No Petrol & Diesel On Sundays
Petrol pumps will be closed down every Sunday in eight states including Telagnana and Andhra Pradesh from May 14 in the country. As part of the call given by Prime minister Narendra Modi to conserve fuel, petrol pump management association decided to stop selling diesel and petrol during Sundays.
During the recent Mann Ki Baat, Modi requested people to conserve oil and save environment from the increasing air pollution in the country.
The Association leader Suresh Kumar said that the consortium of Indian petroleum dealers decided to shut their shops every Sunday in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra and Haryana for 24 hours.
The decision will also be communicated to the oil supplying companies soon, he said nearly 20,000 outlets will be closed on the holiday. The new norm to close the pumps on Sundays will be implemented in other states in a phased manner.
Prabhas & Rajamouli Together to Make Bollywood Debut?
SS Rajamouli and Prabhas, the director and lead actor of ‘Baahubali’, India’s biggest motion picture, may make their Bollywood debut together.
As per national media reports, Karan Johar, the North India distributor of Baahubali, is pursuing Rajamouli to make a straight Hindi action film with Prabhas in lead role. He expressed his willingness to produce this film. If both Rajamouli and Prabhas agree, the duo can make their Bollywood debut with same film.
After the success of Baahubali, Prabhas has become a national star and many Bollywood filmmakers have reportedly come forward to launch him. The Telugu star hero however preferred to complete his pending Telugu projects. Although he is planning to release his subsequent films in Hindi, they won’t be straight Hindi films.
If Rajamouli however agrees to Johar’s demand then Prabhas will have no reason to restrain from doing this film. For now, the complete concentration of Rajamouli is on Baahubali 2 only. He is likely to take a long vacation after the film’s release. He will take a call on his next project only after returns.
Mega Fans, You're Spoiling The Show!
Currently, Ram Charan is shooting for his upcoming film in Sukumar’s direction at various location in Godavari districts.
Today he moved to Kolleru region for shooting for the next couple of days. But when he tried to move from Rajahmundry, a huge wave of fans actually stormed the actor and it took some time for him to leave. And tomorrow, a similar situation might repeat at Kolleru too.
Actually, the show is being spoiled by mega fans only. Though rather there is no wrong in coming and meeting Charan, but mobbing is wrong. This is happening due to excessive sharing of information.
Other some people in the fans groups started circulating messages that Charan is moving to Kolleru for next three days and no one should unnecessarily visit the sets and disturb him.
With that information passed today, fans mobbed him when he’s exiting Rajahmundry hotel as they know that Charan is going to another location for 3 days. In case if the mega biggies don’t want fans to mob, then it’s better to keep silent rather sharing messages about shooting’s whereabouts and asking everyone to keep silent.
Definitely mega fan heads should either stop sharing information or they should stop crying foul about the mobbing.
Story Behind Baahubali 2 Censor
Generally we come across number of media reports as soon as films undergo censor process. However, not a slight piece of information from censor office came out after ‘Baahubali 2’ was censored. One must give complete credit to Rajamouli for taking utmost care in this regard.
Rajamouli knows how much curious people are about Baahubali 2 and how easily rumors can spoil their hard work of five years. Especially the conundrum of ‘Why Kattappa killed Baahubali’ has kept audiences on tenterhooks and people who resort to leaks will be ready to grab snippets or info from sources in censor board.
So, right from the projection guy to the Censor board members, only the trusted persons were deployed to complete the crucial censor formality. Rajamouli effectively made sure that not even a diminutive detail about the film comes out of censor office.
There is no official confirmation from Rajamouli and Baahubali makers until now regarding the completion of censor. They must be applauded for the precautions they had taken.
'TDP-BJP-Jana Sena, The Combo Will Repeat'
Amid growing political unrest between ruling and opposition parties over people issues, Andhra Pradesh Roads and Buildings Minister Ayannapatrudu has made sensational statement. He said that ruling TDP, BJP and Jana Sena will fight 2019 elections unitedly in the state.
The minister told the reporters that he will also stand by his statement in written. The TDP and BJP were already political partners and Jan Sena is extending issue based support to TDP government.
Jana Sena headed by film hero Pawan Kalyan has been fighting against BJP led union government on the pending special status to Andhra Pradesh.
Ayannapatrudu said the unexpected political political developments will take place before 2019 elections in view of multi polar contest in the state.
Trump Forgets to Respect National Anthem, Trolled
US President Donald Trump’s First Egg Roll ceremony hosted on Monday had its share of awkward moments like smaller crowd, fewer celebs in attendance etc. But, the most embarrassing scene was created by the President himself.
Given that it was Trump’s first time hosting the Easter Egg Roll, all eyes were on the White House. Trump, infamous for making fun of himself with his bizarre acts, forgot to put his hand on his heart during the National Anthem. Realizing the faux pas of her husband, First Lady Melania Trump, who was standing right by his side, had to subtly remind him with a nudge.
Trump was later trolled heavily on social media for his embarrassing gaffe. One netizan commented that the US President had to be reminded his patriotic responsibility by an immigrant. It may be noted that Melania was born in Slovenia.
'Mega' Disasters for Producer
Technicians and actors can resurrect their careers even after delivering a handful of flops but this is not the case with producers. 2-3 flops in a row can permanently deter a producer from making films. Nallamalupu Bujji has received such a career-ending shock from Mega heroes.
Bujji, who has been actively producing films after scoring a blockbuster with Allu Arjun’s ‘Race Gurram’, has tasted five flops in a row after that. Immediately after ‘Race Gurram’, he co-produced Alludu Seenu and NTR’s Rabhasa with Bellamkonda Suresh. While the former was a cost failure, the latter was a disaster. He however was not affected much as Bellamkonda was allegedly the major stakeholder.
Later, he produced Mega family hero Varun Tej’s debut film ‘Mukunda’. Although the film was a flop, he could sustain as the film was made on reasonable budget. But, his next two films ‘Winner’ and ‘Mister’, both starring mega heroes – Sai Dharam Tej and Varun Tej respectively, became so big disasters.
Each of these two films was made with Rs 20+ crore budget and he reportedly lost more than half of his investment. He co-produced Mukunda, Winner and Mister with Tagore Madhu. The latter has a stake in Mahesh Babu’s ‘Spyder’ so he is optimistic about recovering his losses with that film.
The situation of Bujji however is much worse. With five unsuccessful films in a row, with the last two – Winner and Mister proved to be the biggest mistakes of his career, he is said to be in a dilemma over what to do next. His next project, Ravi Teja’s ‘Touch Chesi Chudu’ is currently on sets. He hopes this film recovers some of his losses.
Hyderabad Turns Into 'Fire Ball'
Hyderabad is reeling under heat wave condition with the temperatures souring 43 degree Celsius, which is highest this summer, in the last two days. The ongoing heat conditions will continue for another three or four days.
The Meteorological department officials said that the highest temperature recorded was 43 degree Celsius which is just 0.3 degree low of all time high recorded on April 30 in 1973. The 43 degree temperature happens to be five degree above normal of 38.3 degree Celsius.
Officials said the reason for sudden increase of heat wave is the non formation of cumulonimbus clouds over the state and the city. The heat wave conditions are also likely to prevail at isolated places in North Telangana districts in next two days.
