Ahead of the big rally planned by the Telangana JAC on Wednesday, police have arrested the JAC Chairman Kodandaram from his residence in the wee hours and shifted him to an undisclosed place. The information on his whereabouts is still unknown.
As per the official statement of Kodandaram’s wife Sushila, police broke open the door of their house and detained her husband when he was sleeping. She lodged a complaint with the City Police Commissioner Mahendar Reddy demanding for the disclosure of the details of the whereabouts of her husband. She also tried to meet Governor ESL Narasimhan but the latter was not available at his official residence, Raj Bhavan.
Protesting the arrest of their leader, the students called for bandh of all educational institutions. Telangana Congress leaders Uttam Kumar Reddy and Jeevan Reddy strongly condemned the arrest of Kodandaram.
The rally was planned to be organized with the support of all the unemployed youth of the state against the government for its delay in issuing notification for nearly one lakh govt. jobs.

The news that shook Kollywood a few months back was the separation of actress Amala Paul and director AL Vijay.
On Tuesday, reports confirmed that the two had officially ended their two and a half year marriage after the District Family Court in Chennai, granted them a divorce.
The couple had tied the knot on June 12, 2014, after dating for close to four years. A lot of reasons had been cited for their separation, one of them being Amala being ill-treated by her in-laws apart from not being allowed to pursue acting.
AL Vijay had, however, deemed this news as false and claimed that the reasons for divorce were personal. The two had previously worked together in ‘Deivamagal’ in 2011 and Vijay starrer ‘Thalaiva’ in 2013.
Director Sankalp Reddy’s “Ghazi’ is not only drawing good crowds in AP and Telangana and it is also attracting the Hindi audiences in rest of India. The movie’s Hindi version “The Ghazi Attack” has collected Rs 10 Cr (nett) on Day 5.
Rana is not a crowd puller in Hindi market. Yet, the movie collected Rs 10 Cr in just five days scoring over other straight Hindi releases. If it continues to perform in this way, the Hindi version alone would collect a nett of Rs 20 Cr by end of its total run.
The investment on Hindi version including prints and promotion is Rs 15 Cr. The team is expecting Rs 10 to 15 Cr from satellite rights from Hindi General entertainment channels. Ever since the trailer of upcoming Bollywood film ‘Rangoon’ was released, people had one doubt, whether Kangana Ranaut really went nude for love making scenes or she was shown nude using camera tricks and dupe?
There have been several discussions on Kangana’s nudity in Rangoon. While some believed that being an audacious actress, Kangana might have really acted nude and others said that a dupe must have been used for the particular lovemaking scenes.

I have no qualms in stripping off my clothes if the scene demands,’ added the ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ actress hinting that she would do it again in case of script requirement.

It is know that Nani is currently busy shooting for an untitled film in the US in the direction of debutante Siva Nirvana. DVV Danayya is producing this film. The noted producer has now revealed that he would make a formal announcement of the title of his production venture starring Nani on the actor’s birthday, February 24. Film’s first look will also be unveiled besides the title.
Also starring Nivetha Thomas and Aadi Pinisetty in key roles, this untitled film has screenplay and dialogues penned by Kona Venkat. The current schedule will last till March 10. Most of the shoot will take place in the US only. Makers are reportedly targeting July 2017 release.

Not many are aware that Rakul Preet Singh was the first choice opposite Naga Chaitanya in Autonagar Surya. Rakul was approached for the role way back then and she was said to be happy to do the role. “I have lost many films due to the clash of dates. But in my early stage of career, I was actually replaced in Naga Chaitanya’s Autonagar Surya. I felt bad then,” shared Rakul.
As Rakul herself admitted that she was replaced in the film, speculations are rife that Chaitu could had been behind this as she would be seeing Samantha by then. Sam and Chaitu acted in Ye Maya Chesave. Although Autonagar Surya released after the couple’s Manam, the shoot of the film started before Manam itself.
