The suspense over the title of Mahesh Babu – Murugadoss movie is continuing and the fans of Mahesh Babu are in distress.

They have been putting pressure on the producers to announce the title fast and release the first teaser before March 31st.

The free web surfing on Reliance Jio sim cards comes to an end on March 31st. From April 1st, the customers will be charged for data usage.

Ever since Jio offer came, there has been surge in views of Telugu movie trailers and songs. Films like “Khaidi No 150”, “Gauthamiputra Satakarni”, “Duvvada Jagannadham” and “Katamarayudu” have hugely benefited from this. And now “Baahubali 2” set new record in youtube views in a single day.

Industry observers say the spike in recent youtube views has direct link to the number of sim cards were given in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states.

Although the trailer and songs should be interesting to get more number of views but the free surfing has made everyone to check the trailers at least for once.

This has been worrying Mahesh Babu’s fans. Their argument is that if the first teaser doesn’t come before March 31st, they will be losing record views. So, they are criticising producers.

Ace filmmaker Rajamouli SS has confirmed that the first part of ‘Baahubali’ will be released a week ahead of the release of part 2 so that people can get back into the world of Mahishmathi.

Speaking at the trailer launch event of ‘Baahubali 2’ in Mumbai on Thursday, Rajamouli said, “I believe very few people missed the first part of Baahubali in theatres. We however have decided to re-release it ahead of part 2 release in order to pull audiences back into the narrative. It will be a pan-India release.”

This is absolutely a great news for the fans of Baahubali franchise. As the part one released almost two years ago, most people might vaguely remember the actual plot so the re-release is expected to jog their memory besides providing yet another great opportunity to watch the epic film on big screens just before the second part hit screens on April 28, 2017.

During the Baahubali 2 trailer launch event, when asked about his next project, Rajamouli said that first of all he would go for a 2-3 months vacation to come out of the Baahubali world in which he spent more than 5 years.

‘I have plans to make a simple film in which i don’t have to use any VFX,’ said Rajamouli.

It may be recalled that immediately after hogging national limelight with Magadheera, Rajamouli surprised all by making a comedy film i.e. ‘Maryada Ramanna’. That was seen as a smart ploy to negate the humongous expectations on his immediate project after Magadheera.

‘Baahubali’ is a much bigger project compared to Magadheera and it made Rajamouli one of the most famed directors in India. His every future project would be eagerly awaited by movie lovers across India. Hence, he might have decided to go with a small and safe project instead.

Well, it must be admitted that Rajamoui has reached a stage where audiences will throng to theatres just seeing the famous ‘Rajamouli Stamp’ on a movie poster irrespective of the genre, hero and scale.

The explosive trailer of ‘Baahubali 2’ looks to have given yet another opportunity to the attention-craving Ram Gopal Varma who went rampaging against the Tollywood stars.

Calling Baahubali 2 the ‘Grandmother of Indian Movies’, Varma went on to elevate Prabhas with a volley of tweets. It seemed that Varma’s twitter elevation of Prabhas was way higher than Rajamouli’s elevation of the actor through some intense action sequences in Baahubali.

‘After Baahubali, no Powerfulest MegaSuperstar of Tollywood could match even with the toenail of Prabhas even in two lifetimes,’ tweeted Varma, taking a dig at all the star heroes of Telugu cinema.

Varma said that many in tollywood might commit suicide after learning that Baahubali 2 trailer amassed 50M views in just 24 hours.

More than hurting, Varma’s comments are making fans of all heroes get very angry. Making such degrading remarks against heroes having larger than life image just to hit headlines is very cheap, opine fans. He seems to have not mended his ways even after Naga Babu’s outburst at and comments of mega family heroes on different occasions.

Of course Prabhas has hogged national limelight with Baahubali but that doesn’t mean Varma could ridicule other stars who have scaled much higher peaks than Prabhas before a phenomenon called ‘Baahubali’ happened.

