Australians first': Temporary Foreign Workers Visa Abolished

US President Donald Trump who has tightened the screws on H-1B visa programme with the slogan of ‘Americans First’ looks to have inspired the Australian govt. to implement similar chauvinistic measures.
Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull on Tuesday said that his government will abolish its popular 457 visa that brings temporary foreign workers to the country. A new visa program will be formulated in its place with the aim of recruiting only the best and the brightest from around the world. He said that the decision has been taken to tackle the growing unemployment in the country.
The 457 visa is used by over 95,000 temporary foreign workers, mostly Indians. It facilitates foreign workers to get jobs in Australia and the visa holders can bring their family members to Australia on 457 secondary visa.
Mr Turnbull made it clear that his govt. intends to put ‘Australians First’ ahead of foreign workers for potential local jobs. He added that the 457 visa programme was allegedly being misused by local employers to import unskilled workers for cheap salaries.
“It’s not that the Australian government will discourage foreign workers completely, but the focus will be on giving priority to Australians and put check to employers who hire unskilled foreign workforce cheaply. This country still welcomes skilled workers from around the world,’ he added.
Those who are currently working in Australia on 457 visa will not be affected by these reforms.
Vijay Mallya arrested in London

Finally, it is an end game for the big man!
The liquor baron and former CEO of Kingfisher airlines Vijay Mallya, one of India’s most-wanted who is on the run for almost most than a year, has been arrested in Westminster, London by Scotland Yard police. Mallya, who’s hiding himself in London, was reportedly taken into custody at 9:30 AM London time.
This arrest of 61-year old businessman, who owes 9000 Crore to Indian banks, will bring him closer to extradition to India. Central sources and CBI officials also confirmed the move that Mallya was arrested in UK. The arrest was a result of relentless requests from Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Enforcement Directorate (ED) to arrest the absconding man, who would be brought to Westminster’s magistrate court.
Technically, this development is a major victory for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union government. Union Home Miinster Arun Jaitley, during his tour to London in February, raised the matter with British Pirme Minister Theresa May.
To recover the loans defaulted by Mallya, banks went on to auction his lavish bungalows and costly villas, but their efforts went in vein as the bidding received poor response from buyers.
According to senior advocate Ram Jethmalani, the 9000 Crore loan-defaulter can now approach high court with his team of lawyers in London to escape deportation to India.
Pawan Bringing Out Folk Song

Repeating the sentiment of the successful folk song titled ‘Katamarayuda’ in Attarintiki Daredi, another such foot-tapping folk number is reportedly being incorporated in Pawan-Trivikram’s new film.
Pawan has always been fascinated with folklore and it was his idea to use the Katamarayuda song in Attarintiki Daredi. As that song was one of the attention grabbing aspects of AD, Trivikram wanted to have another such song in their new film.
Upon his instructions, music director Anirudh Ravichander has composed a catchy tune and the song is currently being picturized in Hyderabad. It is likely that Pawan renders this song. The unit expects the song would create bigger mass hysteria than Katamarayuda did.
Coming to the film’s title, several names are doing rounds but the most apt and catchy one among the lot is ‘Gokula Krishnudu’. The title looks classy and it can connect instantly with both class and mass audiences.
The shoot is going on at brisk pace with the aim of bringing the film into theatres in August.

As the Mahishmati Kingdom is getting ready for the big show, here comes an inside talk.
Already the big fact is that Prabhas’ has played dual roles in Baahubali, both father and son, though they are not seen together. An inside buzz says that Prabhas has also played the role of a grandfather in the movie and that character will be seen in this sequel. They are saying that Mahendra Baahubali will meet his grandpa who was long thought to be dead.
But as Rajamouli has shown that Baahubali’s father, King Vikramadeva, brother of Bijjaladeva, has demised long back, how come this character will come live now? Some however made an interesting point that people who have seen certain scenes of Baahubali 2 have come to a wrong conclusion.
In fact, Sivudu is speaking to his dad Amarendra Baahubali who has put up an worn out look like Devasena in those scenes. They are father and son, but some have mistaken them as father and grandpa. In that case, is Sr Baahubali still alive? Didn’t kattappa killed him?
Remember Vijayendra Prasad’s words, “Kattappa didn’t kill Baahubali, he just stabbed him”. All rumours will be concluded on April 28th anyway.

