As India celebrates its 71st Independence Day hoisting the Indian flag and singing the national anthem across the country, a video of Foreigners, a group of Youtubers precisely, sing our national anthem has gone viral. “Unity and diversity is what India is all about and so is this video,” says the description on the video, which is sure to give goosebumps to Indian on this special day.

In a bid to curb an online game called ‘Blue Whale Challenge’, Indian government has requested popular social media sites like Facebook, Whatsapp, Instagram & search Engine giant Google to remove all the links pertaining to that game.

Having observed that the ‘Blue Whale Challenge’ is one dangerous suicide game that is majorly aimed at teenagers and school-going children. It’s prompting them to commit suicide in the final level of game I.e at level-50!

On 11th of August, the Union ministry for Electronics and IT wrote a letter to all of the leading platforms saying – ‘Instances of children committing suicide while Blue Whale Challenge have been reported in India…You are hereby requested to ensure that any such link of this deadly game in its own name or similar game is immediately removed from your platform.’

According to reports, the deaths relating to Blue Whale Challenge were reported in Mumbai and West Midnapore district and government want it to be reported to law enforcement agencies if observed at any other place.

Janasena Chief and Powerstar Pawan Kalyan wished the country a happy Independence Day today and he hoisted the national flag at Janasena party office, Hyderabad. Here are the highlights of his speech:

“We have to value our country as responsible citizens of India. We have to remember about the pain and struggle faced by our freedom fighters. We have to go through the history and life stories of many historic leaders which reveals about the importance of the country. We are united as a country but not culturally”.

“We have a Muslim President in India which doesn’t happen for a Hindu in Pakistan. We have lot of freedom and everyone should step forward respecting each other and their cultures. I request all the politicians to respect people as one nation without considering the caste and religion”.

That way Pawan gave an awe-inspiring and thought provoking speech.

On the occasion of 71st Independence Day, Jana Sena Party President Pawan Kalyan received an invitation from the Governor of the two Telugu States, ESL Narasimhan to attend a special tea party that he hosts in Raj Bhavan for the Chief Ministers and other prominent leaders of the two Telugu states. Jana Sena party released a press note in this regard.

The Governor hosts this small get-together named ‘At Home’ every year but this is the first time Pawan has been sent the invitation. This shows the steadily growing prominence of Pawan Kalyan in state politics. The actor turned politician will reportedly attend the event to be held this evening in Raj Bhavan. He is expected to be the cynosure of all eyes in the party that will be attended by the Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana CM KCR.

This morning, Pawan hoisted the Tricolour at Jana Sena office in Hyderabad. Yesterday, he took to Twitter and greeted people of the nation on the occasion of Independence Day, terming it as the only festival that brings together people of this great nation.

Fight for the post of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee President has been intensified in the party. With the existing TPCC President N Uttam Kumar Reddy failed to perform upto the mark, many senior leaders are making beeline to get key post ahead of 2019 elections.

Party senior leaders Ponnala Laxmaiah, K Jana Reddy, Komatireddy Venkatreddy, J Geeta Reddy, Mohd Ali Shabbir etc already met AICC President Sonia Gandhi and lobbied strongly for the TPCC Chief post.

Sources said that some of them informed Sonia their readiness to run the party without any financial assistance from Congress high command and some them also told AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi they are ready to give Rs 100 crore as party fund in lieu of giving the post.

As the party is struggling hard to survive in Telangana, the party high command is inclined to handover TPCC cudgels to a able leader who is financially strong also. A decision to this effect will be taken by the end of December this year.