Besides this, there’s a special T-shirt commemorating Pawan Kalyan’s two decades of acting journey. Much to the dislike of married actresses, they are often asked about when they would have a baby?. Actress Vidya Balan, seemingly fed up with this question, has given a startling reply to media when she was asked the same question for the nth time.

Vidya, who is currently busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Begum Jaan’, is actively interacting with media. During a recent interaction, when she was asked about starting a family, Vidya said that no one has a say in it except she and her husband.

“What is this obsession with babies. I am not a baby-making machine,” she retorted. Vidya further said that the world population is already on an alarming rise and it would be absolutely fine if some people don’t have children.

The epic trailer of ‘Baahubali 2’, which was released yesterday, received appreciation from every corner. Irrespective of the film industry, celebs, filmmakers, trade people, media persons and movie lovers praised the cinematic wonder of India. What about the Tollywood stars?

NTR, Ram, Samantha and a few other Telugu celebs poured appreciation on the trailer through their tweets. From the Mega family, Sai Dharam Tej was the only one to have something to say about the trailer. “Whistle worthy moments throughout the trailer,” said Tej.

Expecting Pawan Kalyan to tweet about movies is absurd whereas Megastar is not on any social media. Charan and Bunny stay reasonably active on social media but they somehow didn’t share their experience after watching the trailer, of course if they have watched it in the first place.

After the stress of ‘divorce war’ Sunjay Kapur and Karisma Kapoor went through and public mudslinging on each other, Karisma’s ex husband Sunjay decided to move on and he is finally remarrying. Baahubali 2 has by now shattered almost all the records on YouTube. There are no two words about it. But there is a comic side of the Baahubali: The Conclusion trailer, which is being discussed on the social network.

For the kind of magnum opus Baahubali: The Beginning is, definitely there will be a huge expectation from the second and conclusive part of the movie. However, the trailer has a couple of things that surprised cinema lovers.

Firstly graphics quality of few shots is very amateur for the kind of range Baahubali has. In a shot where Prabhas is seen running over an elephant statue, the graphics quality is very inferior. Same is the case when some high flames are seen. These are the things that are getting mocked by folks on social media.

At the same time, we have few people commenting on Anushka’s dance step in the movie. After showing her as a fierce warrior and of course a beautiful queen-equivalent, making her dance such way is taking out the elegance, says social media.

Commenting on the same comedy side, cinema intellectuals say, Rajamouli would have intentionally did this to downplay the hype, such that there will not be gigantic expectations. Because if there is too much expectation, then there is a chance for mismatch too!!

Time and again, struggling beauties who are trying to get their foothold in the Bollywood industry are trying the same trick. Especially those girls who have done a couple of films down South are busy using it. Still, the trick seems to have no takers.

Earlier we have seen the likes of Kajal Agarwal and Taapsee Pannu who have flaunted their deep-neck cleavage looks on red carpets of various award functions. On the day when the trailer of ‘Baahubali 2’ is breaking records on social media, the film’s producer has shocked one and all by revealing the film’s budget and revenues of first part.

During the trailer launch event in Mumbai, film’s producer Shobu Yarlagadda revealed that they have spent around Rs 450 Cr to make both parts of ‘Baahubali’. This is the highest ever budget for any Indian film, a few cores more or less to the budget of Shankar and Rajnikanth’s epic VFX extravaganza ‘2.0’.

When Baahubali was released two years ago, several rumors about the film’s budget made rounds. It was constructively reported that the film was made on a whopping budget of Rs 150-200 Cr. The second part must have have cost the makers much higher or the total wouldn’t have gone up to Rs 450 Cr.

More shockingly, Shobu said that they didn’t make any money on the first part, which grossed Rs 600 Cr worldwide. Probably, the distributors and exhibitors filled their pockets. He added that they are expecting to be compensated with the revenues of ‘Baahubali 2’.

Well, irrespective of Baahubali first part, the second part itself has reportedly done Rs 500 Cr pre-release business including all. After watching the film’s trailer, trade analysts predict that the first Rs 1000 Cr grosser of Indian cinema is on its way.
