Mumbai: Superstar Akshay Kumar says that honouring winners of competitions like Olympics with just medals is not enough, and that providing them financial rewards also are a more important and practical practice.”Winning a certificate or a medal is a very big achievement, but don’t you think receiving money is more practical? because I see that several people who participate, a lot of them are from poor families.

I have seen several times that some people want to sell their medals and earn money, and several such stories you all have heard. So it is better that when you honour someone, do it not just with a medal but also with money. it is important because you have to be practical in life,” Akshay said in a media interaction on the success of his recent film “Rustom”.

While there are several countries like USA and China, who win numerous medals at the Olympics every time, India is a country that usually ends with medals in single digits — if at all.India is also yet to win a medal at the Rio Olympics that conclude August 21.

While Baahubali fans are getting restless to see the second part of the story to unfold on screen, here’s some bad news for them. Baahubali – The Conclusion filming is currently running behind schedule as it is taking more time than expected to shoot the climax portions.As per reports, Baahubali 2 climax part was expected to be wrapped up by the end of August. But the filming of these epic war sequences has been taking so much time than Rajamouli and his team expected it to. Hence, climax shoot will be extended until September and there is a lot more to be filmed after that.

Rajamouli started to film the climax portions early as there is a lot of CG work involved. He wanted to give enough time for the graphics team for these scenes, but he is not able to finish them off as planned.Baahubali 2 is targeting at April 28, 2017 release, but it might get delayed until June/July as it is currently running behind schedule.

Rajamouli’s plan is to release this film during peak summer to get the most of the holiday season, but it looks like his film is going to miss out on summer again.However, seasons never mattered for an SS Rajamouli film as none of his films were released during holiday/festive season until now. Nevertheless they went on to become huge blockbusters.Even industry hits like Magadheera and Baahubali were released on July 31st and July 10th (non holiday period) respectively.
