the back with dual-tone LED flash, EIS (Electronics Image Stabilisation) for enhanced low-light images.

On the other hand, the generic Pixel 2 (4.97-inch) is also expected to have an almost identical design language as the last year’s generic 5-inch Pixel phone. But, the successor might be devoid of a 3.5mm audio jack port, as Google intends to use the additional space for stereo speakers.

It is said to flaunt a full-HD display (1920x1080p) with AOD feature and comes with 4 GB RAM and 64GB storage.

Speculations are rife that Google has borrowed HTC U11’s key feature — the “Edge Sense” squeezable frame technology — for its Pixel 2 series, and intends to call it the “Active Edge.”

For the uninitiated, HTC Edge Sense technology offers users the ability to trigger advanced touch capabilities and use a “short squeeze” as well as a “squeeze and hold” for more functionalities. Since Edge Sense takes inputs based on the pressure applied to the side of the device, it can be used in nearly any condition – including rainy weather that would normally pose a challenge with capacitive buttons.

In the Pixel 2 series, it is expected to be used to trigger Google Assistant, and launch the camera and perform other features depending on the finger pressure and location on the frame.

Both the Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL are expected to come packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, same as seen in rival brands such as HTC U11, LG V30 and OnePlus 5, among others.

Google is likely to host product launch event on October 5 to showcase the new Pixel 2 series phones. Stay tuned.

Nandyal By-poll Betting Results in A Man’s Death

Share

In a tragic incident, a petty betting held on the recently concluded Nandyal By-Poll, claimed the life of a man in West Godavari District.

Going into details, TDP supporter Siva and YCP supporter Goli Srinivas, both belonging to Mahadevapatnam in WG district, held a small betting on the majority with which TDP would win the election. While Siva claimed TDP would get 16,000+ votes majority, the YCP supporter differed. The betting amount was Rs 5,000, and a man named Suryanarayana (55) was chosen as the middleman to settle the betting issue once the result was out.

After the result was declared, a scuffle took place between the two involved parties. During the heated argument, Goli Venkat, the brother of Srinivas, the YCP supporter who put Rs 5,000 at stake, hit on Suryanarayana’s head with an iron rod. The heavily-bleeding elderly man was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to the severe injury. Venkat has been taken into custody and police are enquiring him.

The tragic part of the story is, both the two people who involved in the betting are hale and hearty, and the one who took the job of middleman lost his life.

KCR Not Happy With Leaked Look!

Share

Here is the sneak peek of the proposed new Telangana secretariat. This new secretariat would cost a whopping Rs 300 crore to public exchequer and it is being planned to construct at the controversial Bison Polo lands in Hyderabad. It is proposed to construct three floor palatial building accommodating Chief Minister, Ministers, Secretaries and head of all departments. The design is conceived by a noted Mumbai based architecture firm.

Already, a section of social organisations and opposition parties are making a hue and cry against the new proposed secretariat as the existing secretariat is not so old and is in good shape, condition and it is alleged that the new secretariat would cost an additional burden on public money.

Meanwhile, trouble has begun with in the ruling party as CM is angry on R&B Minister T Nageswara Rao who has leaked the details to media even before CM has approved it. KCR was not happy with Minister Nageswara Rao for revealing the government plan to media when the proposal was yet to be finalised. KCR wanted to review the proposal with experts before it was made public.

It needs to be seen whether KCR would make any changes or would go with the current plan. At the moment, the new design of the Telangana secretariat is widely shared in political circuits.

How Can U.S. Stop North Korea Nukes?

Share

If the U.S. attacks North Korea, the world could see another nuclear war. Yet negotiations won’t work leader Kim Jong Un won’t live up to his promises even if he were to make any. And China if only it would help more!

Those sentiments have produced a collective shrug from many as they watch the North make rapid strides toward developing nuclear missiles capable of striking anywhere in the United States.

But Washington hasn’t tried everything yet.

Below, three experts offer ideas on how the U.S. might get out of its policy box on North Korea.

And none of them require firing a shot.

Deterrence — A familiar game for U.S.

Vipin Narang

Deterrence is about making sure your opponent has no good military moves. Kim Jong Un has proven to be pretty good at it.

Vipin Narang, a nuclear strategy and nonproliferation expert at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, believes U.S. policymakers need to let that sink in.

“Saying that this nuclear program has not augmented or improved North Korea’s ability to deter particular actions, especially regime change or invasion or disarmament, is simply denying reality and putting our head in the sand,” he said.

The good news is deterrence is a game the United States has played before.

“We know how to do this,” he said. “We did it with China and the Soviet Union and managed to reassure West Germany and Europe during the Cold War. There is no logical reason we cannot do it with North Korea. Kim is not crazy or irrational and responds to strategic and domestic incentives.”

Upping the game will require two things Narang believes are now lacking- a coherent and unified message to Pyongyang from President Donald Trump’s administration, and strong, believable reassurances to America’s regional allies.

Along with preventing a U.S. attack, North Korea’s nuclear weapons and missile tests are intended to create discord among the U.S., Japan and South Korea and, though it’s not an American ally China. If America’s ability to handle North Korea is in doubt, there is more pressure for South Korea and Japan to pursue independent strategies and even consider developing nuclear weapons of their own.

Moreover, the different messages coming from the White House, State Department and Department of Defense ranging from Trump threatening “fire and fury” to the more conciliatory tone of Secretary of State Rex Tillerson Pyongyang has more incentive to push ahead quickly to either take advantage of what it sees as weakness or bolster its capabilities ahead of what it fears to be a looming invasion.

