Actor Rana Daggubati has been exploring different ways to entertain the audience along with movies. After making his debut as a host with No1 Yaari with Rana, the actor is now making his debut with a web series named Social.

The web series has been launched today officially and Rana revealed that all stories cannot be made as films. Every story has its place and should be told in the right way and on the right platform said Rana.

‘Not all the stories are meant to be told on big screen. After working for Social, I understood the medium better. We have no restrictions for short films and web series, they can be told in our own style. Audience turned busy and we are here to entertain them on different mediums’ says Rana.

‘Social, shows the darker side of social media and everyone will get related. It is not about showcasing it in a bad way and Social has a strong message for everyone’.

The recent reports about the Bollywood remake of Nani’s hit film ‘Ninnu Kori’ look quite a big joke. To know why, you need to read this background story.

Buzz is that Kona Venkat, who co-wrote and also co-produced ‘Ninnu Kori’ is holding talks with Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali to remake the Nani starrer in Hindi. Considering that Ninnu Kori is a class love story, an emotional subject that can connect to the Hindi audiences as well, the remake idea looks very much possible and believable. However, the man in discussion, Bhansali made this remake news look like a joke.

Before the release of ‘Ninnu Kori’, it was widely rumored that the Nani starrer is a freemake of Bhansali’s classic film ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ starring Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai and Ajay Devgn.

Responding to those comments, Kona had then clarified that he narrated the story of ‘Ninnu Kori’ to Bhansali and that he had no objections. However, after watching ‘Ninnu Kori’, it was quite clear that it was heavily inspired by the Hindi film.

Will Bhansali, who had directed the original ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ remake a Telugu film which was inspired by his film only? Lets wait and see.

Young actor Naga Chaitanya is testing his luck with an action thriller titled Yuddham Saranam. What’s so special about the film means, his childhood and close friend Krishna RV Marimuthu is making his directorial debut with this film. Chaitu revealed that Krishna was not offered a chance as he is his close friend and it was the script which drove them through this journey.

‘Krishna struggled for five years and he worked for various films. He worked on a script for over a year after which he narrated to me and Sai garu. We loved the script immensely and planned the schedules perfectly. The entire shoot has been wrapped up in 65 days. We concentrated much on the pre-production work. I had a dream of working with my close friend for a film and it is coming true with Yuddham Saranam. If you are working with a close friend, the result will be sure different. Yuddham Saranam will sure impress the audience big time’ said Naga Chaitanya.

Star Tamil hero Thala Ajith’s latest film Vivegam (Vivekam in Telugu) collecting 150 Cr at worldwide box office has become a sensation in South film industry as the film received divided talk.

The collections in the first weekend were staggering as the film was released amidst huge expectations. Trade pundits predicted the action thriller to take a nosedive after the first weekend but surprising many, the film held its ground.

And, as per the latest reports from Kollywood trade experts, the Ajith starrer has collected 150 Cr (100 Cr in first week and 50 in second week) worldwide gross.

It is reported in Kollywood media that Vivegam even surpassed the records set by Rajinikanth’s Kabali and Baahubali 2. After taking the highest opening at Chennai city box office on Day 1 by raking in 1.2 Cr, Vivegam has reportedly beaten the highest grosser in Chennai city, Baahubali 2 (8.2 Cr) by collecting 8.5 Cr so far. The film is predicted to amass 180 Cr gross in its full run.

Even after considering that the was released amidst sky-high expectations, the collections look unbelievable, but that’s what Kollywood folks have reported. There is no official report to ascertain these collections and many film folks on social media are ridiculing these tall box office claims as gimmicks of makers.
