Though he is one of the biggest stars in India, Pawan Kalyan doesn’t mind dropping off the announced projects, or sending press releases just for the sake of it.

In the past, Pawan Kalyan announced that he would be producing a film with Ram Charan. He did this two or three years ago. Still, this combination has not materialised.

Later he sent a press note saying he would be making a movie called “Kobali” in the backdrop of Rayalaseema with Trivikram. That went into backburner.

Two years ago, Pawan Kalyan also made announcement about a movie for Dasari Narayana Rao’s production but it has not gone to the sets yet.

The star is showing more interest in announcing them than doing them. Now, he has announced a movie with his brother Megastar Chiranjeevi in the direction of Trivikram for producers Ashwini Dutt and T Subbarami Reddy.

Social media has been trolling when the announcement of Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan movie came.

“This film might go once Pawan Kalyan – Ram Charan, Pawan Kalyan – Dasari movies get released,” joked a Pawan Kalyan fan on social media.

‘Drunk’ Hansika said to have created ruckus in the film’s shooting recently. Hansika had consumed alcohol and came to the shooting of a Tamil film in inebriated condition recently. Apparently, she has gone overboard and she was uncontrollable. People on the sets had great difficulty in controlling Hansika. And this was revealed by none other than Hansika herself and she went to the shooting of Bogan under alcohol influence.

As one of the scenes require Hansika to act like drunk and create ruckus in the film, what she did was she really drunk and went to the shooting and feared the people on the sets. However, the scene said to have come out naturally and director is happy with Hansika’s commitment.

Veteran director K Raghavendra Rao, whose ‘Om Namo Venkatesaya’ starring Akkineni Nagarjuna is getting ready for release on February 10, is reportedly planning to make another devotional film.

During the audio launch event of ONV, Nag said that KRR had many a times during the film’s shooting told him about his plans of retiring from direction. KRR also expressed the same to media. However, the century-filmmaker looks to have changed his decision now.

Speaking to media on the sidelines of his visit to Yadadri Lakshminarasimha Swamy temple, KRR said that he was planning to make a film on the Lord housed on Yadadri hill. He didn’t just said that as he was in the temple but he seemed serious about making this devotional film before calling off.

It is heard that KRR has already sought the help of eminent writer JK Bharavi to develop the script. If he goes on to make this film, he would be doing befitting justice to Telangana as he has already made quite a few films on the Gods housed in Andhra Pradesh.

Finally, the unexpected has happened. In what can be called as the most crazy combination ever, Mega Star Chiranjeevi and Power Star Pawan Kalyan are going to act in a full-length multistarrer. The movie will be directed by none other than director Trivikram Srinivas who share good rapport with both the stars.

T. Subbarami Reddy and Aswini Dutt are jointly producing this mega film.

The yesteryear producer Subbarami Reddy felt that only director Trivikram could handle this rare combination of Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan and approached him. Announcing this, T Subbarami Reddy said, “After watching Chiranjeevi garu in ‘Khaidi No 150’, I felt that I should return to producing movies as well. Then I felt that Trivikram is the best director to make this movie. Today I met Trivikram for the second time at my residence and finalised the movie. I am happy to announce that I would be producing this mega movie with the association of another great producer C Ashwini Dutt.”

T Subbarami Reddy had produced films with actors like Sobhan Babu, Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi earlier. His films include Jeevana Poratam (1986), State Rowdy (1989), Gangmaster (1994) and Bhagavad Gita (1993).

Earlier, Pawan was seen in a special appearance in Chiranjeevi’s Shankar Dada MBBS. Now the twain is all set to share screen space with full-fledged roles. Needless to say that mega fans will go berserk hearing the news.

The Akkineni senior said that his main intention was to break the monotony, which according to him was bound to come after watching the same host for as many as 3 seasons.

‘People could guess my reaction even before I let it out as they have seen me in 180 episodes continuously. It could kill the enthusiasm of watching the show so on the last day of MEK3 shoot, I announced my decision of quitting or taking a break for 1-2 seasons at least,’ Nag added.

The ‘Om Namo Venkatesaya’ actor said that shooting for MEK was a strenuous process. ‘I had to keep my concentration all the time as I have to respond to their answers. If I lose my concentration for even a second, I couldn’t respond to the guests properly. I enjoyed the interaction with people but it was quite tiring to be alert from morning 9 to evening 6-7, every day,’ said Nag probably revealing the true reason to step aside.

He said on a lighter note that after what he went through for MEK, shooting for films looks extremely easy.

Ever since the silly mistake has been spotted in the latest poster of Baahubali: The Conclusion and it went viral on social media, it had become talking point. Gulte had reported the same after the mistake went viral.

Now, one week after the initial poster was unveiled on Jan 26 on Republic Day eve, the makers of Baahubali have swung into the action and got it corrected silently. The latest rectified poster has been posted on its official social networking page on Thursday.

The initial poster saw Amarendra Bahubali (Prabhas) and Devasena (Anushka) sporting arrows, bow and taking aim. With Devasena standing in the front and Amarendra Bahubali standing next to her, their bows are not ordinary ones but one that can shoot three arrows at one go. However, the glaring mistake in it was the arrows of Amarendra Bahubali (Prabhas) were seen above Devasena’s (Anushka’s) white bow despite the latter standing in the background.

Now this has been corrected and a fresh poster has been upped on its social networking page without mentioning anything.

SS Rajamouli, who is aggressive on Twitter, is tight-lipped on the issue. Even the makers of Baahubali and their official Twitter accounts haven’t mentioned about the mistake as well as the correction as if nothing happened.

However, fans of Prabhas, Anushka are happy that the corrected poster is displayed at least a week after the initial poster released. Though the promotions of this film are yet to start, we find that the PR (Press Relations) team of Bunny and his movie are finding it headache in one particular aspect.

Here in DJ Duvvada Jagannadham’s case, this PR team is assigned with the job of safeguarding Bunny’s look from the film. Till date, none knows how this mega hero looks inside the film. Now and then there are some on-location pictures of Bunny coming up, but they are sans makeup. However other day a fan managed to get true look of Allu Arjun from the film, with straightened hair and coloured beard. As the photo got leaked to a media house, they have published the pictures as well.

While the theatrical rights of Baahubali first-part for two Telugu states are sold for nearly 60+ crores, it made 110+ crores ‘share’ from this territory. When it comes to first part, people doesn’t know what to expect, so they took every news coming from Rajamouli’s stable in a positive way. No doubt, everyone got that childlike excitement. But as the content is opened to world now, fans are expecting something very huge and that’s truly spinning a tough time for Rajamouli and Co.

Anyway, one big pre-release event and one stunning trailer always have the potential to change the talk and achieve the target.
