Aatadukundam Raa Movie Review
Story
Vijay Ram (Murali Sharma) is a rich businessman who is deceived by his best friend Anand Rao. He loses all his properties and is left with a rice mill which is their lifeline. To marry his brother’s (Raghu Babu) daughter he tries to sell that rice mill for which Syamala Rao acts as a road block. Vijay Ram calls his sister’s son who eloped from their home to sign the documents to sell the rice mill who is Karthik (Sushanth). Karthik comes and slowly start solving problems faced by Vijay Ram and his family in his ways and helps in the marriage of Vijay Ram’s brother’s daughter. They come to know that Karthik is not their original son in law. Then who is Karthik?? What is his intention?? How he solved all the problems form the rest of story.
Performance
Sushanth as Karthik who returns from America to settle issues here is good. He need to improve more in terms of expressions. He looks handsome in some scenes. Sonam Preethi as Sruthi is good and looks gorgeous. Murali Sharma is superb and did his role with ease. Posani Krishna Murali is nice. Thirty years Prudhvi is as usual. Raghu babu is nice. Sudha is fit for her role. Rama Prabha is good. Harish Koyalagundla is okay in his role. Vennela Kishore is good. Brahmanandham has nothing new to offer. Other actors did well to the extent of their role.
Technical Performance
Songs composed by Anoop Rubens are okay. His background score okay and good for some scenes. Cinematography by Dasaradhi is good as visuals are rich and colourful. Editing by Gautham Raju should have been much better. Action sequences are well composed. Production values are rich.
Plus Points
Sushanth as Karthik
Minus Points

Illogical Scenes
Final Say
Movie begins with setting up the pace and intensity required for the easy flow of the movie where Vijay Ram is deceived. This half goes with some comedy scenes which works at places and is ended with an interesting twist and bang. This half is okay and slightly entertaining. Second half start with illogical scenes and goes on with the introduction and comedy scenes of Vennela Kishore and Brahmanandam. This half has nothing new to offer than a formulaic Telugu movie. This half goes nowhere but the lagging of the story with lot of scenes of Vennela Kishore and Brahmanandam. There are some scenes where audience burst out laughing which are so funny. This movie runs in the same formula which audience rejected in the last year. Director should have taken much care in scripting and making this movie more entertaining. Anoop Rubens songs don’t add to this movie. Logics goes on toss in scenes before 20 years where actors use mobile phones. Akhil and Naga Chaitanya cameo does not make any difference. To sum up, Aatadukundham Raa is a wasted effort from Sushanth.
Selfie Troubles in Krishna Pushkaralu

In this age of technology, we have yet to find a place where selfie hasn’t reached. Apparently, even Krishna Pushkaralu is not devoid of selfie madness. It is known that Krishna Pushkaralu started in the residual Andhra Pradesh from August 12. This 12 day mega religious festival is known for gathering lakhs of devotes from across the country to Krishna River centered at Vijayawada for holy dips. This edition of Pushkaralu has already attracted lakhs of devotees especially because of the prompt arrangements made by Andhra Pradesh govt. with an expense of over Rs 1000 Cr.
The one reported problems police face at the Ghats is selfie madness. Few modern age devotees are reportedly not coming out quickly as they keep themselves busy taking selfies. Police have to face the wrath of the devotees who stand in queue waiting for their turn to take holy dips. Apparently, some devotees are even asking police to help them find the phones that they are bound to lose in the River while taking selfies.
Despite the repeated pleas of police, this selfie craze looks to continue troubling them until the end of Pushkaralu.
Confusion on Akhil’s Second Ends

After a lot of dilly dallying, finally the confusion on Akhil’s second film seems to have come to an end. According to sources close to the Akkineni clan, Manam director Vikram Kumar has been zeroed in on to helm Akhil’s second film and we heard that it’s a fresh story narrated by Vikram. Also, buzz is that the film is going to have youthful elements that lacked in his maiden film.
However, Akhil is jinxed this time around. He’s not going to make the announcement like he did for Hanu Raghavapudi which went onto be shelved without even hitting the floors. Latest is that none other than Nagarjuna would be making an official announcement soon on an auspicious muhurat. While it’s not clear who’s going to produce it, mostly it’d be bankrolled by Nag’s home production Annapuran Studios.
Though Vikram is supposed to team up with Allu Arjun after his 24, he has to wait as Bunny would be working with Harish Shankar before doing film with Vikram. In the meantime, Vikram would be directing Akhil’s second film.
Sachin Adopts Another Village

