I’m a bad Producer, says Young Hero

Actor Ranbir Kapoor, who has co-produced “Jagga Jasoos”, says he is a bad producer and finds acting more challenging.
“I am a bad producer. I can’t get things done, can’t do man management. I was lucky that a lot of the work was taken care of by Anurag Basu. I can be happy that I can just collect awards for the film,” Ranbir said at a press meet here on Thursday.
“As a producer, I was handling the egos of people. Whenever there were fights between Disney and Anurag, I was just handling them. Acting is a more challenging part,” he added.Basu, who has also directed the film, spoke about why he chose to make the film.
He said: “I used to love all adventure stories. One has to discover the child inside us and know what one likes watching. It was challenging to make a musical out of an adventure story. But there is always fun in challenges.”The film is slated to release on July 14.
Jagan Finds Nothing To Gain In Garagaparru!

Wherever YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy goes in Andhra Pradesh, he ensures that he gets some political mileage because the issues give him an opportunity to take a dig at the Chandrababu Naidu government.
But when he visited Garagaparru village in West Godavari district, where there was alleged outcast of Dalits by the local Raju community, Jagan could not find anything that would benefit him politically.
He realised that the issue was just blown out of proportion and that it was just an ego clash between two groups, both supporting the Telugu Desam Party.
So, all that Jagan did in the village was to play the role of preacher, He advised both the warring groups – Dalits and non-Dalits to sink their differences and maintain harmony. He met both the groups separately and asked them to stay united.
He said acts of omission or commission of one of two persons should not be attributed to the whole village. He counselled them that it was important to stay united and stay together.
While non-Dalits sections said that they wanted peaceful co-existence with everyone and that they had no objection to the installation of Ambedkar statue in the village, the Dalits said that they had no clash with the other castes for over 50 years.
Jagan demanded that the Dalits should be given compensation as per the SC ST Atrocities Act and wanted both the groups to forget, forgive and forge ahead.
Here Comes The ‘Tatkaal’ Scheme for H1-B Applicants

Now that the new rules of travel ban has gone into effect in America, the US citizen Immigration Services (USCIS) has some good news for Indian IT firms, who were taken back, a little, by the slow processing of H1-B petitions of their employees.
After announcing that premium processing of H1-B would be suspended, the USCIS is again planning to take it up and re-initiate it as workloads permit. The agency in an official statement said, ‘We will resume the fast-processing procedure soon. Further information about it will be disclosed over the time.’
‘This move will help to process the long pending petitions, which we have currently been unable to process due to the high volume of incoming petitions and the significant surge in premium processing requests over the past few years; and prioritize adjudication of H1-B extension of status cases that are nearing the 240-day mark,’ added USCIS in the statement.
Similar to Tatkaal scheme in India, the H1-B procedure will be dealt quickly (in just 15 calendar days), if an applicant furnishes USD1225 for the same. Certainly, it’s a huge benefit for Technology companies that are expecting smoothening of rules for work visas.
However, the Donald Trump-led America administration has previously clarified that H1-B visas will be allotted only to high-salaried and high skilled employees.
If DJ Is Fake, Who Got Original Collection??

Currently, an interesting discussion is going on in film circles about Allu Arjun’s latest release “DJ Duvvada Jagannadham” movie. As the makers have directly released posters all over with a caption, “100 Crores Gross In 7 Days”, there is an accusation that all these collections are fake. Social media is right now buzzing with Allu Arjun blasting for giving fake numbers.
Cut to facts, not just the producers, but both the distributors and popular trade-trackers who are considered to be very honest have shared similar numbers about DJ collections. If producers stated that DJ collected 50.60 crores ‘share’ from two Telugu states after a one-week run, trade trackers have stated that the number is 50.50 crores. Except that 10 lakhs difference, what is the major thing faked by Allu Arjun and Party here is not known.
In case if we have to find out what is a fake collection, what’s the mechanism available to find out such stuff? Only buyers, exhibitors, distributors and producers will know the true numbers but not any. And whatever they announce is going to be the final collection of a movie. This happens to be a business, so the final figures revealed by anyone can’t be cross-checked by outsiders. As a popular English daily other day published reports that the collections are fake, Allu Arjun fans are breathing fire at it.
“If DJ Duvvada Jagannadham collections are fake, then which movie’s collections are original and true?” they are asking. “It’s the same trade trackers who published collections of Baahubali, Khaidi No 150, Srimanthudu and Janatha Garage have announced collections of DJ too. Then how come they call it fake? This is media’s personal vendetta on Allu Arjun” some fans shared.
If the numbers are really inflated, then it is not good for the film industry. And if the vendetta is really happening, then it is not good for media. Integrity matters!!

