Maximum of theaters have been blocked for Venkatesh and Nayanthara starrer Babu Bangaram releasing on August 12th. Young mega hero Sai Dharam Tej’s Thikka which is releasing on the very next day of August 13th has got very less number of theaters compared to Babu Bangaram and this has become big headache for Thikka makers.

As a matter of fact, Telugu film producers and distributors have put themselves a condition of maintaining at least one to two weeks gap between big film releases. However, this will not be applicable during holiday seasons like dussehra, sankranthi, diwali etc.August is not at all a festival or any other holiday season, still Babu Bangaram and Thikka are clashing at box office. While Babu Bangaram producers with backing of Suresh Babu have blocked as many as theaters in Nizam Andhra and Ceded, the Thikka makers started the process bit late.

Thikka is first production venture for producer Rohin Reddy who doesn’t have experience in filmmaking any way earlier. Nonetheless, he is very much assured of his film to become a big hit.While Babu Bangaram promotions are in full swing, Thikka makers are also giving tough competition in promoting their film too.Meanwhile, Thikka is done with censor and the movie has been received U/A certificate. Babu Bangaram had completed the process few days ago. Hope, both Babu Bangaram and Thikka will provide profits for the respective producers after the theatrical outing!

Superstar Mahesh Babu being ‘Family Guy’ is well-known. Whenever he finds some time, Mahesh prefers to spend quality time with his family members. Mahesh who turned 41 on Tuesday, celebrated his birthday so simply by staying away from all the hungama, hullabaloo. Mahesh celebrated his birthday with his close-knit family. Mahesh took his wife Namrata and kids Gautam, Sitara out to famous Taj Falaknuma palace and treated them with scrumptious food.

The shooting of AR Murugadoss film with the star was given break and the makers have planned such that there won’t be film shooting on Tuesday and Wednesday. So Mahesh decided to spend two days fully with the family members.

Earlier in the day, Mahesh got blessings from his superstar dad-veteran actor Krishna. The whole day was eventful as Mahesh spend time with family. Kids Gautam, Sitara was so happy playing with dad and the duo wished dad a happy birthday.

When Krish and Balakrishna together announced their association for Balayya’s prestigious 100th film, Gautamiputra Satakarni, elated fans were in for a much bigger thrill when Rock Star Devi Sri Prasad was roped in to score the music for the film.

Gautamiputra Satakarni kicked off its shooting in June in Morocco and the team shot a major talkie part and action sequences in Hyderabad and Georgia in July. Krish planned to wrap up the entire shooting before October to cater more time for the VFX work to make sure the film doesn’t miss the Sankranthi deadline.Now, Krish wanted to picturize the songs in the upcoming schedule and kept on asking DSP to finish composing the songs. However, DSP, who has been busy with several high-profile projects in Telugu and Tamil, kept on delaying the recording.

Inside buzz is that Krish and the rest of the team members, after waiting patiently for several weeks, are finally vexed with DSP’s unavailability and are planning to replace DSP with another composer as DSP looks to be in no mood to complete the songs in the coming few weeks, which will invariably cause a delay in the shooting.

There had been huge criticism when Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador of Indian Olympic Association’s (IOA). Now, the ‘Dabangg’ Khan has proved why he is not the deserving person.Speaking at the trailer launch of his younger brother Sohail Khan’s new film ‘Freaky Ali’ on Sunday, Salman Khan twice called the name of India’s gymnast Dipa Karmakar wrong. When Salman forgot Dipa’s name and pronounced her Deepika, a journalist corrected him by saying the name, Dipti. The notorious Khan then said, “Yes, Dipti”.

This incident happened just few hours after Dipa made history by becoming the first Indian woman athlete to qualify for the individual vault finals at the 2016 Olympics in Rio. She finished 8th in the qualifying round and will next compete in the finals scheduled for August 14.

Salman is now facing severe criticism for misnaming the star athlete of India, who is a bright hope to win a medal for the country. Nandamuri Balakrishna has begun dubbing for the warrior Gautamiputra Satakarni. Even before the film has completed its shooting, Balayya started dubbing for his portion that he completed till date. Director Krish Jagarlamudi has wrapped up three schedules of the film and took a break for his wedding that held on Sunday night with attendance of who’s who of Tollywood.

Krish made sure that nothing would be delayed because of his wedding and saw to it that all are planned. Graphic works, Vfx works have been going on simultaneously. As makers are planning to release the film for Sankranthi, they’re leaving no stone unturned to finish the film far ahead than its release.

Nandamuri Balakrishna has watched Mohanlal-Gautami starrer Manamantha on Monday night in Hyderabad and heaped in praises for the film’s unit. Balayya lauded director Chandrasekhar Yeleti for making an exceptional film laced with emotions.
Already directors like Rajamouli, Sukumar have appreciated the film and with Balayya complimenting the film, the unit is quite delighted and is basking in glory.

Yet what’s making him more happy and make him enjoy is his younger brother Allu Sirish’s success with Srirastu Subhamastu. None other than Bunny himself corroborated it and he admitted that he is now enjoying Sirish’s success.

However, Allu Arjun said he has predicted the success of Srirastu Subhamastu before its release. “I had been observing Sirish for the past one year. He’s working late nights and all his efforts paid off. I could see many positive vibes around the film since its beginning. Firstly, the title- Srirastu Subhamastu created interest in me. Many have told me that title is good. Then, I liked the film’s trailer. Finally, when I saw rushes, I was wowed and decided that the movie is going to be a hit. I told dad (Allu Aravind) the same,” said Allu Arjun who was the chief guest for the Thankyou meet.

Allu Arjun was honest and admitted that his dad Allu Aravind, and his whole family were very particular about this film. “For us this film me is very prestigious. We’all treated this as Sirish’s debut film.” Interestingly, Allu Arjun on dais stated what he has learnt from his dad with this film. “The way my dad worked for this film has taught me how responsible I should be with my son after 20 years,” Allu Arjun shared.

Bunny is all praise for Rao Ramesh and recalled his grandfather’s association with Rao Ramesh’s father-yesteryear actor Rao Gopal Rao. “Ee Naati Ee Bandha Menatido…’. My grandfather Allu Ramalingaiah garu and his father Rao Gopal Rao garu had acted together in several films. Sirish and I are continuing the relationship which is very good thing.” Allu Arjun said that he always wanted to do films like Bommarillu, Mr Perfect and added that he’s happy for his brother Sirish who did such film at the early of his career.