The ‘Kick’ beauty has over 40 million followers on all of her social media pages put together. So, having her as an investor and promoter is a lucrative deal for Rakyan Beverages too.

Joy And Pain For Rajamouli On Last Day

Ace director Rajamouli who spent more than five years planning, conceiving, shooting and promoting his magnum opus ‘Baahubali’, has finally completed the painstaking yet highly rewarding journey.
On Tuesday, Rajamouli took to twitter to announce that today is his last working day for Baahubali. He added that he was both happy and sad at the same time. “Last working day……hope fully..What a journey..what an experience..I am both smiling with joy and wincing with pain,” tweeted Rajamouli.
The censor formalities of the Telugu version of Baahubali 2 were reportedly finished on Monday. The epic part 2 was given U/A certificate with a runtime of 2 hours and 47 minutes. The makers however didn’t officially announce the news of completing censor process as the Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam versions are yet to be censored.
So, Rajamouli may have to work a little bit more if the censor board objects to something in the film to give the desired certificate.
Allu Aravind Upset On Mister!

Mega Producer and Mega strategist Allu Aravind is reportedly upset over the result of Mister. More than the film’s creative aspect, Aravind is said to be miffed over the film’s production cost. Since creative elements and how audience would receive and a film’s result is usually not in anyone’s hands, Aravind is said to be upset over the film’s over budget. Since the film is a cost-failure first, Aravind said to have taken an elaborate class to its producers recently.
Aravind said to had chided producers and cautioned them to correct themselves quickly and suggested to take a safe route. Even producers who started it with as an ambitious project, slowly started realising that it’s becoming over budget as well as not shaping up as per the original script that Vaitla had narrated first.
Unnecessary padding, too many side characters said to had added more to the production cost of the film. Had they were avoided, the film would had been cut down its losses at least. Especially, the overseas is turning out to be a dud.
Well, the damage has been done already. So, rather than sitting on it, it’s better to move on and learn from the mistakes so that they won’t be repeated again. The mistake of Mister is a classic one which every other producer in the industry needs to learn from it.

‘Making another film like Baahubali is not an easy task and I believe that no one but Rajamouli has the experience and vision to make a bigger film than Baahubali,’ he added.
When asked if he would use the unprecedented popularity that he earned with Baahubali to gain entry in politics, Prabhas replied that he will be a complete misfit in present day politics and that he has no aspirations of becoming a politician.
Mahesh And Bunny Made Her 1 Cr Girl

Sometimes, heroines go as per their demand, and that leads to severe disappointment as well. Same thing is happening with this hot girl whose tempting curves have made their mark on the whole of India’s youths sometime ago as she graced an awards function in a sexy avatar.
We are talking about seductress Disha Patani, who made her Telugu debut with the film Loafer. Guess what, this heroine was unable to zero on her next Telugu projects mainly due to Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun. As her portfolio is getting managed by a director’s model management company, we hear that Bunny’s Na Peru Surya team approached her. But before that, even Koratala Siva also approached her for Mahesh’s Bharat Anu Nenu project.
As she got approached by two big stars, she has quoted nearly 1 crore price and that is excluding of her five-star stay and other costs. That led Mahesh’s team into thinking and they finally got settled with Kiara Advani likely. Even Allu Arjun is said to be exploring other options as they have kept the cut-off mark at 50 lakhs as heroine’s pay packet.
But with news going everywhere that Disha wants 1 crore, other biggies who are likely to approach her are now said to be taking a back step. Poor girl!!