Here Comes The ‘Rubber Singh’

Enraged by the wild rumors of her joining Jana Sena party and/or in her bid to break the monotony of criticizing TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu, YSRCP firebrand leader and Nagari MLA has this time come harsh on Pawan Kalyan.
Speaking at YSRCP East Godavari district plenary, Roja fired a salvo of questions to Pawan Kalyan, who claimed to have floated ‘Jana Sena’ party only with the ambition of solving people’s problems.
‘Where is the leader who reiterates time and again that he floated his party to question the government? Why is he silent while Chandrababu Naidu’s govt. has been cheating Kapu community for three years by backtracking on poll promise of Reservation? If he is really concerned about people, he should come out in open and start questioning the injustice being meted to people’ Roja questioned.
‘When he projects himself as the brand ambassador of handlooms, why hasn’t he opposed the GST on handlooms? He himself has to decide if he is “Rubber Singh” or Gabbar Singh,’ Roja further taunted the Jana Sena chief.
The comments of Roja against Pawan have created a flutter on social media and in political circles.
Hyd Metro Is In Silence Mode!

Recently, Bengaluru and Kochi kickstarted their metro rail service bringing in joy to the citizens. This leaves Hyderabad pondering on the actual date of launching the operations.
Two stretches on corridor three and one have passed through all clearances, however other two are believed to be ready for commencement by the end of 2017.
At Nagole and Mettuguda or Miyapur and SR Nagar the metro works are in full swing with work going on day and night to meet the deadlines. However, work in other areas needs to step up.
After announcing various dates, KT Rama Rao, Minister of municipal administration, has chosen to remain silent over the launch dates. This deepens the suspense further.
The deadline was July 15, however it seems that it will not ride the citizens any sooner as another 66 km route will easily take a year more. The immediate goal is to finish off the works till Brgumpet and rail crossings.
While metros in other cities are government funded projects, Hyderabad metro is based on public private partnership.
Rajini & Pawan May Work Together!

Superstar Rajinikanth and Pawan Kalyan may join hands very soon. This is not for any film but to fight for the self respect of South Indians.
Renowned Telangana poet Gaddar is planning to launch a cultural, social and political movement across South India under the aegis of the South Indian Cultural Association (SICA). This ambitious movement is being planned in as many as 200 Parliamentary constituencies across South India with the chief objective of fighting for the self respect of South Indians.
In his bid to gather the support of more like-minded people, Gaddar has sent feelers to both Janasena President Pawan Kalyan and Rajinikanth, who is reportedly all set to float his own political party in Tamil Nadu. SICA representatives have already met Rajini and Pawan, explained them the objectives of this movement and requested them to extend their support.
Neither of these two iconic actors has yet responded. If they come on board, the movement that aims to highlight the disparity being met to South Indians will surely create a major political crisis in the country. It may force the Union leaders to change the system that is allegedly partial to North Indians.
Another Hero to Turn Villain for #NBK102

The career of senior actor Jagapathi Babu can be divided into two halves – ‘before Legend’ and ‘after Legend’. The Balayya starrer changed the fate of Jaggu Bhai and made him one of the busiest character artiste from being a market-less hero. Buzz is that Balayya is now turning another senior hero into villain..
After wrapping up ‘Paisa Vasool’, Balayya will immediately start shooting for his 102nd film. Senior Tamil filmmaker KS Ravikumar will direct this movie starring Nayanthara as female lead. Latest buzz is that senior hero Srikanth is on board to essay a dreaded villain in this action entertainer. His look is speculated to be menacing and it possibly is a career making role for him.
It has been ages since Srikanth scored a commercial hit as hero. He has already started taking up supporting roles, for ex: the very forgettable role as Allu Arjun’s uncle in ‘Sarrainodu’. Main villain in a Balayya’s film will surely bring him back into limelight and with the kind of acting potential he has, he may get busy just like Jagapathi Babu after the release of #NBK102.
