Megastar Chiranjeevi, who has been staying away from active politics, looks to have suddenly woken up ahead of his birthday, and realized that he still is a politician. He was earlier criticized for forgetting the people of Tirupati, who made him an MLA by electing him in 2009 Assembly election, after merging his party with the Congress and becoming a Central Minister. Now, after all these years, coinciding his birthday on August 22, Chiru suddenly and equally surprisingly showed his concern for Tirupati.
The other day, Chiru, who is a sitting Rajya Sabha MP of Congress party, shot a letter to the Andhra Pradesh government, and raised the issue of displacement of Sanitary workers living at a colony in Tirupati. He demanded the AP government to return the land taken from the poor families at Scavenger colony in Tirupati.
The local municipal authorities recently shifted the families from the colony and handed over the land to a private firm. Taking serious note of the issue, the film actor turned politician demanded Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to come to the rescue of the workers who have been dwelling in the colony for the last 50 years.
It may be noted that Chiru didn’t speak a word on Nandyal by-poll even though the Congress party was contesting the election. For that matter, he has rarely indulged in a political activity ever since his comeback to films. So, what could be the reason for this sudden political move ahead of his birthday?

After disastrous ‘Akhil’ in VV Vinayak direction, Akkineni Akhil took long break to sign in for Vikram Kumar’s directional and here is it’s first look poster finally, titled ‘Hello’. Vikram Kumar is known for his interesting film making in his earlier movies Manam, 24 and Ishq.
Now, Nagarjuna and Akhil seem to be confident on this movie and the new poster features Akhil doing a handstand on a roof terrace. Let’s wait for the teaser to see if the director wishes to reveal anything about Hello!
Young actor Nara Rohit owes a massive hit to Tollywood. His recent movies made no impact at the ticket window and the actor has been preparing for his next film Kathalo Rajakumari which has been waiting for a comfortable release date. And August 25th is the date for the release of the film.
Like we said earlier, Tollywood is gearing up to repeat another August 11th on 25th, where three films Nene Raju Nene Mantri, Jaya Janaki Nayaka and LIE clashed with each other, with LIE being the most hyped movie. After the release, though LIE is not a bad movie, it lost to the gamble and mass audiences started rolling the red carpet for other two films.
Cut to 25th August scenario, along with Kathalo Rajakumari, there are films like Arjun Reddy, VIP 2 and Vivekam in the race. While Arjun Reddy has huge hype among all these movies, VIP 2 is the most awaited one in mass centers owing to Raghuvaran B.Tech’s success. Estimating the outcome and the need for avoiding an unwanted clash, now Kathalo Rajakumari walked out of the race.
Another reason is that Nara Rohith is right now not in India to promote the film as he’s currently in Norway shooting for his next movie Balakrishnudu, where he will be flaunting his six-pack abs for the first time. For that reason as well, makers decided to opt for a postponement. The makers revealed that Kathalo Rajakumari will hit screens during September and an official release date will be announced soon. That’s a wise decision perhaps!!
Coming to Kathalo Rajakumari, while Nara Rohit is the hero, Naga Shourya played a crucial role in the films and Namitha Pramod essayed the female lead.
Call it a publicity gimmick or just failing to find a balance between confidence and overconfidence, a young hero crossed the limits yet again when it comes to dealing criticism and promoting his movie.
The man in the discussion is none other than Vijay Sai Deverakonda of Pelli Choopulu fame and at “Arjun Reddy” pre-release event last night, he showed many colors of attitude that made even the audiences at the venue quite uncomfortable. Claiming that Arjun Reddy’s trailer that is 3 minutes long and was watched by everyone multiple times and they felt a longing for more scenes in it, Vijay started feeling bad about the criticism he faced for his speech at trailer-launch event.
“Few people from media and social sites complained that I’m over confident and I’m exaggerating. They called that I’m arrogant. I would like to apologize to f*cking nobody. If I don’t have a confidence on my film, who will have it?” asked Vijay Deverakonda. Back then he stated that he will bet all his money on Arjun Reddy and confirmed that it is going to become a sure shot blockbuster. With many cinema folks, including media and netizens finding fault with such statements by calling it as overconfident speech, Vijay now gave an ultimatum that his attitude won’t change.
Adding a piece of advice to students, he stressed, “If anybody in society says to be humble and bend your head down, f*ck that. F*ck humility. Be confident and showcase your attitude. I’m just an actor and you’re real engineers, showcase that“.
