Reason Mahesh For Spyder Delay!
Spyder has been on the floors for longtime. Perhaps this is Mahesh’s long-delayed movie in the recent times. In fact, Mahesh had joined the film’s shoot right after Brahmotsavam. Yet the film is yet to complete its shoot. As the film is all set for release on September 27 – hardly a month from now, A song shoot is still pending.
Ask director AR Murugudoss about the long-delay. The auteur of films such as Tagore, Gajini clarifies, “The set up for Spyder is so huge and vast. Since it is a Telugu-Tamil bilingual, we took special care and made sure that each and every shot in Telugu and Tamil are different. Usually, in bilingual, things move at a slow pace. Since the film also has a lot of action and special effects involved, the post-production works needed more time. The works have been going on simultaneously in various countries and all these are taking a lot of time since we are not compromising on quality at all. Only one song is balance and the rest has been completed.”
Murugudoss add that making a bilingual film takes a lot of effort, time and it is not a “joke”. Murugudoss reiterates that the film is strictly a Telugu-Tamil bilingual but not for Hindi. “Although, the film’s story has universal appeal and can be made in Hindi, but right from the day we wrote the story, we have been keen on making in Telugu-Tamil alone. Making a bilingual itself is a Herculean task.“
Although it is a Telugu-Tamil bilingual, the film is going to be set in Hyderabad and this is common for the Tamil version as well. Murugudoss says that he has made a lot of changes in the last-minute to convince audience of all types.
After Spyder, Murugudoss is going to take a break for 4 months and he will start his next with Superstar Rajinikanth. Apparently, he narrated an impressive script to Rajini who immensely liked it and given the nod. However, it will not be a bilingual and will be a strictly Tamil film.
Why Rakul Called Sai Pallavi That Night?
In a recent interview, Rakul Preet Singh divulged about why she had called Sai Pallavi, the current sensation in Tollywood, at very late night on the day she had watched ‘Fidaa’.
‘After watching Fidaa, I fell in love with Sai Pallavi’s performance. I was so overwhelmed that I didn’t mind calling her at very late night to congratulate and appreciate her,’ Rakul reportedly revealed.
Pallavi too affirmed the nice gesture of Rakul. ‘I was tensed at first to have received the call at night but she grounded me with her nice words,’ said the ‘Fidaa’ beauty about Rakul.
Actually, Rakul had similarly appreciated Nivetha Thomas after watching ‘Ninnu Kori’. Rakul revealed all this when she was asked if she was insecure of the rise of the likes of Pallavi, Nivetha etc.
‘There are variety of films and equally variety of characters are being written, and makers will choose only those actresses who fit the bill. There is no need to feel insecure or jealous of others’ success as there is scope for all talented performers to succeed in Tollywood,’ she added.

As we have revealed earlier, makers of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 151st film have officially announced the film’s title as ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’. This biopic on Telugu freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy is being projected as the unsung story of India’s first freedom fighter.
Besides the title and impressive title logo, the stellar cast and crew of this magnum opus has also been revealed on the eve of Megastar’s birthday.
Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Jagapathi Babu, Kannada star hero and a well known actor to Telugu people, Kiccha Sudeep, Rising Tamil star hero Vijay Sethupathi and Lady Superstar of South Indian cinema, Nayanthara are playing crucial roles in the film.
If the actors of Sye Raa are all stalwarts, the Technicians are no less popular either. Double-Oscar award winning composer AR Rahamn, Renowned cinematographer Ravi Varman (Cheliyaa, Aparichithudu, Dasavatharam, 7th Sense etc. are just a few of his visual wonders) and noted art director Rajeevan (Manam, Nenokkadine etc.) are working on this magnum opus besides director Surender Reddy.
The presence of Sr Bachchan and AR Rahman can attract the attention of Bollywood towards this Telugu biggie. Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Sudeep can turn the heads of Tamil and Kannada film industries. Makers have promised to include many more renowned actors and technicians to breath life into this story of Uyyalawada, an unsung Telugu hero of British era.
