Director Puri Jagan once again demonstrated to the world that his ‘pen’ celebrates bashing girls, women and female gender in particular. All the dialogues from “Rogue” are examples of how much hate this director harbours against women. But most of the dialogues are in poor taste for sure.

Even in most of his latest films like Devudu Chesina Manushulu and Loafer, Puri Jagan has annihilated girls big time. In Loafer, he went on saying that women like Savitri are hard to find these days as they have got extinct along with dinosaurs. What wonders many is, why Puri is still searching for dinosaurs.

On one side, Puri Jagan has a wonderful wife in Lavanya, and his daughter Pavitra also toes around her father all the time. Also, the director’s model management agency, Puri Connects, is headed by another woman, outdated heroine Charmi. With so many women around, why Puri searches for dinosaurs and why he hates girls in a big way is the most simple question one would ask this filmmaker.

While Puri blasts women big time inside the movie, he’s the one to make sure that glamour of his heroines will be shelled out max such that the films would fetch huge theatrical rights. Isn’t this a hypocrisy?

Ever since the first look poster of senior actress Sridevi’s upcoming film ‘Mom’ was unveiled some time ago, people have been eagerly waiting for the movie.

Now, the makers have unveiled the film’s teaser and it looks noting short of an exhilarating thriller. After stunning everyone with her heart touching performance in ‘English Vinglish’, Sridevi looks to be back with yet another intense performance in ‘Mom’.

The 1 minute teaser will leave one spellbound with the intriguing looks of Sridevi as well as Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The last shot featuring Sridevi’s voice over raises curiosity over the film. AR Rahman’s haunting music is another asset. The gritty teaser is well cut and it promises an emotion filled thrilling ride in store.

Mom is slated for worldwide release on July 14, 2017.

Writer Vakkantham Vamsi, who has penned the story of Jr NTR’s Temper that was directed by Puri Jagannadh, turned the film’s story into an English Novel. This is the first-time a Telugu feature film is being made into novel. Usually, it’s other way around as novels would be turn into films.

Billed to be a story of a corrupt cop who changes his path after learning about a heinous crime committed by villains gang. While the film is already being remade in Tamil, Kannada and Hindi, Vamsi decided to write it in English to take the story to a wider audience.

Vamsi has spent six to eight months to write the novel and what’s interesting is that the novel has a different ending unlike the feature film. The book will have a climax that Vamsi had originally conceived and he doesn’t want to reveal the suspense. Instead, he wants the readers to read his novel. The new climax according to Vamsi is more hard-hitting, honest. And the book will see more layers to protagonist Daya’s character.

There are many companies that thrive in giving awards to film fraternity. All in all, the funda is all about conducting a grand ceremony and selling various slots to brands. Later they sell the video rights to TV channels and finally emerge out with profits.

Actually, a Bollywood based Awards Company has enrolled south last year by hosting a huge function where the who is who of Tollywood have made their presence felt. As per reports, UV Creations has finally locked on the title “Saaho” which happens to be derived from a song from the film Baahubali. As the word saaho got a universal appeal, thanks to Baahubali’s super success, the makers felt that this title would help Prabhas do huge business all over India with this film.

As Baahubali got backed by precision master Rajamouli, the sales took a huge upward curve. But with a newcomer like Sujith directing his second film in career, can Saaho get similar attention throughout India? Let’s wait and watch.

Still, after getting married a year ago, both heroine Nayantara and her director boyfriend Vignesh Sivan are said to be maintaining a secret about it. However when they visited Jayalalitha’s dead body together, many got a clue about what is certainly happening.

Reports are coming from Tamil media folks that both Nayan and her BF had a huge fight other day. This is regarding publicly approving their marital status. Actually, Nayantara expected huge from “Dora” movie but it flopped big time, leaving the actress in a shocker. At the same time, director Vignesh Shivan wants to open to the world about their marriage such that they could live a peaceful life from now on, without getting intimidating questions from media and all.
