Even before mega brother Naga Babu’s outburst against eminent novelist Yandamuri Veerendranath at the pre-release event of Khaidi No.150 and the aftereffects could be forgotten, the senior writer has come up with fresh indirect comments targeting megastar.

The show organizers pocket Rs 1.5 Cr even if only 1 lakh members send messages. In return, they are throwing on an average Rs 5-6 lakh as a bait to dog,’ said Yandamuri.

Popular Tamil playback singer Suchitra Karthik has pushed everyone into confusion with her incoherent tweets about Dhanush and spiritual leader Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev. She even accused Dhanush’s team of manhandling her.
All of this started when Suchithra had tweeted about an alleged sex scandal near Coimbatore. “Somebody would also like me to warn my followers about a huge sex scandal that is about to erupt in an ashram near Coimbatore. Please stay safe,” she tweeted.
She later tweeted about Dhanush’s staff or friends attacking her. “This is Suchi, I’m back. I’m safe and I’m ready to tell everyone what a lousy game #Dhanush played. That’s my arm, from rough handling by #Dhanush’s team,” she wrote besides attaching a photo of bruises on her arm.
She however didn’t reveal the reasons behind the attack. It is also not clear how Dhanush and Sadguru were related. It is being doubted that her twitter account might have been hacked by miscreants.
The noted singer hasn’t made any official statement except these vague tweets. Neither Dhanush nor Sadguru responded to these allegations.

Even though Pawan Kalyan is occasionally raising his voice against the state and Central governments for ‘Special Status’, the actor turned politician is receiving criticism from a section for targeting TDP and BJP leaders and not directly taking the names of Chandrababu Naidu and PM Modi. Known for his unfiltered statements, senior Telugu filmmaker Tammareddy Bharadwaja has now asked the same to the Jana Sena founder.
Tammareddy said that he feels Pawan has come to a compromise on his much hyped ‘Special Status’ fight. ‘Instead of demanding for Special Status, why Pawan is now seeking the Centre to provide a clarity? What clarity he needs as the Centre has already officially announced their reluctance to grant special status to AP?, questioned Tammareddy.
‘Why Pawan Kalyan is only targeting TDP and BJP leaders instead of directly questioning Chandrababu and Modi for going back on their promise of Special Status? His soft statements for the TDP and BJP chiefs are raising doubts in the minds of people who want to support him in the fight for Special Status,’ added Bharadwaja.
It needs to be seen how Pawan Kalyan responds to the allegations of Tammareddy.
On Wednesday morning, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, along with his family, few cabinet members and other MLAs’, have visited Tirumala and offered 5 crore worth of gold ornaments on behalf of Telangana government. Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu, on Wednesday, took part in global technology giant Microsoft’s ‘Decoded conference’ in Mumbai which was also attended by company CEO Satya Nadella. The new age CM, who always had large penchant for digital push, updated technologies and online services, once again echoed his views and vision to make AP a digital equipped state at the earliest and tried to impress Microsoft CEO with this presentation.
Speaking at the event, Mr Naidu said, ‘The overall economy of newly formed state is USD100 billion now and we are aiming to make it USD946 billion by 2029 and at the same time, USD145 billion investments are our target’. Briefing about the utilization of Microsoft application services and Andhra Pradesh is cloud first state, Chandrababu said, ‘over 62,000 police officials in AP are connected via Kaizala application that helps to monitor and work on the day to day complaints and administration’ and he added that ‘we want to create 14.4 million jobs.’
In his speech, CEO Nadella also shared his views and company’s interest to work with state government and aid Andhra Pradesh in all possible digital ways. He launched LinkedIn Lite and Skype Lite and Project Sangam, to platform all corporate jobs at one place for Indians.
In a bilateral meeting with Satya Nadella, the CM has reportedly sought company’s assistance in hybrid cloud computing, realtime governance, digital services and also Skype Lite, a new product that was announced by CEO to help Indians access using Aadhar ID and registered mobile number.

Taking a cue from the earth shattering success of megastar Chiranjeevi’s comeback film ‘Khaidi No.150’, fans and Television industry people expected that the legendary actor’s debut show on TV, MEK4 will also be a huge success. But, it seems that an unprecedented embarrassment is in store for megastar.
As we have reported earlier, the BARC ratings of MEK4 show for the first week have just come and it was shocking to see the megastar hosted game show not finding a place in the Top 5. While Janatha Garage occupied the top spot, next four places were grabbed by TV serials.
When Nagarjuna Akkineni hosted the first season of MEK, the show grabbed huge attention from TV audiences and the same reflected in the form of staggering TRP ratings. As the next two seasons couldn’t attract viewers as much as the first season, MAA TV management allegedly replaced Nag with Chiranjeevi.
Fans as well as Star MAA management hoped that megastar’s charisma would work big time and draw the attention of TV audiences from daily serials towards the 4th season of MEK. Moreover, as it was the first ever show of Chiru on television, they hoped that audiences wouldn’t miss it. However, the ratings are reportedly shockingly low.
If this is the situation in the first week of the fresh season with a new host, organizers wonder how low the ratings might go as the show progresses. The more agonizing factor is the poor performance of MEK4 even after Nagarjuna attended as a celeb guest and the first participant went as far as Rs 1 Cr question in the first week itself.
Show organizers don’t understand whether megastar failed to attract viewers or the TV audiences have lost interest on the show altogether. Irrespective of the reason, the poor ratings for MEK4 will surely be an embarrassment to megastar.
Well, there are ways to promote a film. Either it should be the content of the film that should talk big or the controversies surrounding it. If not these two, then associating Pawan Kalyan or Mahesh Babu or both with the film will do the needful. That’s the mantra for a few.