There is no clarity on whether the makers keep the same title for all versions, especially Hindi.
Cheap Kanduva Politics!
A rumour has spread like wild-fire in Nandyal the other day when a section of media (owned by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy) aired a news stating that Ramakrishna Educational Institutions Chairman Ramakrishna Reddy’s support is for YSR Congress Party in Nandyal by-election. This come as a huge shock to people of Nandyal given that Ramakrishna Reddy is a relative to Bhuma family and has been a backbone to Bhuma family.
Ramakrishna Reddy immediately called on media and condemned it. This is not all. He even organised a public a meeting in an auditorium and grossly condemned the act of YSRCP and its media.
It all began with YS Jagan’s roadshow near Ramakrishna Educational Institutions where Jagan along with Shilpa Mohan Reddy entered the campus and sought Ramakrishna Reddy’s vote for YSRCP although knowing that he is a staunch supporter of Bhuma family. Ramakrishna too replied, ‘Manchidi’, to Jagan. That’s when YSRCP partyworkers, leaders tried to place YSRCP’s kanduva around Ramakrishna Reddy and he gently turned down.
In the meantime, Jagan’s media started airing news that Ramakrishna Reddy is supporting YSRCP in the by-poll. This has created huge ripples in a short span of time. However, it all turned out to be hoax after Ramakrishna himself gave clarification and condemned YCP’s propaganda.
KCR’s Padyams on Naidu
Telangana Chief Minister KCR has yet again proved his oratory skills as he recited famous poems from Vemana Satakam and Bhaskara Satakam while describing the qualities of Venkaiah Naidu who went onto become India’s Vice President.
KCR has cited the poems such “Anagananaga Raga Mathi Sayilluchunundu” and “Chaduvadi Entha Kalgina…Rasagnatha Inchuka Chalakunna” to mention Venkaiah’s skills and his nature. KCR was all praise for Venkaiah and his speeches and stated that how he honed his speaking skills with great distinct and close observation.
KCR has recalled his first meeting with Venkaiah Naidu in 80s where Naidu had then just released from jail for protesting against Emergency imposed by then Indira government. Throughout his speech, KCR said how ‘humble’ and down-to-earth Venkaiah Naidu has been and said it is proud moment for the Telugu-speaking people to see their person in one of the top posts in country.
Responding to KCR’s padyams, Venkaiah said in his style, “KCR had promised me to arrange finest lunch. But after listening to his poems and the sweetness in his language, it gave me a feeling of tasting the best food with varied dishes.”
With his timely speech and reciting chaste Telugu poems, KCR has yet again proved his public speaking skill.
Suspense! Nayan’s Presence At Chiru’s Event
Megastar Chiranjeevi is celebrating his birthday and the movie’s motion poster will be launched through a grand event today. There are strong rumours that Nayanthara has been locked to play the female lead in the movie.
The makers however wanted to make things official through the event and did not respond about the cast and crew. Nayanthara recently joined the sets of Balakrishna’s movie and she is busy shooting for the film in Ramoji Film City.
The latest news doing rounds is that the actress will make it to the event if she has been finalized to play the female lead in the film. The unit of Balakrishna’s film too will not be bothered if the actress makes her presence for the event.
This event will take place at 11.30 AM and Rajamouli will unveil the motion poster. The entire cast and crew will be out during the event. We have to wait and see if Nayanthara has been finalized to romance Megastar in his next film.
Surprise! Politician Chiranjeevi Woke Up
Megastar Chiranjeevi, who has been staying away from active politics, looks to have suddenly woken up ahead of his birthday, and realized that he still is a politician. He was earlier criticized for forgetting the people of Tirupati, who made him an MLA by electing him in 2009 Assembly election, after merging his party with the Congress and becoming a Central Minister. Now, after all these years, coinciding his birthday on August 22, Chiru suddenly and equally surprisingly showed his concern for Tirupati.
