Suriya's movie Important Update on shooting
Actor Suriya is presently busy shooting for ‘Thaanaa Serndha Koottam’ directed by Vignesh Sivan. The film stars Keerthy Suresh as the female lead and the shooting is heading towards the finish line.
We learn that for the past few days, the shooting of the film has been taking place in a star hotel located in Koyambedu, Chennai. Apparently the team is shooting some scenes related to a CBI inquiry. It is said that these sequences are set in the 1980s.
Apart from the lead pair. ‘TSK’ stars veteran comedian Senthil, Ramya Krishnan, RJ Balaji, Sathyan and many others. Anirudh is rendering the music score. The film is expected to hit the screens in May 2017.

“Nobody can represents the brand’s theory, vision or the sensibility much more than Alia does. She is the perfect brand ambassador so to say as she has all the elements we are talking about young, energetic and lively face,” Joshipura told media before her show. Even the actress looked excited post her ramp walk.
“The show had a very dramatic feel and it was nice walking on the ramp. I like the whole vibe of the show. Today I feel very grungy hence I am carrying this look and I loved it,” Alia told reporters.

A new beginning for Dhanush in Malayalam
The multi-talented star Dhanush has been producing films under his Wunderbar Films banner since 2011. The banner has acquired a goodwill among film buffs as it has churned out award winning flicks like ‘Kaaka Muttai’ and ‘Visaranai’ and also the blockbusters like ‘Velai Illa Pattadhari’, ‘Ethirneechal’ and ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’.
The latest is that Dhanush will be making inroads in Malayalam cine industry as a producer. The film will be directed by Dominic Arun. Tovino Thomas and newcomer Neha Iyer will be playing lead roles in this film whose shoot will commence today (March 18, 2017) according to news reports.
The film will be a Black comedy genre and a first of its kind for Dhanush’s production banner.

Superstar Rajinikanth has completed shooting for the mega budget sci-fi entertainer ‘2.0’ directed by Shankar. A few months back, he has also started dubbing for the Vaseegaran and the Robot Chitti two characters he will be playing in this mammoth film on Robotics.
As we all know, Thalaivar will team up again with his blockbuster ‘Kabali’ director Pa.Ranjith after ‘2.0’. Actor and Rajinikanth’s son-in-law Dhanush will be funding this project under his Wunderbar Films banner.
While this project was announced in July 2016, the makers were waiting for the Superstar to be free from his commitments for ‘2.0’. Now that the shooting has been completed it is time to start the much expected Rajini-Ranjith project.
We learn from a reliable source that the shooting of the much anticipated film will start on April 14, 2017 on the auspicious Tamil New Year Day. It is also the birth anniversary of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar. the man who drafted the Indian Constitution and the leader respected the most by director Ranjith.

Deepika Padukone to star with Rajinikanth again?
Actress Deepika Padukone, who forayed into Hollywood with XXX: The Return of Xander Cage, made her Tamil debut in 2014 with Kochadaiyaan, India’s first photo-realistic motion capture film, directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth.
Now, according to recent reports, Deepika Padukone might team up with Rajinikanth yet again! The latter is doing his second film with director Pa Ranjith, which is bankrolled by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films. We hear that Deepika has been approached to play the female lead in the film, which is set in Mumbai. Earlier, it was said that Vidya Balan was the chosen one. However, an official announcement is still awaited.
Shooting of this yet-to-be-titled film is expected to go on floors on April 14, after Rajinikanth wraps up shooting for 2.0. The pre-production work of this untitled film is currently in progress at a brisk pace in Chennai.

‘Baahubali’ Mania is going to affect two Summer Biggies (‘Katamarayudu’ & ‘Duvvada Jagannatham’). How is it going to happen?
Katamarayudu: Theatrical Trailer of Pawan Kalyan-starrer is expected during pre-release event happening in Hyderabad Tomorrow. Watching the promo of a regular commercial film after being awestruck with stunning visuals of ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ Trailer isn’t going to work anyway. While ‘Baahubali 2’ have many elements to grab the attention instantly, Pawan Kalyan might be the only big aspect in the trailer of ‘Katamarayudu’. Some people even began commenting that Makers should call off their plans to release the trailer & go for a direct theatrical release.
Duvvada Jagannatham: The original plan was to release the Allu Arjun-starrer 3 Weeks (May 19th) after ‘Baahubali 2’. However, The trailer of Rajamouli directorial gives a feeling people mayn’t come out of Baahubali hangover for at least one month. So, Chances of delaying ‘DJ’ release by one or two weeks can’t be ruled out.
NTR27 Title confirmed
‘Jai Lav Kusha’ is being finalized as the title of #NTR27. This particular Title has been clearly mentioned on the Clapboard used in the shooting spot.
Tarak is reprising a Triple Role for the first time in his career. Jai, Lav and Kusha are the screen names of three characters essayed by Jr in Bobby’s flick.
Apparently, ‘Lava Kusa’ is one of the classics of Sr NTR. So, NTR & Kalyan Ram okayed it immediately when Bobby shared the idea and believes there can’t be a better title than it.
For ‘Jai Lav Kusha’, NTR became more fit by shedding 12 kgs of weight in two months. He appears much better than how he looked in his past three movies. Niveda Thomas & Raashi Khanna play female leads. Rakul might play a guest role.
Pawan Raises North-South Divide Again!
After a brief lull, power star and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan took to his twitter again to attack the Narendra Modi government at the Centre for pampering north at the cost of the south.
Pawan reacted strongly to media reports that the Modi government has decided to waive the entire crop loans of farmers in Uttar Pradesh, which has voted the BJP to power with a thumping majority in the recent assembly elections.
The Centre has not made any such commitment to other states which have also been demanding the assistance to farmers towards crop loan waiver.
He reminded that highest number of suicides of farmers took place in our Telugu states – Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Telugu farmers and the two state governments had made several representations to the Centre to waive their crop loans, but their appeal went unheeded by the Centre.
“BJP-led central government cannot be partial towards the states in the north and this kind of partiality will create divisiveness within the nation. BJP government should be aware of this fact,” he said.
Pawan asserted that the BJP government should treat all the states alike.
“Don’t keep on ignoring the southern states and it is not good for the integrity of the nation,” he warned.
Katamarayudu Losing Sheen With Each Song
The strategy to release singles is turning out to be disastrous for Katamarayudu as the buzz around the film is going down with each song. They should have released the album as a whole than following the trend that was set by Khaidi No. 150.
It is okay to release singles when the album has two to three chartbuster songs in it. None of the four songs that were released had that chartbuster appeal.
Barring catchy theme music in Mira Mira Meesam, Anup Rubens has failed big time with the soundtrack.
Anup who usually scores mellifluous melodies failed to impress even in that department. Fans have lost hopes on the remaining songs that they are simply waiting for the theatrical trailer. They wish trailer would be good enough to build hype around the movie.
Katamarayudu is just a week away from hitting the marquee and there is not much buzz around it in spite of being the first biggie to hit the screens this summer.