Then we have Rakul Preet bringing more attention to her project with AR Murugadoss, how she agreed for the film without even listening to story, how she missed out Mahesh’s earlier film and got this one now and so on. Of course, even media folks are putting only Pawan and Mahesh questions before these celebs, and only those answers are getting all the attention.
At any given point, cinema lovers never noticed these two talking big about Winner or mentioning the sensational highlights of this film, other than few routine lines. Only the Pawan-Mahesh talk is dominating their talks, and in a way, it looks like the two Tollywood’s biggest stars are promoting this film because if anyone asks when did Sai Dharam or Rakul utter this, we do say, at ‘Winner Promotions’.
Director Vikramaditya Motwane, who made critically acclaimed films like ‘Udaan’ and ‘Lootera’ is back with his latest directorial ‘Trapped’.
Starring national award winning actor Rajkumar Rao, ‘Trapped’ tells the story of a guy who gets accidentally locked in his apartment. The film’s intriguing trailer was released the other day.
Upon getting trapped in his apartment in a multi-storey building, Rao makes desperate attempts to get the attention of the building’s watchman who is way too many floors beneath him. With no one coming for his help, Rao has to deal with lack of food, water supply etc for days.
The survival tale was reportedly shot in 20 odd days. ‘Trapped’ will hit screens on March 17 this year.

Former Team India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni reminisced his pre-fame days as he traveled in a train after 13 long years.
While going to Kolkata to take part in the Vijay Hazare trophy, Dhoni kept aside his luxury vehicles and instead traveled along with his teammates in in the Hatia-Howrah Express from Ranchi to Howrah on Tuesday night.
During the journey, Dhoni clicked a selfie with his teammates and later posted it on Twitter. He recollected that he used to travel in general compartments when he worked as a Ticket Collector.
After getting selected for the national side and garnering fame, Dhoni had to skip trains citing his VIP status and security reasons. It took 13 years for him to board the train again.
Dhoni who will lead Jharkhand team in the Vijay Hazare tournament.
Telangana JAC Chairman Kodandaram had intensified efforts to float a political organisation against Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s ‘Dictatorial’ rule very soon.
After the release of Kodandaram from police station, the JAC leader held an emergency meeting with his followers and reportedly decided to float the party on Telangana Formation day on June 2.
Leaders said that Kodandaram wanted to launch the party on June 2 aiming to expose KCR’s misdeeds and highlight the importance of creation of Telangana state.
The TRS leaders are also discussing about the launch of the party as the news spread like wildfire in the state on the day JAC planned to hold a big rally but in vain as police foiled the committee’s plan to lay seize the city demanding to fill government posts.

Starting 1st April, the company is going to lift free offer and will begin cater the following plan for the existing customers who take up the Jio Prime membership for Rs 99 for one time: unlimited calls and 1GB data/day for Rs 303 a month.
However, the company reports that for new users who sign up after 31st March will have to pay according to subscription plans ranging from 149 to 4,999 Rs. The monthly plan offered for Prime subscribers is being projected as cost-friendly, considering the plans offered by Airtel 345 (1GB free data) and 549 (3GB free data).

Although it has been six months since the shoot of Mahesh Babu’s new film in the direction of AR Murugadoss commenced, no official update about the progress has yet been made. The latest revelation of the film’s leading lady, Rakul Preet Singh has now come as a huge surprise.
During a recent media interaction, Rakul said that she has shot for only 50 percent of her part for Mahesh’s film and that another 50 percent was still pending.
Rakul’s statement has come as a big surprise as the film is being continuously shot for the past 5-6 months. As many as ten schedules must have been wrapped up in Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangkok etc. Fans expected that most part of the shoot was over and that the entire film will be wrapped up in a month.
But, going by Rakul’s words, a good amount of work is still pending and the shoot may be dragged to April end. The untitled film’s shooting is currently taking place in Kadapa district. Scenes involving Mahesh and Rakul are expected to be shot in a fresh schedule next month. June 23 is the tentative release date.
As the shoot of Murugadoss’s film is getting delayed, Mahesh-Koratala project which was supposed to take off towards January end is reportedly pushed to May. Dasara release has reportedly rescheduled to Sankranthi 2018 release.
