Rajamouli’s Farm House in 100 Acres!

Ace director SS Rajamouli who has created the stunning Mahishmati kingdom for ‘Baahubali’, is reportedly busy designing another such marvel. This time, it is for personal use.
Buzz in film circles is that Rajamouli has acquired 100 acres of land in Donabanda, far away from the Hyderabad city atmosphere, and is setting up his private farmhouse there. Noted art director Ravinder, who has worked for most of Rajamouli’s films excluding Baahubali, has been entrusted with the responsibility of creating a complete village atmosphere inside those 100 acres compound. Rajamouli is expected to move into the farmhouse along with his family as soon as the construction work is finished.
It is reported that Rajamouli’s brother MM Keeravani and trusted aide Sai Korrapati also own lands nearby. So, Donabanda, a small village in Telangana, will soon turn into a kingdom of Rajamouli and his family.
On work front, the ace director is yet to take a call regarding his next project.

According to the claims of the Andhra Pradesh govt. the ‘People First’ scheme that was launched in the state to fight corruption, has been doing wonders.
The scheme facilitates people to get back the bribe they had paid for availing of any government service in AP. One just have to dial 1100 and file a grievance. There is a high possibility of the corrupt government servant who took the bribe, may come knocking on your door to return the bribe amount.
In the wake of a recent nation-wide survey that ranked AP the second most corrupt state, the Chandrababu Naidu regime launched the ‘People First’ grievance redressal scheme on May 25 in its effort to eradicate corruption. Now, the CM himself claimed that the scheme was being utilized very well by people and that he had received positive feedback from officials.
However, a senior bureaucrat reportedly said that the govt. can’t assure the bribes taken will be returned in every case. He also added that the govt. can’t act upon the officials just based on some random complaint and thorough inquiries will have to be performed, which is a cumbersome process. He however said that the initiative can intimidate the govt. servants from taking bribes.

Acclaimed filmmaker Krish has directed the likes of Akshay Kumar, Balakrishna, Allu Arjun, Shruti Haasan etc. Despite they are all huge stars, Krish managed to bring out the desired result from them, thanks to his command on all crafts. However, can this sensible director deal with Kangana Ranaut, who is infamous for interfering in directors’s work?
It is known that Krish will next direct Kangana in the biopic of Rani Jhansi Lakshmi Bai. Titled ‘Manikarnika’, the historical project is expected to go on floors in July.
Kangana, allegedly called in Bollywood circles as ‘Queen of Controversies and Tantrums’ has been in news lately for snatching the story credit of her upcoming film ‘Simran’ and was also accused by veteran filmmaker Ketan Mehta of stealing his script on Lakshmi Bai. With direction on her mind next, this top actress is also notoriously famous for fingering in directors’ work.
When Krish was in his latest interview asked about how he plans to deal with Kangana’s intrude in his work, he made it clear that he had signed the project only after getting a confirmation from the producer that Kangana will limit herself to only acting. That’s quite a foresight by Krish to put check to Kangana. But then, allegedly known for breaking rules and agreements, Kangana is a tough nut to crack.
When National Leaders Warned Jagan

YCP Chief Jaganmohan Reddy was severely criticized by leaders who attended the meeting held in Guntur on Sunday with the ‘AP Special Status’ agenda. Jagan was primarily targeted for deceiving people in the garb of fighting for special status and trying to get in the good books of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in reality.
JDU President Sharad Yadav alleged that Modi will use Jagan only until the Presidential election and throw him away after his need is met. He advised the YCP leader to cut all sorts of ties with Modi if he really is keen to achieve special status for AP.
Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav suggested that Presidential election is the right time for both Jagan and Chandrababu Naidu to press Modi for special status to AP.
CPI National Secretary Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy came heavily on Jagan and questioned his integrity over achieving special status. He rebuked Jagan for supporting Modi whose regime, according to him, is resorting to atrocities on backward communities.
It is known that Jagan has a couple of days ago met Modi in New Delhi and extended YCP’s support for Presidential election.
Big relief for Infosys employees