The other day, Chiru, who is a sitting Rajya Sabha MP of Congress party, shot a letter to the Andhra Pradesh government, and raised the issue of displacement of Sanitary workers living at a colony in Tirupati. He demanded the AP government to return the land taken from the poor families at Scavenger colony in Tirupati.
The local municipal authorities recently shifted the families from the colony and handed over the land to a private firm. Taking serious note of the issue, the film actor turned politician demanded Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to come to the rescue of the workers who have been dwelling in the colony for the last 50 years.
It may be noted that Chiru didn’t speak a word on Nandyal by-poll even though the Congress party was contesting the election. For that matter, he has rarely indulged in a political activity ever since his comeback to films. So, what could be the reason for this sudden political move ahead of his birthday?

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s little princess Sitara is already a star on social media. Earlier, the videos of this cute girl dancing to her dad’s hit songs from Aagadu and Srimanthudu have gone viral.
Ghattamaneni fans and movie lovers alike loved Sitara’s cute expressions and adorable moves in those videos. It seems that the amateur star kid (at dance) has now decided to become a professional dancer.
Namrata has officially declared that Sitara has joined a noted dance academy in Hyderabad, ‘Natya Veda’. She also posted a couple of pictures of Sitara performing puja to Nataraja statue. Namrata revealed that it was Sitara’s first day at dance academy.

Talk Of The Night: Hero’s Overconfidence, Again!!
Call it a publicity gimmick or just failing to find a balance between confidence and overconfidence, a young hero crossed the limits yet again when it comes to dealing criticism and promoting his movie.
The man in the discussion is none other than Vijay Sai Deverakonda of Pelli Choopulu fame and at “Arjun Reddy” pre-release event last night, he showed many colors of attitude that made even the audiences at the venue quite uncomfortable. Claiming that Arjun Reddy’s trailer that is 3 minutes long and was watched by everyone multiple times and they felt a longing for more scenes in it, Vijay started feeling bad about the criticism he faced for his speech at trailer-launch event.
“Few people from media and social sites complained that I’m over confident and I’m exaggerating. They called that I’m arrogant. I would like to apologize to f*cking nobody. If I don’t have a confidence on my film, who will have it?” asked Vijay Deverakonda. Back then he stated that he will bet all his money on Arjun Reddy and confirmed that it is going to become a sure shot blockbuster. With many cinema folks, including media and netizens finding fault with such statements by calling it as overconfident speech, Vijay now gave an ultimatum that his attitude won’t change.
Adding a piece of advice to students, he stressed, “If anybody in society says to be humble and bend your head down, f*ck that. F*ck humility. Be confident and showcase your attitude. I’m just an actor and you’re real engineers, showcase that”.
Well, when someone is talking at a public diaspora, where there are hundreds of students, isn’t it a good manner to not use words like f*ck? Showcasing attitude and confidence means, one need not be less-humble and show no humility. Even the likes of Abdul Kalam and PV Sindhu will have a stunning confidence that helped them excel in their careers, but will they use such foul language to showcase it? Their achievements will speak, not words.
At the same venue, Vijay also took a jibe at Censor Board for not allowing the word “Ma**r C**d” to be featured in the movie. “That dialogue got popular from the teaser and that’s the choice of words we use when our girlfriend or sister gets commented by someone. Though we requested the Board, they gave us ‘A’ certificate but they didn’t allow us to use it and muted it. They can stop my voice in theatres, but not yours (students), so you have to dub for me for that word” he said. Shouting the line “Em Matladutunnav Ra..” he made students shout “Ma**r C**d”, and one wonders what message he’s really giving through such vulgar acts.
Needless to say, extremely talented actors who enact versatile characters on silver screen never show such arrogance at public events and they are remembered for their humble nature. While the character of Arjun Reddy inside the film needs some anger management classes, it looks like real-life guy who played it is in need of some attitude management lessons, in case if he wants to make it big in Film Industry.