Cricket God turned the Rajya Sabha MP Sachin Tendulkar has once again proved why people adore him. Sachin has now exhibited his humanitarian side for the nth time by adopting another village.
In the past, Sachin had adopted Puttamraju Kandriga, a backward village of Nellore district, Andhra Pradesh under Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojna. He spent Rs 4 crore from the MP funds to give a complete makeover for the village. Now, the village boasts of concrete roads, continuous supply of water and electricity, toilets, underground drainage system, sewage treatment plant etc. In just few months, he changed the village into a smart village.
This time, Sachin adopted Donja village of Osmanabad district, Maharashtra. The village was completely destructed due to the drought this year. He is expected to do the same service to this village that he had done for the development of the backward village in AP. The people of Donja have expressed their happiness after Sachin chose their village.
CHUTTALABBAYI Movie REVIEW
Story
‘Chuttalabbayi/Chuttalabbai’ is yet another romantic flick featuring Aadi and Namita Pramod in titular roles. Veerabhadram shapes the project and S.S.Thaman has composed music. So let’s see how the movie has shaped up ? Babji (Aadi) is a recovery agent and he comes across a girl Kavya (Namitha Pramod). She faces a grave danger from her own family and Babji helps her from this crunch situation. But at this juncture, Kavya’s brother (Abhimanyu Singh) believes that it is Babji who is behind all this and he starts chasing the couple. As Babji runs out of options, he brings Kavya to his own village and he introduces her as best friend. Kavya slowly falls in Love with Babji. When everything goes as planned, Kavya’s family attack Babji’s family with help of another gang. Rest of the story is all about, how Babji solves the problems and gets into happily ever after with Kavya.
Performance
Coming to performances, Aadi who is desperate to give a hit has given a decent performance and he has improved his screen presence. He also has changed his acting skills. But still some thing is lacking in him. Sai Kumar doesn’t have much to offer. But he brings more depth and intensity during second half. Once again 30 years pruthvi saves the movie during comedy scenes. He handled it so well. Posani, Ali and Raghu Babu manage were okay with their hilarious jokes here and there. Female lead Namitha is just a showcase doll. She is beauty and that’s it. She is stone faced for most part. A better heroine could have elevated the movie’s prospects. Athletic achievement
Techinical Performance
The movie is funded by ‘Rose Telugu Movies’ banner. The trailer of the movie received some strong criticism as most of them felt actor Aadi has insulted ‘Reddy’ community. However we feel that is also unnecessary to the script. Venkatesh Talari has produced the movie on a decent budget and the movie has lived up to it. Production values are quite decent. S.S.Thaman has given some average numbers and sound background effect. However the biggest drawback for this movie is the storyline. The story is ages old and beaten to death screenplay makes the characters too weak. The first half seems far better compared to the second half. Also the female lead is too weak. Some profound artists would have been an added plus to the movie. Cinematography is pretty decent and the village is shown in some natural lightings and that enhances the atmosphere. Veera Bhadram is just getting pass mark in direction department. He should have focused more on second half to make things more interesting.
Final Say
The first half of the movie is watchable and second half is too shallow and it tests our patience. The movie doesn’t offer anything new with an outdated story and beaten to death screenplay. The few jokes here and there evokes smile on audience. Female lead is too worst. S S Thaman has done his job and cinematography is awesome. Nothing else to brag about. If you have ample time to kill, watch this one on theatre.

Akira’s Debut on 4th Sep
Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s son Akira Nandan is all set to make his debut on Television screen on 4th September this year.
It is already known that Akira made his silver screen debut with his mother and Pawan’s ex-wife Renu Desai’s directorial debut ‘Ishq Wala Love’. Since the film was mainly made for Marathi audiences and later dubbed in Telugu, no one showed interest to watch it despite it had Akira in a key role.
After the film had witnessed miserable failure on silver screen, Renu Desai tried very hard to sell the film’s satellite rights. It was rumored some time back that Pawan Kalyan came to the rescue of Renu when no channel had shown interest to acquire ‘Ishq Wala Love’. Using his proximity to ETV honcho Ramoji Rao, Pawan played a key role in Renu cracking a deal with ETV.
After a long delay, finally ETV has agreed to telecast the film on 4th September. The news has been revealed by Renu herself by tweeting, “ETV has confirmed the telecast date of Ishq Wala Love (Telugu) for 4th September. Finally we will get to see Akira’s mini debut on screen”.
To attract audiences, she calls the film ‘Akira’s mini debut’, a great marketing strategy indeed.

Ileana to Take Legal Action against Producer

Goa hottie Ileana is planning to take legal action against a producer for announcing her to be part of his film when she had rejected it in reality.
A sequel to hit Bollywood film ‘Aankhen’ was recently launched with great fanfare in Mumbai. Amitabh Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, Anil Kapoor, Regina Cassandra and few others who will be associated with this film to be directed by Anees Bazmee were present at the event. Film’s producer Gaurang Doshi announced that Ileana, who was absent from the event, will also be seen in the film. Moreover, a video featuring Ileana was also telecasted at the event.
Ileana came to know about this only after her closed ones contacted her to congratulate. This made her furious as she turned the film down when she was offered it. The announcement was made without her permission, and the actress is now contemplating to initiate legal action against the producer.
