Big Shock To Jagan, Rural People Reject YSRCP
The first two rounds of counting in Nandyal is indicating TDP’s victory in Nandyal by-poll. However, what is shocking is that the counting of first two rounds were from the rural areas in Nandyal. This is irony given belief that YSRCP has good base in the rural regions and TDP in urban areas.
Contrary to this, even the rural voters are with TDP. With this, political analysts indicate not less than 20 k – 30 k majority for TDP candidate Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy against YSRCP candidate Shilpa Mohan Reddy. The by-poll is facilitated after sitting MLA Bhuma Nagi Reddy (who won on YSRCP ticket and later joined TDP) died of cardiac arrest. Hence, it turned more significant for both TDP and YSRCP ahead of 2019 polls.
CM Chandrababu Naidu’s development plank, Bhuma family’s commitment and various other factors seem to have worked in favour of the ruling TDP. But as of now, only two rounds of counting is done and one needs to wait till complete counting.
Samantha Appreciates Tollywood’s Sensation
Thanks to all the controversies, trailer and immense hype, Arjun Reddy is a monster hit in Tollywood. The film is set to rake in 4-5 times the investment and exhibitors in many areas, particularly US, have reached the break-even by day-2 itself.
The efforts of director Sandeep Reddy and Vijay Devarakonda are slowly, but largely, getting the recognition from Industry. It was majorly the three-minute sneak-peak (trailer) that drew audiences to theaters but people from industry, particularly the top league actors, have kept mum about film’s grand success. Breaking the big-ice, leading actress Samantha took to Twitter and showered all the praise for Arjun Reddy.

Other actors who lauded this film include Nani, Varun Tej, Manoj Manchu, Anu Emmanuel, Mehreen Pirzada and Lakshmi Manchu. Considering the bold content the film is projecting, many people of industry are in an undecided state to offer a comment on Arjun Reddy. On other hand, the box-office numbers of Arjun Reddy are mind blowing.
The film has even surpassed Ajith Kumar’s Vivegam in United States.
Balayya Confirms Grandson’s Tollywood Entry
Actor Balakrishna has made interesting comments on the stage of Paisa Vasool audio success meet. While sharing trivia, Balayya said that he recently attended the 50 Years Celebrations of Fighters Association and recalling it he shared that his father Legendary NTR had attended the 25 years Celebrations of the union and continued that he promised to the Union Members that his son Mokshagna would attend the 75 years celebrations and his grandson Devansh would attend the 100 Years celebrations.
This has added more curiosity as Balayya included Devansh’s name alongside him, Mokshagna indicating that his grandson Nara Devansh would also don the grease paint and become a star on silver screen.
Balayya also said that he has already started working on his father NTR’s biopic and meeting various people including his Mamiaha to know more about late NTR. Balayya revealed that the second schedule of KS Ravi Kumar film’s shoot would be wrapped up soon and he would start biopic of his father.”In between, I wanted to do Rythu. But due to casting issues, the film didn’t materialise,” Balayya said at the do.
He even added that he is committed to do more films without compromising on quality as it provides employment for a lot of people.
Two Top Contestants Out From Bigg Boss
Comedian Dhanraj, who has been favourite Bigg Boss contestant and touted as winner of the Bigg Boss Telugu season 1 by many, is out of the show in the seventh week. The other contestant who was eliminated from the show in the week is Kathi Karthika.
Siva Balaji, Archana,Dhanraj and Karthika, were the four contestants, who got nominated for the elimination.As per ‘public voting’, Dhanraj and Kathi Karthika have been eliminated from the show.

Now the show turned more interesting as the number of contestants have come down to 8 who are vying up for to win the title Bigg Boss season 1 winner. While the chances are more likely for Navdeep, Hari Teja, Archana, Siva Balaji, it needs to be seen what’s in the store.

Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming action thriller Yuddham Sharanam trailer is out. After an eye-grabbing teaser, director Krishna RV Marimuthu released a trailer that gives clear idea about the plot and flow of the film.
A happy young guy’s (Chaitanya) life is disturbed because of a cut throat criminal (Srikanth). Now the young guy has to confront the criminal to regain control over his life.
The setup looks like a regular thriller with the hero having a happy family and a beautiful girlfriend (Lavanya Tripathi) but getting into trouble because of someone.
Srikanth as the villain is the surprise package of the trailer. His getup is spot on as he looks totally different from his typical nice guy roles. Can this film make him busy as the villain?

Is He The Next Power Star?
Pawan Kalyan became a big star just because of his following among the youth. He turned youth icon with films like Toli Prema, Tammudu and Khushi.

Jagan Takes Kakinada By Storm
The last day of electioneering in Kakinada Municipal Corporation witnessed some electrifying moments with YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy taking the town by storm.
Jagan adopted the same strategy which his arch rival, Telugu Desam Party president and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, adopted in Nandyal – campaigning in the final moments, thereby gaining the political advantage.
Right from the day he stepped in Kakinada in a massive rally from Rajahmundry airport, Jagan received tremendous response from the crowds in all his road shows.
And Jagan told the people it was the time they bid good bye to the cheats who go back on election promises and appealed to the electorate to teach those who go back on their assurances a fitting lesson.
“You have to teach those opportunists a fitting lesson through your vote. Naidu had given numerous promises during the elections and went back after coming to power and did not fulfill a single promise. Such people should be rejected outright,” he said.
Jagan called upon the people not to give credence to Chief Minister’s remark that the vote would become stale if voted to YSR Congress.
“In fact it is the other way round as a vote to TDP becomes stale as the ruling party has gone back on the poll promises,” he said.
