Now Every Kid Will Know About Amaravati
While Andhra Pradesh state Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is looking to start operations of state capital Amaravati from this Dussehra, he’s also keen to make it a textbook lesson. The key need is to make it part of education is to showcase what the CM is aiming at – “a world-class capital with all the global facilities”.
Schools are apparently the root to have a strong foundation for his ideology.
With a view to spread out the importance of the new capital city, Babu wanted to be a lesson for younger generation students. While speaking to CRDA officials through a tele-conference, Andhra CM has exuded confidence in starting the state assembly, Raj Bhavan, High Court and secretariat in the new capital by end of 2019.
That’s not all, Babu is confident of getting more investments from Japan and China companies to build a world-class capital with happiness and joy among people.
‘It is once in 100 years opportunity to build a new capital city and I’m happy to lead it,‘ said the first CM of bifurcated Andhra state.
Fidaa: Tharun’s Mother Becomes Talk of Town
‘Pelli Choopulu’ director Tharun Bhascker’s mother Geeta Bhaskar made her silver screen debut with Fidaa. During the promotions of the film, director Sekhar Kammula had said that Tharun will be called the son of Geeta Bhaskar after the release of Fidaa.
She may not have won as much recognition as Kammula had anticipated (Sai Pallavi’s performance and screen presence made everyone else in the film look inferior), but she surely has earned accolades for her performance.
Geetha played the role of Sai Pallavi’s aunt in Fidaa. Despite Fidaa was her first feature film, she had an inexplicable ease at acting. She is now poised for bagging many more opportunities in Tollywood.

Drugs Case: ‘Why KTR’s BIL Not Served Notices?’
Telangana TDP Working President Revanth Reddy has alleged that the TRS government is diverting people’s attention from Miyapur land scam by bloating the relatively much smaller drug scandal in Tollywood.
Calling ‘Miyapur Land Scam’ as one of the biggest scams in the country, Revanth Reddy came heavily on TRS govt. for silently suppressing the issue by bringing the drug scandal to the fore.
‘Even if we take drugs case, only small celebrities who don’t have much background are being made victims whereas many big names from the ruling party have silently been omitted. Notices were not served to some big actors who are close to IT Minister KTR,’ he said.
Revanth also questioned why notices were not served to pubs that belong to KTR’s brother-in-law. He added that he had on many occasions raised complaints on the pubs belonging to kin of TRS leaders, which run in odd hours but no action was taken by the officials.
The TDP leader said that Akun Sabharwal, director of excise and enforcement department, is a sincere officer and alleged that he is working under pressure by the TRS govt. He demanded probe by the Central investigative agencies in Miyapur land scam and the Tollywood drug scandal.

Drugs Case: Kajal’s Manager Ronny Arrested
As part of the ongoing probe in drugs scandal, the SIT officials have just a while ago arrested top actress Kajal Aggarwal’s manager Ronny. Large amount of narcotics has reportedly been seized from his residence. Police suspect that he has been doing drugs for a long time.
Ronny has earlier worked as the manager of Raashi Khanna and Lavanya Tripathi. He is currently being questioned by the authorities. Will his revelation lead the police to Kajal and other actresses?
TV Actors, Singers Names In The Second List?
Going by the reports of progress in the probe related to the drug scandal that has rocked Tollywood, the Small Screen (Television) industry may become the next victim of Enforcement sleuths.
SIT officials have reportedly found concrete leads from the arrested drug suppliers Jeeshan, Calvin, Williams and others about the involvement of several noted Telugu TV actors in the drugs case. Sleuths have not made any official announcement in this regard but they are said to be silently assembling all the leads and evidences. The names of TV actors can be expected in the second list of suspects that is expected to be announced after the completion of interrogation of the 12 Tollywood personalities in the first round.
Not just TV actors, Singers have also been found to have abused drugs. The people who have been probed so far, have reportedly leaked the names of some bigwigs, and the second list will reportedly comprise personalities from Tollywood, Television industry and singers. This list may be much larger than the first one.
Seeing the progress of SIT in drugs case, folks from film and TV industry are reportedly quite tensed about whose name may come out in the coming days.

12 Hr Long Non-Stop Meeting!
Perhaps first time in the history of Telangana and also in the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, Telangana Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao has created a record of sorts.
The minister conducted 12 hour long non stop meeting with the officials of Irrigation officials and reviewed progress in the construction of ongoing irrigation projects as well as pending land acquisition.
It may be mentioned here that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao also held several marathon meetings with the officials. In the day long meetings, KCR took some crucial decisions. Harish held meeting from Saturday morning till midnight. All the senior officials also took part in the meeting and shared their views with minister.
The status of Palamuru Rangareddy lift irrigation project, Mallannasagar reservoir and progress in Kaleswaram project works were also discussed.