“So long as this incoherence persists, it becomes very difficult to craft deterrent positions clearly and effectively,” Narang said. “At this point, the way forward it seems to me is to always keep the channel for negotiations open while simultaneously practicing deterrence and reassurance to our allies.”

And maybe one more thing. Tone down the tweets.

“When President Trump tweets the day after the alleged H—bomb test that South Korea should stop ‘appeasement’ of North Korea, Pyongyang can be nothing short of delighted at its strategy working,” Narang said.

Not China’s job

Joel Wit

Previous efforts to get North Korea to give up its nuclear weapons have leaned heavily on Beijing, and to a lesser extent Moscow, to enforce sanctions and apply political pressure. It’s an approach Trump seems to support wholeheartedly. Right after the North’s nuclear test Sunday, he tweeted that Pyongyang has become “a great threat and embarrassment to China, which is trying to help but with little success.”

But China’s and Russia’s national interests aren’t the same as Washington’s. Shifting the onus to them for a solution diminishes U.S. leadership and control, said Joel Wit, a senior fellow at the Johns Hopkins’ School of Advanced International Studies and a former State Department official who developed strategies to deal with the crisis over North Korea’s weapons program in the 1990s.

“Under the best of circumstances, China can play a supporting role, both in supporting limited pressure on the North and in supporting diplomatic outreach to Pyongyang,” he said. “But it has not and will not do what Washington wants solve this problem for the United States by creating overwhelming pressure.”

Even if Beijing went along, Wit said it still wouldn’t work- “The North Koreans are not going to roll over and play dead when faced with an existential threat to their regime. They will lash out.”

Wit also said the Trump administration will have “virtually no prospect of securing Chinese cooperation” if it insists that reining in North Korea is mainly a Chinese problem. He believes North Korea is already taking advantage of the growing split between Washington and Beijing to “sprint to the WMD (weapons of mass destruction) finish line.”

“The idea that this is the land of no good options leads everyone to move on,” he said. “Almost every foreign policy challenge facing the U.S. could be called the same thing. But this fatalistic attitude has permeated U.S. policy for over a decade and has led us to where we are today.”

The art of the deal

John Delury

If the U.S. is going to get what it wants, it has to know what it wants. And it will probably need to give up something to get it.

John Delury, an associate professor of Chinese studies at Yonsei University in Seoul, believes the most realistic path forward involves three steps- “dialogue, negotiation, settlement.”

“Without talking to Kim Jong Un or his senior advisers, we just don’t know who we are dealing with, what their positions are, what we can give them that they really want, and what we can get in return. That moves us into the negotiation, for short—term steps that reduce risks, decrease hostility, even build a little confidence.”

Washington’s focus should be clear and specific. Negotiators should push for a missile and nuclear test moratorium, a freeze on the production of nuclear weapons, the return of nuclear inspectors and increased transparency. There must also be nonproliferation commitments.

Delury stresses there must also be some give and take.

“For these things, things that are in U.S. interests, the Trump administration, in close consultation with Seoul and Tokyo, will have to consider what it is willing to do, or forego,” he said.

Pyongyang says it wants some sort of security guarantee and the removal of the U.S. nuclear threat from the Korean Peninsula. Neither would seem to be a good starter topic, but another item on Pyongyang’s list scaling back or canceling the U.S. military’s annual wargames with the South might be an area the two could at least talk about.

In the longer term, Delury says, the U.S. must directly address “the true heart of the matter, which is working on a political settlement” that fundamentally transforms the U.S.—North Korea relationship.

“Let’s call those ‘peace talks,’ for lack of a better phrase,” he said.

Technically, the countries have remained at war since 1953, when an armistice rather than a peace treaty ended fighting in the Korean War.

Delury said negotiations “should also involve a heavy dose of economic cooperation, since the only alternative to the status quo that might appeal to Kim Jong Un is a North Korea that is not only secure, but also prosperous.”

The hope is that more political and economic engagement would over time prompt the North to ease its authoritarian controls. But the negotiation process would undoubtedly be fraught with ambivalence and resistance on both sides.

“It’s true there are no easy answers, no quick fixes, no silver bullets,” he said. “Even if we made a determined effort to improve the relationship, it would be hard and slow going.

“So being realistic about dealing with North Korea is prudent. But the current level of fatalism is counterproductive to coming up with a better approach.”

Total Devastation’ As Irma Hits Caribbean Island Barbuda

Share

Hurricane Irma killed one person and left behind “total devastation” as the monster storm smashed into the tiny Caribbean island of Barbuda on Wednesday, the prime minister said.

“It is just total devastation, Barbuda now is literally rubble,” Prime Minister Gaston Browne said in the aftermath of the Category Five storm.

Speaking later on CNN, Browne said 95 percent of properties in Barbuda were damaged, with up to 30 percent demolished.

“It is absolutely heart-wrenching,” he said.

One person is known to have died, Browne said, apparently to be child whose mother was taking him or her to safety after the building they were in was damaged.

The airport was damaged and flights were unable to land. Badly-needed aid will have to be flown in by helicopter from Antigua, he added.

“We have estimated the rebuilding efforts to be no less than $100 million. That is conservative, because we’re talking about rebuilding everything, all of the institutions, the infrastructure, the telecommunications, the roads… Even the hotels on the island, those are totally demolished, as well. It is terrible.”

Located east of Puerto Rico, Barbuda has 1,600 residents and is the sister island of Antigua, which was spared the worst of the storm.
