In an hour-long speech, Pawan Kalyan has strongly rebuffed to criticism against him that he’s confined to one specific community. Strongly reacting to such baseless speculations, Pawan has made it clear that he’s not limited to any specific caste, group or community.
“I’m always against to the idea of caste, region, religion. Am hindu whereas my daughter is Christian. My wife came to me and said she wants to grew our daughter as per Russian orthodox Christianity. I was more than happy. I may pray Hindu Gods and she may pray Jesus, but irrespective of it, we’re all humans. The only caste I know is humanity.”
Pawan added that he was disappointed after reading few editorials in newspapers which had tried to limit for one community. “They were supportive when I was supporting TDP. But when I have slightly criticized TDP, few mainstream media suddenly tried to paint me otherwise. And that issue has been over after I spoken to them.”
Pawan’s comments have invited cheers, claps from crowds instantly.
After 33 Years, Pawan Does NTR
33 years after legendary NTR declared war against the insult to Telugus by Rajeev Gandhi who was only AICC general secretary then, Pawan Kalyan has chanted the “Aatma Gauravam” mantra again in Jana Sena Prasthanam Maha Sabha in Tirupati on Saturday. Emotional Pawan has taken on Sonia Gandhi, Congress leaders and Narendra Modi-led BJP.
In every sense, Pawan raked up the sentiment issue and tried to project himself as the messiah of Seema Andhras Aatma Gauravam. Pawan lampooned top leaders of BJP, Congress and he didn’t even spare the MPs, MLAs of TDP. Pawan attacked Venkaiah Naidu, Congress leader Jai Ram Ramesh, TDP Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju, and several others from the state. Maintaining that he has due respect on Modi, Pawan went onto blast BJP and at one point he directly stated that BJP is equally responsible as Congress for the poor situation of the successor state of AP.
Historians, political analysts are comparing Pawan’s speech with what NTR’s speech he had made 33 years ago in which he had blasted Congress. With Aatma Gauravam Ninadam, Pawan Kalyan has stated his action plan to fight for Telugu’s own right – Special Category Status. Pawan said that he’d begun his fight against Centre by organising a public meeting on Sep 9 in Kakinada. On the whole, Pawan’s speech was connecting and engaging as time and again he placed people’s interests above him and made it clear that people’s interests are his interest.
Pawan also gently warned BJP that he make sure AP’s plight would reach them and Jana Sena would be the movement vehicle.

Pawan Declares War On Centre For Special Status
That’s it. Film star and Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan has let the car out of the bag. The Power Star of Tollywood has declared war on the ruling BJP and vowed to fight until the special status is accorded to Andhra Pradesh.
Lashing out at the centre using some strong lines in his speech in Tirupati meeting, Pawan said “Adugesthe kalu virigela undakudadu..adugu mundukesthe thala egiri padali..alanti adugeyyali anduke alochinchi adugestha,” revealing why he has been silent over the special status fiasco all these years.
Pawan went on to say that he will fight for AP’s special status in three phases – 1. Tour the entire AP and interact with common people, starting from Kakinada. 2. Exert pressure on the BJP and TDP leaders and 3. Launch massive protests against the centre and the state until the special status is granted.