Well, when someone is talking at a public diaspora, where there are hundreds of students, isn’t it a good manner to not use words like f*ck? Showcasing attitude and confidence means, one need not be less-humble and show no humility. Even the likes of Abdul Kalam and PV Sindhu will have a stunning confidence that helped them excel in their careers, but will they use such foul language to showcase it? Their achievements will speak, not words.
At the same venue, Vijay also took a jibe at Censor Board for not allowing the word “Ma**r C**d” to be featured in the movie. “That dialogue got popular from the teaser and that’s the choice of words we use when our girlfriend or sister gets commented by someone. Though we requested the Board, they gave us ‘A’ certificate but they didn’t allow us to use it and muted it. They can stop my voice in theatres, but not yours (students), so you have to dub for me for that word” he said. Shouting the line “Em Matladutunnav Ra..” he made students shout “Ma**r C**d”, and one wonders what message he’s really giving through such vulgar acts.
Needless to say, extremely talented actors who enact versatile characters on silver screen never show such arrogance at public events and they are remembered for their humble nature. While the character of Arjun Reddy inside the film needs some anger management classes, it looks like real-life guy who played it is in need of some attitude management lessons, in case if he wants to make it big in Film Industry.
Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set for his birthday tomorrow (August 22nd) and a massive event has been planned in which the title of his 151st movie will be unveiled. Based on the life of freedom fighter Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy, the filmmakers wanted to lock ‘Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy’ as the title, they felt that the title will not appeal to the audience from other languages.
While many other names like “Reddenna”, “Na Desam” and “aaaa” are heard for this film, finally the makers are said to have finalized a title that will have a universal appeal. Reports are saying that “Sye Raa” is the title of Megastar’s prestigious 151st film that will be directed by Surender Reddy. On Chiranjeevi’s birthday, this title will be announced officially and likely to have its motion poster also revealed.
Reports have that Chiranjeevi has zeroed on three titles till now for this movie and the designers have worked on the three titles for him to pick the best in the end. Today afternoon we hear that Ram Charan and Surender Reddy got a clarity from Chiranjeevi that it is going to be ‘Sye Raa’ for this movie.
Ace director SS Rajamouli will unfold the motion poster of the film tomorrow at 11.30 which will witness a list of all the top Tollywood celebrities attending. The complete list of the cast, the crew that has been finalized will also get announced during the event.
Megastar Chiranjeevi will be away from the event and Ramcharan is personally monitoring the happenings of the motion poster launch. Surendar Reddy will direct Sye Raa and Konidela Production Company will produce this big budget mass entertainer.
Curly beauty Taapsee Pannu, who has been boasting of doing performance oriented films in Bollywood, looks to have gone all glam for the sequel of Judwaa (1997), a Hindi remake of Nagarjuna’s iconic film, ‘Hello Brother’.
The trailer of Judwaa 2 was unveiled today, and it looks quite ordinary. Despite the ever-energetic and charming Varun Dhawan impressed in twin roles, the lame jokes and over the top fights give a very ordinary impression.
The most striking aspect of the trailer is the lip-locks and bikinis sported by film’s two leading ladies – Sri Lankan bombshell Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee. While the former has done such steamy and bold acts on screen several times, it is the first time for Taapsee. The trailer itself showcased more than one kiss, one can’t imagine how many such kisses are there between Varun and Taapsee in the entire film. She is also seen slipping in skimpy bikinis and gyrating on beaches.
Since the film is a complete commercial entertainer, heroines going all out in glamour department is understandable, but it came as a surprise to see Taapsee in such bold avatar.
At a time when Taapsee-starrer Anando Brahma is going strong at box office, this trailer featuring Taapsee’s sexy version has come as a pleasant surprise.

Ahead of the scheduled by-poll in Nandyal on August 23, ruling TDP is confident of prevailing over Opposition YSRC party as it has the support of 4 of the 5 big families in the region.
For the last 50 years or so, only five families – Bhuma, S P Y Reddy, Gangula Pratap Reddy, Md Farooq and Silpa families have been holding all the cards in Kurnool district politics. For the upcoming Nandyal by-poll, except the Silpa family, all the remaining four influential families are supporting TDP.
Silpa Mohan Reddy, who lost the 2014 Assembly elections contesting in Nandyal constituency on TDP ticket, has joined YSRC party just ahead of the by-poll and is contesting against TDP this time.
The ruling TDP however is confident of pulling off a victory since its candidate belongs to Bhuma family, and also because they have the support of the remaining three big families.
