The very down to earth Superstar Rajinikanth, who rarely makes his presence felt on social media, is trending now, thanks to a selfie video taken by him.

It seems Rajini has first time tried self-recording a video with his phone as he was seen in the video innocently asking his driver if the ‘red button was on’. Superstar’s fans who lap up anything related to him, are trending this selfie video on social media.

Last week, Rajini left for the US to undergo a routine medical check-up. He is expected to return to Chennai later this month. Post his return, he will join the unit of ‘Kaala’.

On the other hand, there is tremendous buzz in Tamil Nadu surrounding his political entry. The actor himself has given a few hints on his imminent political plunge, and he is expected to float his own party on the eve of his coming birthday, December 12.

It’s already a couple of days over but Tollywood’s young brigade couldn’t forget the hungama happened at SIIMA Awards that took place in Abu Dhabi. Among such discussions, the name of one young hero, who is really youngest, has become a hot topic.

Senior hero Srikanth’s son Roshan is the guy they are talking about. Though he made an unsuccessful debut with Nirmala Convent, it’s the humble and respectful nature of this guy that is grabbing the attention. At SIIMA event, it’s heard he touched feet of many senior stars and other biggies, a gesture that young brigade is almost forgetting. Every single word he spoke on the stage is filled with clarity, simplicity and ground reality, they say.

At the same time, Roshan is also little playful and sportive too. When the show’s host Sirish has put up a satire on the young lad for speaking in English despite being a Telugu guy, it’s heard that Roshan’s reply is epic. He asked Sirish, “Anna, where were you born?”, to which the Allu hero replied, “Chennai”. Pat came the reply from Roshan, “Being a Telugu guy, how could you born in Chennai?”. No doubt, the crowds went into huge laughs in no time.

Some senior celebrities attending the event are heard saying, “This young lad will go places in the coming days. He has heroic looks coupled with humble nature, a rare phenomenon these days”.

The pre-release business of Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas’ untitled film is shattering the trade records. Taking many by surprise, the film is  said to be clocking over Rs 150 Crore even before its release. This is second highest for a Telugu film only after Baahubali 2 and third highest South Indian film (First being Baahubali 2 and Second being Kabali).

If buzz is to be believed, the Telugu theatrical rights (all India) is estimated to fetch Rs 115 Crore. This is a staggering amount. The Satellite rights / digital rights of Telugu, music rights, Overseas theatrical rights and Satellite rights of Hindi film together expected to get an additional 40 Crore plus.

The Attarintiki Daredi combination of Trivikram, Pawan Kalyan, Devi Sri Prasad is said to be what working in favour of the film. Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emmanuel are romancing Pawan in this family entertainer. Pawan will be seen as a software engineer.

Even as last two films of Pawan (Sardaar Gabbar Singh & Katamarayudu) failed to meet the expectations, it has no effect on Pawan’s forthcoming film PK25. Once again, Pawan Kalyan is proving to be an undisputed King in trade circuits.

Though dusky siren Regina Cassandra is looking a bit more chubby in her saree look at the audio launch of “Nakshatram” movie, what is stunning is her look inside the movie. Needless to say, this Tamil hottie tried to give a strong message to her peers out there with her glamour.

Inside the film, especially in a couple of songs, Regina made sure that her glamour will speak bigger than any thing. All these days she’s stereotyped to particular types of performance oriented role but she wants to break the chains it looks. In her introduction song in Nakshatram, she sizzled in shorts and her waist shakings bagged all the attention. In another erotic song with Sandeep, she once showcased her Greek goddess kind of avatar.

Needless to say, Regina is raising the temperatures at a time rainy season is slowly taking over. No doubt she will bring Summer season into theatres when the film releases with her hotness. At the same time, we need to talk about Pragya Jaiswal too. Inside the film, she plays romantic interest of Saidharm Tej and also had a song with Sundeep too. What’s shocking is, she appeared in a two piece bikini as well.

Both these hotties are romancing with flops from a while, but this glamour show from Nakshatram should give them some relief.

Tomorrow we’re going to see next film of Nani in theatres. It’s “Ninnu Kori” time, which features Nani, Aadi and Nivedha Thomas in the leads. Here comes an interesting remark made by the acting-producer of the film Kona Venkat.

Sharing his thoughts with a media house, Kona stated that he got shocked when a heroine who is very close to his family has rejected this film. Though she’s a star heroine and close friend of Kona and co, it’s heard that she refused to do the film. Well, what’s the reason?

Though Kona himself doesn’t know what is the reason for rejection, he stated that many Bollywood heroines to whom he shared the script have showered compliments on heroine role. He added that it is Nani who has brought Nivedha Thomas on board for the role. It’s being heard that the star heroine who rejected the role has three reasons to move away from this project.

Firstly she might have worried that Kona will not pay her huge remuneration like outside producers. Secondly, it’s the feeling that Nani would eat away all the screen time and great scenes in his films. And the last one is that she would not have liked both Kona and Nani and hence rejected the movie.

Allu Arjun’s DJ is one film which indulged in as many controversies after its release as it had before release. The film’s ‘collections’ especially came under scanner with some websites publishing the collections taking the “figures being circulated on social media as reference”.

Irked by the website/websites propaganda, director Harish Shankar has now thrown an open challenge. By sharing DJ’s collections of Nzam region on Twitter, he challenged the websites, which had earlier published much lesser collections, to either prove him wrong or shut down the websites. The ‘Gabbar Singh’ director challenged that he would stop making films if his version of collections was proved wrong.

This is the first time a filmmaker responded in such serious manner on fake collections published by some websites. These kinds of situations won’t arise if the production houses announce genuine numbers or/and media houses verify with producers or reliable trade sources before publishing collections.

As per the numbers shared by him, DJ has collected a mammoth Rs 20 crore share in the Nizam area in just 13 days. DJ is the first Rs 20 crore film for Bunny and second for Harish after ‘Gabbar Singh’.
