Incomes Tax department is continuing its raids on celebrity residences in Tamil Nadu. In a fresh, the IT officials conducted searches in the houses of veteran Telugu heroine Radhika who acted in a many films with Mega Star Chiranjeevi during early 90s. Radhika was one of the favorite heroine in Telugu film industry 20 years ago.

The officials also raided Radhika’s office Radaan in Chennai and receoved from documents. The raids are followed by the searches at Radhika’ s husband and film hero Sharat Kumar houses two days ago.

The IT raids had created sensation as the income tax department unearthed the cash for vote scam in the by election to RK Nagar Assembly constituency. Reports said that nearly 100 crore money was distributed to voters by the main political parties. However, the elections were cancelled.

Officials said that Radhika was questioned and took some statements with regard to the assets owned by her and also the money stashed in her bank accounts in the state

The team recently held two grand audio launches – one in Hyderabad and the other in Chennai. The entire cast and crew were present for both events. Each of them were praising one another for all the effort put into the project. The movie has already raked in Rs 500 crore as part of its distribution and theatrical rights and merchandise. To gets fans on Baahubali mode, the makers re-released the first part on April 7 in Hindi across 1000 screens. The much-awaited Part 2 will release in 6500 screens worldwide. The movie stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia.

Naga Chaitanya and Rakul Preet Singh starrer RaRandoyi Veduka Chuddam in the direction of Kalyan Krishna Kurasala has completed shooting and the movie team has been waiting to announce the right date of release for the movie. According to the sources, since Allu Arjun’s Duvvuda Jagannadam has been effectively postponed to June or July, Annapurna Studios team has decided to release the movie on 19th May.

The date was first blocked by Dil Raju for his 25th production. Since he could not give full attention to the movie production following his personal loss, the producer and team decided to postpone the film to a later date. Also, the script is being re-worked as well as the climax did not satisfy the actor and production team.

Akkineni Nagarjuna, last year announced that he wants to overlook the production works of his two sons next films and he started Naga Chaitanya’s next film in Soggade Chinni Nayana fame, Kalyan Krishna direction. The music of the film is given by Devi Sri Prasad. The audio release will be done in one or two weeks time and the promotions will kick start soon as per the reliable sources.

Coming to the present, film makers have finalized ‘Kanche’ fame Pragya Jaiswal as the heroine.  It is known that Pragya has recently romanced Vishnu’s younger brother Manoj in ‘Gunturodu’ film.  As heroine’s role is traditional.. and there is scope for performance,  filmmakers said to have choosen Pragya. She will join the regular shoot from the first week of May as per the update.  Major portion of the shoot will be held in Hyderabad.

‘Achari America Yatra’ is directed by G. Nageswar Reedy,  who is known as specialist in handling comedy films.  This film is going to be the third association of Vishnu-G. Nageswar Reddy.  They have earlier worked for films like ‘Denikaina Ready’.. ‘Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam’.