Indian IT giant Infosys has made an official comment about the growing rumor about ongoing layoffs. Trashing the separation reports in company, the Chief Operating Officer UB Pravin Rao termed it as ‘overstated’ and further said, ‘technology driven transformation presents new jobs for companies like Infosys.’
After meeting the IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad in Delhi, Pravin Rao and Infosys co-chairman Ravi Venkatesan spoke with TV reporters and said, ‘we’ve only performed a regular performance-based layoff where in just 300-400 number of employees were taken out.’
Commenting to media queries, IT minister said, ‘Companies like TCS and Infosys can continue to hire in large numbers but there won’t be huge layoffs as being rumored.’ In the recent past, several news popped out spread fears among people working in IT industry and definitely, this announcement would give a sigh of relief.
Ever since such reports emerged, the company co-founder NR Narayana Murphy asked top executives and managers to take pay cuts in order to over the low-phase situation in markets. Earlier last month, Infosys formed its own development center in United States and announced that it’ll provide 4000 new jobs for Americans.
Babu & Jagan are scared Of PM: Rahul Gandhi

Rahul Gandhi, the Vice President of Congress party, central leaders of various parties including SP (Akhilesh Yadav) and JDU (Sharad Yadav), DMK and CPI (M), on Sunday, took severe potshots at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and NDA government for not being able to provide Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh.
Blaming on the inefficiency of CM Chandrababu and opposition leader, Rahul said, ‘Both Naidu and Jagan are scared of Mr.Modi and that’s why they are unable to fight for special category status. The PM’s SCS promise made to Andhra, made in Tirupati meeting during the 2014 election campaign, was totally ignored by his government for last three years. If Jagan Reddy and Babu won’t fight for special status, we all (parties) work together to achieve status for Andhra.’
JDU leader Sharad Yadav launched an attack on Modi for ignoring the people of this nation and shaking hands of leaders of Russia, France and Spain.
Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav thanked for the love showered on him from Andhra people and he funnily said, ‘it’s time I should leave UP now’ and wished a progressive growth for state. ‘The symbol of ruling party in AP is cycle but only Rahul and me can ride it well. I demand this state government to fight for Special Status and get BJP to allocate funds from crores and crores of money collected through demonetization.’
Reminding that Congress recognized the Polavaram as a national project, Rahul Gandhi took a brief swipe at Modi over his fake promises, and his campaigns like Swachch Bharat, unemployment in nation and various other aspects. He went onto promise that Congress will provide Special category status to AP, as soon as we form government in 2019. Rahul concluded his speech by thanking leaders from all parties who joined him on stage.
Champions Trophy: India Crushes Pak

Defending Champion India began the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 campaign with an emphatic 124-run win over arch-rival Pakistan in their first game of the tournament. On a day that completely belonged to India, both bowlers and batsmen shone to crush the rival team.
After winning the toss, Pakistan invited India to bat. Although the openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan had a slow start, they put on an assured 136-run stand before the latter was dismissed for 68. Skipper Kohli then joined Rohit and the dashing duo steadied the game in India’s favor. The Indian innings was interrupted twice by rain before Rohit got run out for 91.
Then came the experienced Yuvraj Singh, who smashed 53 runs off just 32 balls to help India post a formidable total. Kohli’s aggression at the end and Hardik Pandya’s entertaining cameo, including his three sixes of the last over, took India to 319/3 in 48 overs.
Chasing a revised target of 289 in 41 overs, Pakistan batsmen had been troubled throughout the innings by the Indian bowlers. In the end, Pakistan conceded a 124-run defeat after getting all out for 164 runs in 33.4 overs. Yuvraj Singh was adjudged Man of the Match for his brilliant knock.
India will next play against Sri Lanka on June 8.
